Text North Key, the orphan girl of freedom.

My name is Su Jiu'er and I am a junior high school student at Loach Middle School.

Loach Secondary School is the only secondary school on the North Key. The North Key is a small island where there are no rich and noble people, and almost all of the children of poor families study at Loach Secondary School. How poor is it? To put it simply, these people can't afford to eat vegetables and grains at all, and have to live on things like lobsters, king crabs, and oysters and sea cucumbers from the sea.

And I'm miserable, I can't even afford the cheapest lobster and abalone, so I can only eat by catching fish and rice. What you eat at each meal depends entirely on luck, and if you want to see which fish and shrimp that don't have long eyes are caught by me, then it will be my breakfast or lunch.

But even so, my classmates still envy me, because I have no one to control, I am free, and I can do whatever I want. No one cares if I skip class, no one cares if I don't finish my homework, and no one cares about fights.

Every time I proudly whistled in front of them with a 0-point exam paper, they always looked at me with a look of contempt but actually envy. Because I do what they want to do but don't dare to do.

The nasty conch sound of class is loud again.

The third class was a history lesson, and the old mermaid lady I hated came to teach us again, with that thick history textbook of "The Land of Waves".

This old lady's surname is Dai, and we all call her Teacher Dai. It is said that she is the type of hairtail fish in the mermaid family, and she is the king of the hairtail fish.

She also looks like a royal ribbon fish, thin and tall, almost three meters tall, every time she enters the classroom, she has to bend down and bow her head, like a hole into the classroom. I'm happiest when it's like this, because it's funny to see her wearing glasses and bending over to hold her breath. So every time she struggled to get into the classroom, I couldn't help but laugh, and the other students didn't dare. Because the teacher will inform their parents to teach them, and I don't have parents, I don't have to care about her at all.

Teacher Dai also knew that she couldn't do anything about me, so she didn't bother with me every time I laughed. But even so, I didn't love her classes. The reason is that I know everything she says. It is no exaggeration to say that I can memorize the history book of the country of waves in her hand, and I am familiar with any passage I know, and I can even tell many wild histories and allusions that she doesn't know.

The reason why I turned in the blank paper for the history exam was purely out of a hobby, and I liked to see the envy of my classmates, and then I walked away majestically in their envious eyes.

While Mr. Dai was struggling to drill into the classroom, I rolled over and jumped onto the playground through the window next to me.

Our school's playground is half sandy and half large pool. There are several classes of students who are practicing jumping, climbing and swimming under the guidance of their teachers. I walked out of front of them in a big way.

"Look, that girl skipped class again." A group of people in the bazaar were pointing at me. I could hear them talking, but I didn't bother to talk to them.

"Su Jiu'er, are you skipping class again?" An old man with gray hair asked me with a smile. This old man's surname is Shan, and I call him Uncle Shan. He was nice to me, and he gave me the oil and salt that I usually use to cook fish. And he often sent me precious fresh water to drink.

"Well, I'm going to the beach and try my luck. If you're unlucky, you'll have to eat dried fish at noon. I laughed.

"Go ahead, catch a fish and come back early, I heard there is a hurricane this afternoon." Shan Bo said.

"yes, I see."

The salty sea breeze blows in your face, and seagulls and herons chirp happily and loudly on the surface. This beach is my favorite place, every time I come here, I feel very happy, especially when the sun is shining, and listening to the singing of seabirds will immediately brighten your mood.

I threw off my clothes, revealing a tight blue leather suit made of sea wolf skin, and plunged into the sea.

The water near the beach was shallow, and there were no big fish, so I swam twice in the shallow sea and swam towards the deep sea. As soon as I dived to five or six meters, I saw a young guinea fish, which looked like it weighed about five or six pounds. This thing has thick skin, no fish scales and no bones, and a relatively small fishy smell, which is my favorite guy. I quickly swam behind it and swam towards it, trying to grab it when it wasn't looking. Who would have thought that just as I was reaching out to grab it, a rock suddenly fell from the water and slammed it towards me.

The stone immediately alarmed the young guinea fish, and it slipped away with a wave of its tail. I was so angry that I grabbed the rock and came to the surface to see who had thrown it down and scared my lunch away.

When I surfaced, there was no one on the water. This puzzled me very much, there was no one on the sea, where did this stone come from?

Just when I was in a daze, I suddenly heard several gunshots above my head, and I quickly raised my head, only to see an airship parked in the air above me. The hatch of the airship was open, and several strange men sat at the entrance of the hatch, holding a few guns in their hands, and the muzzles of the black holes were pointed at my location. My head was cold, and I quickly plunged into the water.

As soon as I got into the water, I felt a burning pain in my right arm like a pinprick, and I realized that I was injured. The skin of his right arm was probably scratched by the bullet just now, and some blood flowed out. After being soaked in the water, I felt the pain like a pinprick in the water.

However, at this moment, something unexpected happened.

The blood that flowed from my right arm seeped into the sea, and was sucked up by the yellow stone I was holding in my right hand. The blood was originally in the sea, but I don't know when it turned into a thin wisp of water, flowing like a stream of water towards the yellow stone.

After the stone had sucked my blood, some strange textures suddenly appeared on the surface, as if it were an ancient script. Then the stone suddenly shattered, shattering into a very fine grain of yellow sand, which burrowed into my body. Then, a sharp pain came from every part of my body, and it felt like my whole being was about to shatter to pieces. I stiffened and sank to the bottom of the sea.

My eyelids grew heavier and heavier, and I took one last look out to sea in the gap between my eyes, with only one thought in my mind:

"Am I going to die?"
