Chapter Seventy-Seven: Trapped on the Third Floor
"What to do? It's full of zombies out there! β
Tony reluctantly walked to the door, and Michelle asked him anxiously.
At this time, the four of them locked themselves in the lobby of the nightclub, just as Edward had imprisoned them. The door was smashed by zombies, and Yaya and Amamiya hugged each other in fear, not knowing what to do.
Albe and the others have escaped from Wonderland, and there is nothing Albe can do about Michelle and his party who are trapped here.
In the face of the terrifying corpse tide, everything is vulnerable, and all they can do is run for their lives.
Tony is still a little weak on all fours and is basically unable to help. The weapons were also taken away by others, and the four of them had to rely on the machete in Michelle's hand.
Tony's brow furrowed, digesting the situation in front of him. What to do? What to do!?
Although the wooden doors of the hall are much stronger than the glass doors, no one knows how long they will last. And if the zombies don't disperse, then the situation is even more dangerous!
These zombies outside the door will attract more of their kind, and it is only a matter of time before the gate is broken.
I can't stay here anymore!
"Let's go! Go up to the second floor! Tony took the machete from Michelle's hand and ran with the three girls towards the inner staircase of the hall.
It has been said before that the Wonderland Hall has an internal staircase. When Lily and the others were locked up in the hall, the stairs were locked by Edward's gang. Later, these locks were under Richard's hands, and it didn't take a few clicks for them all to be opened.
The happy Li Fat Man also boasted that he was very reliable as a soldier. Since then, the stairs have never been locked, just in case, leaving a way to escape.
The gate is now blocked, and listening to the movement outside the door knows that this is no joke. So Tony chose to go to the second floor to see if there was any hope of escape.
As he was about to reach the second floor, Tony motioned for the girls behind him to speak softer. Tony cautiously poked his head into the hall on the second floor.
Tony: They're lucky. Most of the zombies chased out of the nightclub and joined the crowd of corpses outside. The rest of the group of zombies were guarding the door of the hall on the first floor, so the second floor was clean, and there were not a single zombie.
Tony whispered to the window that had been broken by the Thomas brothers and looked out.
"Your grandfather's, is this a 10,000-person conference?" Tony scolded frustratedly.
It seems that it is impossible to escape through the window, and if you go out, you will be gnawed directly to the point that there is no slag left. The four of them had no choice but to continue creeping to the top of the stairs.
There are no zombies in the front hall, and it seems that the zombies in the nightclub are concentrated at the entrance of the hall. But it was impossible for a few of them to escape through the gate, and the back door was nailed inside and out. They're stuck in Wonderland!
Seeing the wide open door of the nightclub, Albe and the others must have escaped. I don't know if they are dead or alive now, and I hope they won't be swallowed up by the tide of corpses.
Michelle said helplessly: "I think, we can only go to the third floor." β
Tony nodded, motioning for the others to continue quietly moving forward. The third floor is also peaceful, and there is not a single zombie. The four of them hurriedly hid in the same room where Toms had been hiding.
After locking the door, Tony had time to take a look at the room. Tony was still sleeping on the ground floor when he was dealing with Toms before, so this was his first time here. There were no windows in the study, and the room wasn't huge, but it was big enough for the four of them.
This room is supposed to be a manager's lounge, with a bed, a table, chairs, and two large bookshelves. The shelves are full of all kinds of books, and I don't know if this nightclub manager really loves to read, or if he uses it for façade.
"Are you alright?" Yaya saw that Tony's face was not good, and asked with concern.
"I'm fine, don't worry!" With a stubborn answer, Tony and the others moved a bookshelf to the door, blocking the only exit.
"By the way, what about the others?"
Tony was lying in the hall and couldn't see the condition of the antechamber. He was in a hurry to escape for his life just now, so Michelle and the others didn't have a chance to tell him about the situation.
"I'm not sure, before the zombies rushed into the antechamber, I rushed back to the hall and locked the door. But just now I saw the door of the nightclub open, Albe and the others must have escaped. Michelle sat down in his chair, gestured to the bed, and added, "You'd better lie down and rest." β
"In this situation, I have to protect the three of you girls, how can there be any time to rest." Tony shook his head and rejected Michelle's kindness.
"Tony." As she spoke, Michelle snatched Tony's machete back.
Tony was afraid of hurting Michelle, so he let her take the machete.
"Since you know we need to rely on you now, you'd better lie down now." Michelle walked to the door and sat down against the bookshelf, "I'll keep it for today, and we'll rely on you tomorrow, Tony." β
Tony did feel that his body was a little weak, and looked at Michelle's resolute eyes, so he had to nod and lie on the bed.
Two Japanese girls also sat on the floor next to them, and the room fell silent.
Time passed very quickly, and in the blink of an eye it was night. Tony slept all afternoon, and all three of them found a book they liked, and passed the boring afternoon by reading it.
There are still voices of corpses outside the nightclub, and I don't know if these corpses have been circling the city, if that's the case, Tony and they may not be able to escape from this Wonderland for a while.
At this point, Tony's stomach growled twice. He sat up embarrassedly and lay down for a day, really a little hungry.
"I'll go out and get something to eat." Tony stood up and walked over the bookshelf.
"No, I just went out to see it. The zombies in the nightclubs and on the street have not dispersed, and there is no food at all. Michelle stopped Tony.
"Okay, I knew I brought those backpacks with me when I came up just now." Tony reluctantly sat back on the bed. Although he is a foodie, he doesn't want to die because of it. It doesn't matter if you die, but who will take care of these three girls? That's it, just starve!
The backpacks in Tony's mouth are the food that Li Fat and the others have found in the past few days, enough for the four of them to eat for many days. Unfortunately, those backpacks were left in the hall.
"Tony, here's for you." Amamiya pulled two Snickers out of his pocket and handed them to Tony, whose stomach kept screaming.
"How can I eat your food, and you have not eaten. I'm a big man, and I can carry hunger better than you. Tony hurriedly waved his hand and refused.
Amamiya placed the two Snickers on the bed and turned to sit back beside Yaya.
"Amemiya, your Snickers"
"It's your Snickers."
