3. The mountain rain is coming, and the wind is full of buildings
At that time, it was spring break, and my husband had to end the family reunion early because of some emergencies at work.
That morning, after packing my husband's luggage for a business trip and sending him out, I went back to the bedroom to feed the children. When I heard the noise outside the house and ran out, my mother-in-law had fallen to the ground, screaming in pain.
helped her up and sat for a long time, but her mother-in-law still snorted in pain as soon as she moved. As soon as I said that I would accompany her to the hospital to have a look, she immediately shook her head and said that it was no big deal, it would cost money to go to the hospital, and we didn't have much savings in the first place, so don't spend that unjust money again.
When I heard that, I was somewhat sad and distressed.
After persuading her for a long time, she couldn't resist her after all, so she found some medicine and wine and rubbed it for her. During this period, I saw her looking flustered and thinking about what to do. After careful questioning, she told me mysteriously that she was going to go to the temple fair today to make a vow.
Seeing that I was looking at her inexplicably, she said in a lower voice, we were able to give birth to such a lovely child this time, all thanks to her previous devout worship of Guanyin. He also said that now that Guanyin has appeared, she should also bring some tribute at the best time to make a vow as she had promised.
My husband and I have children, and there are indeed some twists and turns in between. But we never believed in feudal superstition. When my mother-in-law saw this, she began to say in surprise that if she didn't make a vow in the future, she wouldn't make a wish, and maybe it would happen to the child.
Even though I really didn't believe that the Bodhisattva would be so cautious, I couldn't resist my mother-in-law's repeated thoughts, and finally agreed to help her repay her vows.
Our temple fair here is in a park next to a mountain. From the foot of the mountain to the temple at the top of the mountain, there are a total of 999 steps, and I climbed my chest and back.
Squinting at the eyes that were smoked to tears, squeezed all the way into the temple, and couldn't tell which one was the goddess of mercy, holding the high incense and paper money that my mother-in-law had prepared before, I just went out with a cigarette and worshipped it, and I felt that the whole person even gasped out with smoke particles.
Due to the large amount of smoke inhaled before, it was very uncomfortable in the lungs. I bent down and held on to the stone fence in front of the temple on the top of the hill and coughed faintly. When I finally stopped coughing, stroked my chest with both hands, and raised my head to take a few breaths of fresh air, someone suddenly pushed my back!
I screamed, subconsciously trying to grab the railing, but due to inertia, the whole person pounced forward, and my hand was empty.
Fortunately, although the stone railing was low, it was almost up to my waist, and I bent my legs, exerted my strength to feed, and firmly pressed my kneecaps against the railing, and then I pulled my upper body back little by little.
As soon as I stood still, I turned around and turned back.
In front of them, there was still a bustling crowd of people holding incense paper, each busy with their own things. I don't even think even the people in my vicinity heard my shout.
The sudden shock made my back sweat and my heart jumped as if it was about to tear my chest. At this time, when the mountain wind blows like this, my whole body trembles weakly.
I tried to figure out who was pushing me in the crowd, but my newly smoked eyes blurred my vision.
But one thing was clear to me: just now, someone wanted to kill me!
