Chapter 32: Training? Game?

As soon as I saw me, I was in a map that resembled a training ground.

In front of me, a black figure appeared in my sight.

This black shadow has no face and is completely pitch black, a bit like the black stickman in the stickman animation.

"Hello freedom fighters, welcome to the combat teaching mode, I am your instructor, and now, I will teach you basic combat skills."

"Fighting with cold weapons is a very ancient way of fighting, before the emergence of technology, people can only use this primitive and rudimentary weapon to fight, its essence is to use weapons to destroy the target's body by colliding to kill each other, and then I will introduce several of the most basic weapons to use methods."

As he spoke, the stickman took out several weapons and demonstrated their use one by one, all of which were basic weapons such as spears, shields, and swords, and it seems that the weapons developed in the early days of different civilizations were very similar.

The more I looked at it, the more stupid I felt, this thing was talking to elementary school students.

The way he uses weapons is also very simple, there is no advanced skill at all, just simple smashing, slashing, stabbing, blocking and the like, and it is not even as practical as the swordsmanship I learned in the swordsmanship hall.

It seems that this program is mainly for those who have just become freedom fighters, especially those with advanced civilizations like the Tianhe Star People, and they have no concept of cold weapon combat at all, so this thing is similar to something like a novice guide, and there is nothing that veteran players like me must see.

But I read it patiently.

"Okay, I've finished talking about the basic use of weapons, next, we're going to do some targeted training, please choose the item you want to train."

A menu pops up in front of you.

There are many options for this targeted training, such as shield defense exercises, sword swinging exercises, spear dash exercises, and so on.

I chose the shield defense exercise first.

Training Item 1 - Shield Defense Practice: Defend against biting and scratching attacks from beasts, for those agile beasts that use fangs and claws to kill enemies, especially small beasts, use shields to effectively defend against their attacks, now, prepare your shields, you will suffer from continuous attacks from several beasts, you can get 100 points for each successful defense, if you are able to counterattack the target while defending, you can get extra points, 100 points will be deducted for being hit by beasts, The final score of more than 1000 points will be counted towards the training score leaderboard.

I was standing in the circle, surrounded by a group of black beasts, and there were ten of them, and these beasts had no specific appearance, just a black silhouette.

First of all, a countdown.

I took a defensive stance, and after a few seconds, all of a sudden, a beast burst out of the ranks and lunged at me.

I immediately raised my shield, and with a bang, the black beast slammed into the shield, which I easily blocked, and then disappeared immediately.

Then the second beast pounced on it as well, this time scratching with its claws, and I hurriedly raised my shield and tore at it, the sound of its claws cutting through the metal was so piercing.

Then came the third beast, which chose to bite me off the leg, and I hurriedly crouched down to continue my shield defense.

I defended against the attacks of eight or nine beasts in one breath, and it felt quite simple, the more I went back, the faster the beast's attack speed, but my reaction was not satisfied, after all, I usually like sports, and I feel that defending against the attacks of beasts is not much more difficult than playing basketball defense.

When the tenth beast struck, I decided to try to defend myself.

Seeing the beast leap into the air and bite it with its mouth wide open, I directly raised my shield and slapped it.

With a bang, the beast was not very large, and this time it was directly slapped out.

Complete Defensive Counterattack: Earn 50 bonus points.

Points Summary: You have earned 1050 points, which have been counted in the points leaderboard.

The stickman instructor nodded: "Very good, you have completed the shield defense training, now let's do the sword swinging training." ”

Sword Swing Training: Swing the sword in your hand and attack the beasts that rush at you. For beasts lacking heavy armor, a common sword can deal massive damage, and with the right use, this simple weapon can defeat most of your enemies, but in a savage battlefield, life and death are only a split second, and you must hit the target in a single attack and deal enough damage to kill the target.

You will receive 100 points for successfully killing the target, extra points for hitting the target, and 100 points for failing to hit the beast.

Soon a circle of beasts appeared around me, also made of black shadows, but in addition to small beasts, there were also medium-sized beasts two or three meters long.

Is my heart really fake? Can slashing these two or three meter-long beasts with a sword really kill them with one hit? However, the swords of these aliens' ultimate moves are very sharp, and it is not impossible to hit the vital point.

But whatever, isn't it training?

To be on the safe side, I chose a two-handed sword as a training weapon, I raised the blade high with both hands and chose to start training, and when the countdown was over for a few seconds, a beast rushed towards me.

"Give me death!" With a loud roar, a sword slashed out against the momentum of the beast rushing over, and the beast did not dodge or dodge, and was directly split in half by my sword.

Another beast pounced, and I swept it away, slashing it off in mid-air.

Complete Critical Strike: Gain 50 extra points.

I didn't expect the second sword to hit an extra bonus, so I said in my heart that it would be right to cut it specifically on the head.

When the third beast rushed over, I aimed it at the head and stabbed it out, this beast was huge, and it didn't turn quickly, but it hit the tip of the sword headlong.

Critical Strike: Gain 100 bonus points.

Haha, it feels quite emotional. The more I slashed, the more I felt refreshed, and I cut down ten beasts in one eye-piercing effort, and only failed three times during the period, mainly because I wanted to cut off my head a little too much, and once I encountered a relatively small and very sensitive beast, and was dodged by the other party, and two times because the target was too big, and I didn't do enough damage to kill the target.

One last look at the final score.

System summary: You have earned 1450 points, which have been added to the leaderboard.

The stickman instructor clapped his hands in admiration.

"It's amazing, you're the best fighter I've ever trained, and to be able to achieve such good results in my first training session, I see great potential in you."

I didn't take the stickman coach's words seriously, it's mostly a fixed procedure, it's not a big deal.

The third training is dodge training.

Dodge Training: In the face of the onslaught of huge monsters, both attack and defense are very difficult, in this case the wisest choice is to dodge the opponent's frontal attack, and then seek opportunities to fight, dodge the beasts that rush towards you, do not be hit by them, successfully dodge the attack to get 100 points, fail to dodge and deduct 100 points, dodge successfully and launch an effective counterattack to get extra points.

This dodge training is also quite interesting, as a trainer, I need to stand in the middle of the field, dodging the rotation of the ten beasts around me, this time the black beasts are all extremely huge, three or four meters, some of them still have horns on their heads, fortunately most of them are too large and clumsy, I just need to prepare in advance, once dodge, it will be difficult for those beasts to turn and hit me.

At the same time, I got a ranged weapon in my hand, and I can get a chance to attack every time I dodge successfully, but this opportunity is very short-lived, because the beasts will quickly turn their heads once the attack fails, and the system defaults to the proof of these beasts that cannot be penetrated, so only in the few seconds when the beast does not turn around after the dodge is successful, there is a chance for me to counterattack.

In my opinion, this training is not too difficult, at least it is easy to dodge.

Only a few of the smaller ones were more difficult to dodge and were hit twice.

It's a bit difficult to dodge the additional attack.,The long-range weapon I chose is the bow and arrow.,If the bow and arrow shoot a fixed target, I'm still very sure.,But pulling the bow and aiming and releasing the arrow will be completed in another two or three seconds and hit the target.,That's a little bit more difficult for me.,I only shot twice out of eight dodging counterattacks.。

In the end, he scored 900 points.

I spent more than two hours,I played all the training in one go,The more I play, the more I feel very cool,Although these training modes have no plot,There are no exaggerated combat effects,It feels more like a small game,But this is a holographic virtual game after all.,It's completely hands-on.,It's quite enjoyable to play.。

I mastered the gameplay and played it several times, I wanted to hit the high score, I found that I was still very talented, all the items were higher than the average score, I focused on training slashing practice and long-range weapon practice, because I found that these two items I am the most talented, probably because I have learned the relationship between swordsmanship and bow and arrow, I feel very handy to play, the highest score of this training project is 3750 points, and I have taken 3100 points at most once, I feel that no matter how hard I work, I am expected to hit the first position.

I also scored very well in ranged weapon training, with a maximum score of 4150, and I also scored more than 3,000 points.

However, I haven't had enough of it, and it's time to train.

The sound of the system rang in my ears.

Your training is coming to an end, ready to exit the program – 10, 9, 8...
