Chapter Eighty-Seven: Thor Intrudes
After making contact, Harry didn't get the results he expected, and no matter what kind of magic was put on Thor's hammer, Harry was sure that this very powerful hammer still belonged to Thor, and even Thor might not be able to pick it up now.
Harry secretly scolded Odin, the old fox, in his heart, and completely gave up on the idea of picking up bargains for Mjölnir.
With both hands gripping Mjölnir's hammer tightly, Harry crushed his legs the ground a few times, exhaled, and began to build up his strength.
Can't pick up the cheap, Harry's interest in the hammer has decreased a lot, but since he proposed to try to pick up the hammer, he has to try.
"Whew, whew-" With a few long exhales, Harry began to lift it up hard.
"Ahh The veins on his exposed arms burst out, and his knuckles turned white from the exertion, but he didn't move the hammer even with all his might.
"Whew-" The strength has reached its peak, but even if Harry quietly uses the power of infinite anger, he can't pick up the hammer, because his physical fitness can't use the power of infinite anger with all his strength, and if he continues, he will hurt his body, Harry had no choice but to let go of the hammer, took two steps back, and began to gasp for breath.
"I can't pick it up at all, it's like it's connected to the ground," Harry said as he reached out to wipe the sweat from his forehead and said to Phil Coulson, who was smiling. It was Harry's first attempt to use all the strength he could use now, but even though Harry had already stepped into two deep holes in the ground, he didn't shake the hammer.
"Yes, our researchers have tried all sorts of things, but nothing about it," Phil Coulson said, tilting his head.
"Well, is there anything associated with this hammer? I don't think the hammer landed here by accident or something, there must be something you didn't notice," Harry asked Coulson, pulling his foot out of the pit.
Harry vaguely remembered that Thor was supposed to be with Dr. Jane Foster, physicist Eric Selvig, and Jane's trainee, and Harry's guess was that tonight would be the time for Thor to appear.
"Well, there are a few people, and we got our current record of the aurora on the night of the hammer's appearance," Phil Coulson thought for a moment, then replied to Harry.
"I have a gut feeling that those people must have something to do with this," Harry swore as he knew what he knew, with a speculative expression.
"Well, I'll get people to pay attention to them," Phil Coulson said after listening to Harry's words, thinking about it for a moment.
Regardless of whether Phil Coulson sent someone to spy on him or not, after a lot of twists and turns, Thor finally got into Jane Foster's car and began to make his way to the location of Thor's hammer.
Maybe by the time the S.H.I.E.L.D. people found them, Thor was already here.
……
Phil Coulson has a lot of things to attend to, or to report to Nick Furui. He just stayed with Harry in the Quake pit for a while before leaving, allowing Harry to take a look and show his friendliness as he went.
Harry had only turned around for a moment and was not interested in turning again, and in fact there was nothing that interested him here except Mjolnir for Mjolnir.
Sitting in the lab, Harry dangled the glass, the brown drink in it rippling through the mouth of the cup, but not a drop spilled out, all the way to the rim of the cup and then back into the cup. This kind of skill in strength and wrist swing is only recently achieved by Harry, and the subtle use of mental power has given him a great degree of control over his physical strength.
It's a bit boring to watch these scientists who have turned on the madman mode walking back and forth in various instruments, sorting out the data on the hammer every period of time, trying to unravel the secrets of this mysterious hammer. But the interest in Thor forced Harry to wait here again, even if he was already drowsy.
By this time it was already dark, and it was gradually entering the night.
"Huh?"
Harry, who was originally sleepy, suddenly opened his eyes, and just now, the magnetic field in the air suddenly changed, and he became a lot more irritable.
"It must be Thor coming," Harry said in his heart, and at the same time, his mental power swept in all directions, and sure enough, he found a man and a woman's mental detection image behind a small hill not far from here.
Putting down the cup, Harry straightened his clothes, sat up from his chair, and walked out of the research room.
"Hey! Someone's coming," Harry looked up, his hands formed into microphones, and shouted to the height where Hawkeye Barton was.
Harry's shout to Barton was naturally heard by the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents here, but they didn't react to Harry's words, just glanced in Harry's direction and continued to guard their defensive range, but even so, they were still a little wary of Harry's words.
Hawkeye bared his head at this, glanced down at Harry deeply, and then turned around and disappeared from Harry's sight.
Turning around, he pressed his headset and started a conversation with Phil Coulson, who was the commander of the mission.
"Coulson, Osborne said someone is coming, be careful" Patton's hand holding the folding bow shook and opened his bow, and with the other hand pulled an arrow from the quiver behind his back, and said to Phil Coulson through the earphone as he put the arrow on the bow.
"Okay, I got it."
On the other side, Phil Coulson frowned at Patton's words and said. Then pressed, and the call ended.
Phil Coulson immediately ordered the agents to be more vigilant after listening to Patton's words, he trusted Harry's words very much, after all, Harry's skills were well laid out there, since Harry said that someone was coming, someone must be coming.
Sure enough, soon there was a situation outside.
The silence was broken by a cacophony of sounds, followed by a muffled sound of blows. At this moment, an agent in a suit trotted in from outside in a panic.
"What's going on out there?" Phil Coulson asked with a frown as he looked at the tall, strong blonde man who had beaten the agents to a terrible mess inside the surveillance.
"Sir, someone is out there forcing in, and his target seems to be the hammer," the agent replied immediately.
"Hammer?" Phil Coulson's eyes flashed, as if he had thought of something.
