Chapter 20: Norman, Dead
"It's coming out, get ready" A row of people outside the elevator pointed guns at the approaching elevator.
"Ding-" The elevator arrived, and the door slowly opened.
"Why is there no one?" The person who gave the order looked at the empty elevator hallway, and the others shook their heads at a loss.
"Dang Chang—"
With a soft sound, something rolled out of the elevator, and it turned out to be a golden spherical object.
"What is this?" The man who gave the order picked it up and asked.
The subtle sound of the "ding, ding, ding, ding" sphere came to an abrupt halt.
"Boom-" The flames burst out, blowing up the guards in all directions.
"Ahem" Harry jumped down from the elevator and reached out to sweep away the dust. When I came in, I made such a big movement, I believe that the people below will be aware of it, and the spider sense is triggered when you arrive, then there will be an ambush outside the elevator, which is also a common routine.
Norman's secret base facility is simple, there is only one road in the open, and surveillance footage is installed on both sides of the road, but Harry doesn't believe Norman would be so defenseless.
Harry took out his phone and began to scan the surrounding walls, and sure enough, he found a passage and a palmprint recognition device on the wall on the right, which was not difficult for Harry. This amazing world not only has high force, but also super technology.
The Hidden Passage is indeed in Norman's style, and the road leads to the end.
There was no light along the way, but Harry had a cell phone in his hand to illuminate it.
Harry's heart tightened, it was spider sense, and he followed the feeling to bow his head and take a step back.
"Bell-" The crisp clash of metal objects rang out.
Harry flicked the light of his phone and saw part of the figure of a man dressed in black in front of him and the blade that reflected cold light, and the man was pulling out the sword that had been inserted into the wall. Harry rolled forward, came up to the man, and kicked him out.
The man was kicked to the ground by Harry, but he also pulled the blade out of the wall, and he jumped to his feet, and with the blade he slashed twice, but Harry retreated and dodged, and he turned in the direction of the second sword and stabbed Harry, only then did Harry recognize that it was actually a Japanese katana.
Harry's head was slightly on the side, and a palm was cut on the man's wrist, and as soon as the man's hand was released, the knife fell, and Harry took it with his left hand, and the next moment, the knife was already on the man's neck.
"Who are you?" Harry took out his phone and shone it at the man, revealing that he was a Japanese ninja by the way he was masked.
"Ugh!" The man didn't say a word, but dark red blood flowed from the corners of his mouth, and his body suddenly slammed and fell to the ground.
"Dead," Harry whispered, holding the ninja's neck.
Walking on the slimy blood, Harry indifferently walked past this ninja of unknown origin, the person who fell may be a kendo master, but after all, he died at the hands of Harry, who was physically inhuman.
With no more roadblocks along the way, Harry walked into the light and came to the end.
Harry squinted slightly, quickly adjusting to the sudden rush of light into his eyes. Most of the people in this setting Harry didn't know, but he knew two people inside, Dr. Carr and Norman Osborne.
"Harry, I didn't expect us to meet so soon," the old voice came from the bed, it was Norman Osborne.
"Yes," said Harry, walking around the bed and sitting down beside Norman as he had seen Norman for the first time.
"I didn't expect us to meet again," Harry sighed as he looked at Norman, who had been completely attacked by the green disease, and he held his chest to the feeling that came to him.
"Harry, look at you, how healthy and energetic, but look at me" Norman excitedly raised his terrifying hands with green hair.
"Harry! Help me, save your father, tell me how you escaped from that terrible curse, please," Norman begged as he struggled to get up from his bed, grabbing Harry's hand.
"Of course I'll save my father," Harry said, bowing his head.
"But my father, Norman Osborne, is dead," Harry suddenly looked up at Norman, his face hideous, his words fierce and cold.
"What?" Norman was stunned.
"I say, my father, Norman Osborne, he's dead," Harry suddenly reached out and grabbed Norman by the neck, lifting him up little by little.
"Now that he's dead, how can he be here!" Harry's eyes flushed and he stood up.
"Hehehe" Norman Osborne was gradually lifted by Harry, knowing that his feet were off the ground and it was difficult to breathe, and Dr. Carr sighed helplessly.
The resentment in Harry's chest grew, and the strength in his hands grew.
"Die, Norman Osborne" Harry's eyes were full of swirling water, and his voice trembled as he stretched out his other hand and pushed it Norman's forehead.
"Click" Norman's hand hung limply, and the tears in Harry's eyes finally fell, and a gray mist slowly emerged from his chest, circling along his arm towards Norman's corpse.
"Phew-" Harry casually threw Norman back on the bed, feeling very comfortable in his clear heart.
"Doctor, let's go," Harry said, pulling the remaining spherical bombs out of his pocket.
"Hmm!" Dr. Carr replied that he had thought about what Harry would look like if he came here and saw him, either bewildered or angry, but he didn't expect it to be such a simple remark.
Harry didn't even look at Norman's body, so he threw the activated spherical bomb on Norman's bed with his back and walked towards the exit with the sound of the bomb.
A moment later, with a loud bang, the three-story building gradually collapsed.
Dr. Carr stood on Harry's skateboard, sniffed, glanced back, and sighed silently.
……
The next day, Harry arrived at the Osborne Building early and stood in front of the window in a silent daze. Norman's death touched Harry a lot, not because of the family affection that had nothing to do with him, but because he deeply felt the ruthlessness of the world.
"Harry" At this time, a hoarse voice sounded behind him, and Harry looked back and it turned out to be Max.
"What's wrong, Max," Harry asked with a smile as he sat down in front of his chair.
"I'm sorry about Mr. Norman, Harry," Max said.
"Hah! What's that, Dr. Carr? Harry affirmed.
"Yes, Harry, I hope you don't get too sad about it," Max said.
"It's okay, I'm fine," Harry said.
"Are you really okay?" Max asked, looking into Harry's eyes.
"It's okay!" Harry replied with certainty. Max still stares directly at Harry, as if trying to find out Harry's flaws.
"Bell"
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
"Please come in," Harry said.
"Mr. Osborne, here's a document for you to look at for yourself," a familiar female voice rang out as her high heels hit the ground.
