Chapter 10: The Coming Ones
"Oh, that feels, it's amazing," exclaimed Harry, jumping off his flying skateboard.
"That's inevitable," Dr. Karl said, looking back from a screen with information about the new armor.
"As long as the flying skateboard is equipped with a weapon system, it's basically like that, as for the armor suit," Harry thought for a moment and said, "Put this mask in, it's best to be able to put it on or off controlly." He handed the broken mask to Dr. Carl.
"And the recognition system I talked about earlier," Dr. Carr added.
"Yes," Harry laughed, the recognition system mainly needs to load the database, which is not a lot of trouble.
"Harry," Max, who had not spoken, suddenly shouted.
Harry looked at him and asked suspiciously, "What's wrong?" โ
"Spider-Man seems to know you," Max said.
"Ah, that's what you say," Harry suddenly realized, no wonder Max had been looking down in contemplation since he came back here.
"Spider-Man is Peter Parker, and he was my childhood friend," Harry said.
"By the way, Doctor, show me the complete gear you've designed," Harry said.
Taking off his armor and putting it back in its original hidden wallframe, Harry made his way to Dr. Carr's side.
Dr. Carr clicked on the weapon information of the flying skateboard and said, "The front end of the skateboard should also be equipped with a retractable blade, twelve miniature air-to-surface missiles, a miniature machine gun and 5,000 rounds of ammunition, and the lighting equipment and flamethrower equipment that have been installed. There are also miniature bombs that can be hidden in skateboards, and dart balls that have a tracking function and explode after a collision, all of which have specific devices in skateboards that will eject automatically if you claw the board. โ
"It's so cool," Harry said, thinking in his heart that such a similar equipment is exactly the same as the second-generation Green Goblin in the old version, and there is also the villain of the sandman, if his guess is right, then the next thing is Venom.
"Gotta go see," Harry noticed.
"And then there's the melee weapons, the blades you've used, the lightsabers you haven't made yet," Dr. Karl continued, clicking through a small knife-like file.
"Lightsaber?" Harry came back to his senses and suddenly heard this word, surprised, in his memory, the lightsblade only appeared in Star Wars, and the lightsaber in it could cut anything, I am afraid that even the hardest Edman alloy could not block the slash of the lightsaber.
"Haha, it's not what you think," Dr. Carr laughed, even in the Marvel universe there are Star Wars movies.
"The lightsaber I make has a physical blade, and there will be a switch on the hilt that activates, and when it is opened, the blade will be attached with a layer of energy, which is indestructible. Of course, since it is the time when the energy will run out, the standard configuration is three, a long sword, a short sword, and a dagger," he continued.
"Very well," Harry said, patting Dr. Karl on the shoulder.
"Doctor, I need you to check my blood for me," Harry said.
"It's easy," Dr. Carl went to his lab and pulled out a syringe and drew Harry's blood.
"I'll go up first, after all, I'm still the president of this company, and I can't leave everything to the assistant," Harry took the elevator back to the president's office.
"Turn on the system," Harimer said.
The system screen opens in front of Harry's eyes, showing his message.
Harry looked at Flint Marco's sandification ability, squinted slightly, intersected the fingers of his hands, supported his chin and thought silently, and finally made up his mind for a while.
"The system, permanently remove Flint Marco's information from the admission field, and permanently not allow it to be re-entered" Harry stood up from his chair and said firmly, although he has considered himself extraordinary since he came to this world, he has never considered himself superior, although contradictory, he thinks so, before the other titles, he first recognizes the title of human, the man of flesh and blood.
"Bell"
Just then, Felicia came to Harry's office and knocked on the door.
"Please come in," Harry sat down again.
"Mr. Osborne" Felicia seemed to be in a bit of a hurry and trotted in front of Harry.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked calmly, though he could already guess a rough idea.
"Journalists, there are a lot of reporters waiting for you outside," Felicia said.
"Do you know what's going on?" Harry asked.
"Sir, it's said to be about the two new superheroes that appeared today, the Electric Light Man and the Glider," Felicia said as she looked into Harry's eyes and paused, "The reporters say the glider is you." โ
"Oh, really?" Harry said with a smile, it looks like he was photographed.
"But what a glider is a bad name," Harry muttered to himself.
"Felicia, you go down and tell the reporters to call a press conference," Harry said, suddenly remembering the playboy and his approach to such things.
"Yes, sir," Felicia said and left.
"Glider, it sucks, I want to come up with a good name," Harry leaned back in his chair and spun in circles. "Bell bell bellโ"
The phone rang and Harry picked it up.
"What's wrong?" It's Dr. Carr.
"Harry, I've checked your blood and there's nothing wrong with it," Dr. Carr said.
"Well, I see" Harry put down the phone and began to think. He understood what Dr. Carr meant when he said that there was no problem, that his blood was no different from that of a normal person, but that was the biggest problem for Harry. In the world of Marvel, in addition to technology, superheroes' superpowers are usually achieved by genetic mutations, as is the case with Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and even mutants. But he is out of this category, although he has obtained the ability of Spider-Man, but his genes have not been mutated, just like ordinary people, but he still has superpowers.
"Maybe it's the system," Harry guessed as he stood in front of the window and looked out at the scenery.
"Bell" is Felicia.
"Please come in," Harry said.
"Mr. Osborne, I've already arranged it," Felicia said.
"Well, I see," Harry said.
"Anything else?" Harry asked, seeing that she was still standing there.
"There's a gentleman waiting for you down there," Felicia said.
"Who?" Harry said
"The man said he was in the state department," Felicia said.
"Well, let's go down and have a look," Harry said. As he got up, he threw Norman's cube that had been on the table into the desk. Felicia lowered her head slightly, and the gleam in her eyes flickered.
