Chapter 15: The Living Corpse

I watched as the yellow bug crawled out of the conductor's big-brimmed hat.

The yellow bug was oval, with a shiny bulky carapace on its back and a gillary lobe-like antennae on its head, much like the blind scarab we used to catch when we were children. However, the more obvious difference, which I could see at first glance, is that the insects have a row of small teeth on the upper and lower jaws, like the perforations on the stamps issued in the 70s, densely packed and sharp.

My first reaction was that this was not an ordinary insect, firstly, it looked strange, I had seen it in this lump in the Northeast, and secondly, there was such a big thing on the train, this bug would not appear for no reason.

In that extreme fear, I was a little afraid of a thumb-sized bug, and subconsciously stepped back a little.

The yellow worm doesn't seem to be afraid of people, so he crawled in front of me with six small feet under my feet, maybe it was too nervous, I was like a northerner who saw a domineering cockroach in the south, and I was so frightened that I didn't dare to move.

The yellow worm suddenly stopped when it was only about ten centimeters from my feet, and then it continued to circle me around the garden as if it was thinking, but it never approached me any further, as if there was something about me that made it a little taboo.

After a minute or so, the yellow worm finally stopped moving back and forth, opened the two petal shells on its back, and exposed the thin membranous wings from it, fluttering up like a fluttering moth, its membranous wings vibrated very quickly, making a buzzing sound, but the strange thing is that when the insect vibrated its wings, it was mostly to take off, but the yellow bug in front of it was still on the ground, its flapping wings, as if sending out something.

Before I could react, I suddenly heard a commotion in my ears. I looked at the source of the sound, but saw that the conductor's body seemed to move. I was startled and thought it was a dazzle, but the idea lasted less than a few seconds before I was dismissed, because immediately after that I saw the conductor's mouth visibly go up! Then, he slowly turned his head towards me!

Fuck me! Deceived corpses, huh? I saw that the conductor's head was facing me, and the pupils of his eyes the size of ink spots were also aimed at me, and although it looked dull, I could still feel a chill on the bridge of my nose. Before the idea of my escape could come to me, a scene that made me even more frightened happened: I noticed that the body of the long-dead conductor suddenly moved, as if a force was piercing the skin, and then the amplitude became larger and larger, and the dead corpse actually moved, and then the conductor staggered to his feet!

It's a scam! As soon as this movement came out, my feet were weak again, and the urine in my bladder seemed to be dripping out. Look at the conductor again, his movements are very stiff, the joints and bones are constantly making a clattering sound, and the most terrible thing is the skin of the face, which is still bloody, and the flesh and blood are falling down like paste, and the scene is very disgusting.

But that's not the worst of the day.

Not long after the train conductor's corpse was defrauded, there was another commotion in my ears, and then I saw all the uniformed attendants lying or sitting around me shaking constantly! In less than half a minute, they all stood up one after another!

That's fucking damn enough! All the corpses in the cab were "alive", and they were hunched over like the walking dead. His hands hung limply, and they all pointed at me, their blood-drenched faces that had been torn off!

At the same time, the yellow worm under his feet slowed down in the frequency of its wings, flapped its wings and flew to the conductor's shoulder, stopped on it, and then crawled into the conductor's ear hole.

My first thought was that there was definitely something wrong with this bug, but my current situation was not the time to think about this evil thing. Run! Now all you have to do is run quickly, you have to run right away! Although the flesh on my body is scattered, the desire to survive still gives me some strength. I quickly turned around, ran out of the cab door, and ran outside.

The train was entering a section of railroad tracks that had fallen into disrepair at this time, and there were some bumps in the train. The overhead light was dim, coupled with the shaking of the train, the lights kept swaying from side to side, crumbling, and the light emitted was also shining in the east and west, which was very dazzling. So I always couldn't see the situation in the car clearly, and I staggered when I ran.

Actually, I didn't know where to run, I just wanted to avoid the living corpses as soon as possible, so I ran forward as fast as I could. The living corpses behind me followed, but they moved slowly, their feet almost dragging on the ground, and I couldn't even touch my heels if I ran.

I hadn't run far yet, perhaps I was too panicked, and it was as if I had tripped over something, and I fell to the ground with a stumble. The fall was not light, the skin on my hands was broken, and my kneecaps hurt badly when they hit the ground. I endured the pain and tried to get up, but found that my right foot couldn't move, I subconsciously turned my head to look, and suddenly broke out in a cold sweat: I don't know when, a pale hand put on my ankle and held it tightly!

I looked at this hand, but saw the corpse of a female passenger lying at my feet, and it was not accurate to say that it was a corpse, because she was "alive" like the person in the cab, and she was creaking and twisting her head, like a villain in a music box, and her movements were very mechanical. I hurriedly kicked my foot hard, broke free from the hand of the female corpse, and got up in a panic, not daring to slack off, and continued to run.

It was at this time that I began to notice that all the passengers in this carriage who had already died were "alive", and they kept getting up from their seats! They shook their limbs, dragging a trail of blood towards me!

My right brow jumped, I said badly, and hurriedly continued to run towards another carriage. But I found that the bodies of the passengers in that carriage were also "alive". A group of living corpses walked around the carriage with their heads bowed, as if they were looking for prey.

A thought popped into my head: all the passengers on this train are afraid to turn into living corpses! I may be the only survivor on this train.

Faced with this scene in front of me, I was a little overwhelmed, and there were chasing soldiers and tigers in front of them, and I didn't know what to do for a while.

Just when I was a little stunned, a living corpse suddenly jumped out from the side of the door, and before I could see his silhouette, he lay directly on top of me and pressed me firmly to the ground.

For a moment I was confused, struggling with my life, but the strength of this living corpse was so great that I had no chance to break free. The face of this living corpse began to rot a little, and it was shriveled in some places, but I could still see the blood vessels and tendons buried in the muscles, and he grinned, as if he wanted to bite off my neck, and there was constantly sticky blood flowing out of it, dripping on my face, I suddenly felt disgusting, but I didn't care about any disgusting or disgusting, if he didn't eat me, it would be a big feces on my face, I would be willing! I could only hold on at this point, borrowing my knees against his body.

Just as I was facing the living corpse, I noticed that under his white eyes, that is, in the gap between his eye sockets, there was a yellow worm that was the same as the one I had seen in the conductor before, as if it had been embedded there.

I was still looking at something, but I turned my head to find that the pile of living corpses behind me was already only a few steps away! I scolded my mother and tried to break free, but to no avail, the beast's strength was too great, and it locked my hands firmly like two pliers.

Seeing the living corpses at both ends getting closer and closer to me, I became more and more afraid, and I felt like I was going to die.

Just as I was approaching despair, I suddenly heard a loud pop, and the living corpse that was pressing on me was knocked out by something, and the brute force that bound me was also removed.

I was relieved, and when I looked up, I saw the old bustard standing in front of me with a gray face, his head held high, and a bronze shovel in his hand.

"Master, I'll come too!"
