The Fifth Tantric Dharma King: 3. The Exit of the Preface (II)
After taking the young Tashi Lama out of the pass, the carriage and horses returned along the way they came. The unknown lake, the half-dry grassland, the desert Gobi, the figures of the four horses and the five lamas, in this mysterious land, seem so small, but under the eternal desolate atmosphere, but unyieldingly reveal the vitality. Without the existence of living beings, there would be nothing but desolation in heaven and earth.
The middle-aged lama on the horse, and the three little lamas on foot with the horses, although they looked a little tired, their faces were all peaceful, without the slightest impatience or the fatigue and numbness of the long journey. Tashi was lying flat on the wooden cart, with a soft blanket under his body, and after three years of penance, although he was a little thin, he was not skinny, and when he was cleaned, his face, including the skin of his whole body, was a kind of crystal that was almost pale, but there was a faint jewel-like brilliance circulating.
After re-adapting to the light of the outside world, the ribbon on Tashi's eyes was untied, he quietly looked at the blue sky and white clouds, his eyes were extremely clear, and they all reflected the blue and clouds, pure and natural, without a little impurity, Tashi at this moment is the sky is the earth, not only the snow peaks on the edge of the sky, but also the Gobi that seems to be desolate but hides infinite vitality.
Suddenly, the horse pulling the cart seemed to sense something, and its hooves were staggered, and it was invisibly much lighter. Tashi smiled at the corners of his mouth, took a breath, then closed his eyes in contentment, and fell asleep like a child to the monotonous and rhythmic sound of horses' hooves.
When a golden sun shines on the front. Finally, a trail that can be called a road appears. In fact, it is a road, but it is just a mark left by the time of the floating soil and dust. Someone said. There is no road in the world, but there are many people who walk, so there is a road.
The most obvious change is that the prayer towers on both sides, which are about three meters high and resemble gourds, gradually increase in number with five-colored prayer flags. Tashi on the board unconsciously changed his sleeping position, and he rolled over on his stomach. I don't know when I woke up, but what flowed through my eyes were piles of rubble and prayer flags stuck in the gaps. Suddenly, a flash of green caught Tashi's eye. He stretched out his hand, and a small piece of grass, still stubbornly radiating green, appeared in Tashi's hand.
As if knowing that the return was near, the four horses suddenly neighed at the same time. Tashi let go of his hand. The little grass went away with the wind. Not far away, halfway up the mountain, a monastery spreads out along the mountain. More than a dozen tall and low buildings, the outside is a two-meter-high wall, the general lama temple wall is mostly vermilion, but the outer wall of this temple, is red, white, blue three color patterns.
Kichijoji. Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism has the largest number of followers and is one of the most influential mandalas of the Sakya sect. Sakya means "gray land" in Tibetan. An auspicious land. The red, white and blue colors on the wall are the unique symbols of the Sakya sect, and the pink and white represent the great compassion of Guanyin, the great wisdom of Manjushri and the great strength of Vajra, so the Sakya sect is also known as the flower sect in Tantra.
Tashi leaned over the back of a young lama, resting his chin on the little lama's shoulder, looking at Kichijoji on the hillside, a temple in which he had lived since he was sensible, and it seemed that in his childhood memories of the heavy courtyard that he could never finish. However, Kichijoji at this moment seems to be a little different from usual.
In the square in front of the main hall of Kichijoji, there is a strange high pole that seems to be a flagpole, but it is obviously a high pole like a prayer tower, and you can see eight long ropes distributed in eight directions from the top of the pole as if it were an open umbrella, and the long rope is wrapped with five-colored ribbons. Tashi never understood what the high pole meant, but he knew that in addition to the puja in his teachings, there were several more important festivals, and Kichijoji had never had such a grand atmosphere.
The sound of "moo" is slightly dull, but the incomparably long horn sounds, this sound is too suitable for the spatial combination of snowy regions, grasslands, and Gobi, desolate, tragic, unyielding, the sound of the horn is far away, and then the aftersound disappears in the group flash, but suddenly, the distant mountain and snow peaks are blank, and they are filled with a worrying and melancholy atmosphere for no reason.
The little lama carrying Tashi on his back stopped at the temple gate. At this time, the temple door slowly opened, and the square was empty, only an old lama with white hair sat at the front of the main hall, and a string of prayer beads in his hand was gently turning, and the whole person seemed to be integrated with the hall behind him.
The middle-aged lama, who had rarely spoken on the way out of Tashi, stepped forward and said, "Rinpoche, I took Tashi home, and although he has gone far for three years, three months and three days, he has not lost his way. ”
"If he gets lost, he's not a kid of the plateau." The old lama nodded slightly, "Kampot, Venerable Dangba will give you blessings, starting tomorrow, those classics left by Venerable Dangba after Jixiangji will need your protection." ”
Kampot Lama's eyebrows jumped uncontrollably a few times, with his status in Kichijoji, he was already a great lama who already had a servant, and the three little lamas who followed were all his servants, but for a tantric cultivator, the most important thing was to improve his practice. As the guardian of the so-called Dangba Venerable texts, it actually means that from now on he can practice the deeper tantric teachings of Kichijoji.
"Master Sonam!" Tashi was placed on the ground by the little lama, his back against a rope, his voice small but respectful. In Tantra, Guru is both an honorific title and an honorific title for one's own teacher. "Rinpoche", on the other hand, is a general term for lamas who have great practices and merits. Undoubtedly, the old lama Sonam is Tashi's true spiritual teacher.
"Tashi, my child." Old Lama Sonam smiled gently, "What did you gain from this time when you entered the Dingyuan trip?" ”
Tashi shook his head, "Master, I can't remember. In the three years of stasification, he can be said to have experienced almost all the perceptions, but he is not sure which one is the realm he needs, and Tashi can't help but hesitate, not knowing what he wants to defend.
Old Lama Sonam suddenly laughed, "Tashi, have you seen the eight long ropes on that flagpole?" Tashi suddenly found that the eight long ropes were not five-colored ribbons, but eight simple colors, but the rope he was leaning back on was gray. Tashi, what do you see? ”
What Tashi saw was that on the long rope he was leaning on, suddenly a light swept from top to bottom, and on the rope that was originally wrapped around the gray ribbon, red, white, and blue flashed in turn, like a loud bang like thunder, and suddenly sounded in Tashi's mind, followed by wave after wave, like a sea of chanting, filled his ears.
Tashi's body slowly floated up, his legs were auspiciously coiled, and his hands quickly pinched one after another spells, red, white, and blue lights, constantly from the top of the flagpole, along the long rope into Tashi's body, and finally Guanyin, Manjushri and Vajra's Dharma appeared on the top of Tashi's head, holding various magic weapons, Tashi fixed a spell, "Hum Mani sorrow! ”
"Hum Mani is miserable!" The old lama Sonam also recited the six-character mantra, and he said in a deep voice: "Tashi, Kichijoji is the inheritance of the Saga sect, and the only Dharma king of the Sakya sect for thousands of years is the master of the Saga sect next to the four ancestors of the Saga sect, and he is also the deity of the Zongba sect, the great god of Dangba, the Dharma king of the Zongba sect, finally reappeared after a thousand years!" ”
