Chapter IV: Horror in the Detention Center

When questioned by the police officer, I didn't think anything of it, but I was caught in the hand, and I didn't mind it very much.

With a slight force, I withdrew my hand: "My grandmother was gouged out of her heart, and this blood is hers." ”

The villagers still muttered to themselves that I had killed my grandmother, and some even added fuel to the fire, saying that I had gone crazy at night, and heard our grandparents and grandchildren shouting.

However, the officer did not seem to believe what they said, and instead took the men inside and began his investigation.

The photos were taken one after another, and the minifigures carefully surveyed every corner of my house. As for the officer, he took me aside and looked me in the eye.

"You don't seem to be reacting violently to your grandmother's death." He spoke lightly, his amber eyes full of inquiry.

I looked back at him without hesitation: "Grandma said that people will eventually die. ”

He asked me other questions, such as where I had been and what I had done last night.

I was a little hesitant, and to be honest, I didn't know if what I experienced yesterday was a dream or a reality.

If it was a dream, then when did my grandmother come back, and who crept into my house and killed her?

When he saw that I did not answer, he took my fingerprints and asked me to go back with them to cooperate with the investigation. From what they had discovered, no footprints were found. In such a strange scene, the person can only be carried away first, and the next step can be done after the autopsy.

I watched as they covered her with a white cloth and carried her out, and then got into the car after the officer. The people in the village were still there watching, pointing at me, and they didn't have to listen to what they were trying to say.

My yard was cordoned off and no one was allowed to enter or leave. I can't tell you what it feels like to watch the village I grew up in gradually leave my vision.

Since my grandmother died a strange death, no outsiders were found at the scene, and there was no trace of a fight in the house, I became the biggest suspect. It's just that I refuse to admit it, and the police don't have any evidence, so they can only temporarily detain me, but they can't do anything to me.

I sat alone in the room of the detention center, playing with the piece of blood jade on my chest, and when I was a child, I would tell it whenever I had something on my mind, and since that bizarre dream yesterday, I have been a little afraid of it.

As the clock approached midnight, the ticking of the hands became louder and louder, even harsh, and there was always a feeling that something was going to happen.

The guard who was guarding me suddenly got up from his seat, and I thought he was going to pour water, but his body did not move, but his head was twisted at an extremely strange angle.

My eyes widened as I saw that his face was dark, the whites of his eyes were rolled up, and his mouth looked as if he had been cut open with a knife. His white molars bared on either side of his cheeks, and an eerie grin came out of his mouth.

Swallowing violently, I don't know if he wanted to eat me, but kept praying that the bulletproof glass in the detention center was of good quality.

"Finally...... Found ......" The voice in the guard's mouth was cold, and it did not belong to him. He turned slowly, but kept his head fixed on me, and only when he was completely facing me did he take a stiff step and raise his hand towards me.

"Smack! Syllable! Syllable! He quickly came to the bulletproof glass, slapped his palms one by one, and pressed his whole face against it, his tongue sticking out, along with his teeth, constantly gnawing on it, making unpleasant sounds.

Subconsciously, I clenched the piece of blood jade on my body, and my body was tightly pressed against the wall. It's so late, there must not be so many people in the police station, and if I am killed by this zombie-like monster, I wonder if the surveillance system in the corner will record it truthfully.

"Kalala", the bulletproof glass shattered into slag under the blow, and the guard let out a strange laugh and grabbed at me with his open hand.

"Don't come here!" I waved my arms desperately to drive away, but he grabbed me.

"A once-in-a-millennium female ...... Finally found ......," he whispered, opening his mouth and biting down on my neck.

I closed my eyes in despair, let out a scream, and a stream of cold liquid poured out of my neck, wetting half of my body from top to bottom.
