Tibetans

Liu Yimiao and the others went to Lhasa in a supply vehicle from the military region, and then transferred to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.

The Potala Palace is located on the Maburi Mountain in the northwest of Lhasa, which is the highest altitude in the world, a magnificent building integrating palaces, castles and monasteries, and is also the largest and most complete ancient palace and fortress complex in Tibet.

The Potala Palace was first built by the Tibetan Dynasty Zampu Songtsan Gampo to marry Princess Qizun and Princess Wencheng. In 1645, the protector of the Qing Dynasty and the Shute Khanate, Gushi Khan, and the regent of the Gelug sect, Sonam Qunpei, rebuilt the Potala Palace, which became the residence of the winter palace of the Dalai Lama, as well as the place where major religious and political ceremonies were held, and the place where the spiritual pagoda of the Dalai Lama was enshrined.

Liu Yimiao and the others first arrived at the Potala Palace Square, which is the highest city square at the highest altitude. It is a free place, with the Monument to the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet in the center of the square, Yaowang Mountain in the west, and a relief wall on the south side. The relief walls show the past and present of Tibet, and there are thirteen in total. The whole square is 600 meters long from east to west and 400 meters wide from north to south, and can accommodate 40,000 people to hold large-scale gatherings.

After visiting the square, they went to the Potala Palace to the north. The Potala Palace is built on the mountain, with overlapping buildings and magnificent momentum.

The first thing I saw was the "Snow City", which was home to the offices of the former Tibetan government, such as the court, the Printing Institute, and other palace auxiliary facilities such as workshops and stables.

Then go to the White Palace, named after the white walls of the outer palace, which is the winter palace of the Dalai Lama and the seat of the office of the former Tibetan government, which is seven stories high. The oldest building inside is the Fawang Cave, which enshrines the statues of Songtsen Gampo for himself and Princess Wencheng and Princess Chizun.

The main building of the Red Palace is the spiritual pagoda hall of the Dalai Lama of all ages, and there are five in total.

Liu Yimiao and the others also saw many lamas chanting sutras in the hall, completely ignoring the passing tourists, and they were very pious. The tourists also subconsciously lowered their voices, looked inside curiously for a while, and then left.

Liu Yimiao also felt very sacred, and pulled Lei Dajun to worship together.

After visiting the Potala Palace and taking a lot of photos, Lei Dajun took her to a Tibetan home, and hired a car for their convenience, which bought a lot of food, children's school supplies and clothes, and of course, tents for camping in the wilderness.

Lei Dajun said while driving, "During the Sino-Indian War, the adults and children of this family supported the transportation of materials for our troops, and the child was only eight years old at the time, named Tashi, carrying dozens of catties of supplies, and crossed the snowy mountains to send us things, and his hands were cracked a lot, and I asked his address at that time." Unexpectedly, I was injured on the battlefield, and then I was so busy that I never had a chance to see him, and he doesn't know if he has moved now. ”

Liu Yimiao comforted: "As long as you know the name, you can find out." ”

Lei Dajun drove the car to a village, and the children of the village surrounded him, and they also learned Chinese, so they asked, "Guest, who are you looking for?" ”

Lei Dajun described Tashi's age and address, and luckily Tashi still lives here. The children brought Lei Dajun to Tashi's doorstep. Liu Yimiao gave the children a handful of candy, and after they took it, they quickly thanked them and dispersed. Some children watched Liu Yimiao and them from a distance while eating candy.

Lei Dajun greeted the people in the room in Tibetan, and after a while an old man came out.

The old man didn't recognize Lei Dajun at first, and Lei Dajun described the scene to Tashi. Tashi fell into deep memories, and after a while, he turned out the appearance of Lei Dajun at that time from the distant memories, compared it, and said excitedly, "It's you, I can speak Chinese, do you feel pain?" ”

Lei Dajun pulled Liu Yimiao and introduced to Tashi, "This is my lover Liu Yimiao, she is a doctor, and she has cured me." ”

Tashi had great respect for the doctor, and when he heard this, he gave Liu Yimiao a salute, and Liu Yimiao hurriedly returned the salute. Tashi shouted into the house, called everyone out of the room, and greeted Liu Yimiao and the others.

When greeting guests, dip your hand in wine three times, grab a handful of barley in the grain bucket, and throw it into the air three times. Then Tashi welcomed Lei Dajun and his wife into the house and introduced the family to Liu Yimiao and them. None of Tashi's sons and daughters are here, except for his wife and grandchildren. After everyone got to know each other, Lei Dajun hurriedly ran to the trunk of the car and took out the gifts.

Tashi's family was very happy to receive the gifts, and they stayed at his house to eat. At the banquet, Tashi drank a glass of wine before everyone drank freely. The sake is barley liquor, and it is poured in a clay jug in the shape of a snow chicken. Drinking wine and eating mutton with a unique flavor, Liu Yimiao couldn't drink it after taking a sip of wine, and Tashi served Liu Yimiao butter tea. Butter tea tastes like tea and milk, much like milk tea, and Liu Yimiao still likes to drink it. After eating, Tashi made some tea for everyone.

Liu Yimiao and the others took the tea that Tashi brought to them, the color of Zang tea was translucent red, it was refreshing and hearty when drinking, and the fragrance was thick and sweet. Seeing Liu Yimiao's expression of enjoyment when they drank tea, Tashi was very happy, and said to Lei Dajun that he would pack some tea for them to take away when they left, and Lei Dajun also expressed his gratitude.

When Liu Yimiao and the others left, Tashi asked, "Distinguished guest, we have a lot of sick people here, can you stay for a few days to treat us, please." ”

Liu Yimiao nodded, "Tashi, please tell the villagers, let's live in your house, excuse me." ”

Tashi was very happy to see that Liu Yimiao agreed, and asked his wife to arrange a place for Lei Dajun and his wife, and he went to the village chief himself.

After a while, the head of the village came to see Liu Yimiao and thanked her. He took Liu Yimiao to the sick Tibetan home.

Liu Yimiao picked up the medicine box and followed the village chief.

Most of the Tibetans had gastrointestinal problems because of their poor living environment, and Liu Yimiao gave them worm pills, some prescribed simple Chinese medicine, some did acupuncture treatment, and some also did some minor surgeries.

In order to make them completely recover, Liu Yimiao asked Lei Dajun to go to Lhasa to buy medicine, and she herself also went around collecting medicine, especially Cordyceps. After the Tibetans recovered from their illness, they also sent Liu Yimiao a lot of cordyceps, but Liu Yimiao only accepted part of it, and bought the surplus with money.

Some people from other villages also heard the news, and Liu Yimiao did not refuse to come, so he stayed in the Tibetan area for two months before leaving, Tashi gave Liu Yimiao a white hada to express his gratitude, and Liu Yimiao also bent down to accept it.
