Chapter 149: Midnight Bar

Andrew didn't know when he had an extra dagger in his hand and lunged at me like crazy.

There was a pain in my lower back, but it was strange to say, according to the recovery ability of the dragon demon body, even if I was shot, the wound should have healed? But I don't have the time to care about that right now.

Andrew had rushed in front of me, stabbing me in the lower abdomen with a dagger in his hand, and I reached out with lightning and grabbed his arm, and I was ruthless in my heart, since you want to kill me on the ground, then don't blame me for being ruthless.

"Ahh Andrew let out a scream, and the dagger in his hand fell to the ground, and his entire arm was condensed into a twisted shape by me.

I grabbed him by the neck with one hand and lifted him up, Andrew's face turned red and blue, and his body kept writhing in mid-air to break free.

"Let him go, or I'll kill her right now." At this time, a cold voice came from behind me.

I looked back and saw that Elena was being pressed to the ground by the young man, whose sharp nails were pressed against Elena's throat.

"You'd better let Elena go, or I'll make your death even more ugly." I said in a cold voice.

"How about making a deal? You let Andrew go, and I'll let her go. The young man hesitated for a moment.

"Why should I release them first? What if you cheat? You release Elena first, and I'll release this bastard. I strained my hand slightly, and Andrew's mouth came out of a muffled sound, obviously on the verge of being choked out of breath by me.

"If you don't let Elena go, I'll strangle this bastard." I said coldly.

"Okay." The young man gritted his teeth and said, and then really let go of Elena.

Elena immediately stood up and quickly ran to my side, then looked at the young man with a wary expression.

"Now it's time for you to let them go." The young man said in a deep voice.

"You can't let this bastard go, he's a madman, and he'll definitely come to us again for revenge." Elena reminded.

"It's okay, this time we can settle him, and if he dares to come next time, it will be purely his own death." As soon as I finished speaking, I threw Andrew, who was already unconscious, at the young werewolf.

"Thank you, you're very trustworthy." The young werewolf said after a moment of silence.

"Get out of here." I said coldly.

The young werewolf carried Andrew's head and left without looking back.

"Let's go, let's get out of here too." Looking at the rotten flesh and blood stains on the carriage, I decided to get out of here quickly.

Elena and I pretended to be fine, went to the other car and got off at the next stop, then changed to another subway and headed straight for the West Side of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is heavily divided into East and West, with the East Side not looking very prosperous, while the West Side has the appearance of a bustling metropolis, with busy streets, skyscrapers, and pedestrians walking in a hurry.

Elena took me to a taxi to a bar called Midnight, which was strangely hidden between two skyscrapers and had a sign in front of it.

"This bar is only open to members, and those who enter it do so at their own risk." I said with a frown.

Elena only knew about the bar, but she hadn't been there, and she shook her head to show that she knew.

I pulled the door open and found it locked inside, so I knocked on the door, and a moment later the small secret door on the door was opened by a crack.

"The bar is closed during the day, come back in the evening." The man slammed the small secret door shut.

Elena and I couldn't help but wonder if we were going to stay here until the evening. But luckily, it was almost dusk, so Elena and I asked for something at a nearby fast-food restaurant and ate while it got dark.

At this time, my phone rang, and to my surprise, the person who called was the airport customs, and called to tell me that the salute had been found, God, this is a great thing for me, the main thing is my money and bank card, with money I can move to a slightly better apartment.

As night fell, Elena and I went to the bar, and this time the bar was finally open, and we both pushed the door open and entered.

There were already more than a dozen people in the bar who didn't know what they were talking about, but after Elena and I walked in, the bar suddenly became quiet.

"You're not welcome here, please get out." A tall man with a scar on his face said.

"Isn't this the Witcher Guild?" I asked, frowning.

"Oh? Do you want to sign up as a witcher? The tall man said.

"yes." I nodded.

The bar exploded, and the men walked up curiously, surrounding Elena and me.

"Kid, are you sure you're in the wrong place? There's an adolescent health center just down the block. Someone teased.

"yes, you're in the wrong place, boy." Someone else said disdainfully.

"Hey, this girl seems to be a werewolf? What a bold man, no owner dares to come here? How about you, do you want me to be your owner? I'm going to take care of you. A drunken man put his hand on Elena's shoulder.

Elena, visibly frightened, tugged at my clothes with her hand.

"Take your hands away." I said coldly.

"Yo, my temper is not small, what if I don't take it away?" The drunk had apparently drunk a lot.

"See, this little guy didn't even have any hair and ran to be a witcher, so let's go back to school and study." Someone scoffed.

"Hahaha." The onlookers burst into laughter.

"Believe it or not, I'm going to blow you up and this bar?" I said in a cold voice.

"Come on, come on." A group of drunken witchers followed.

"Fake, you drunkards, get me back to your table, and I'll kick anyone out of the bar who dares to talk nonsense." The tall man cursed loudly.

"Cut, Sam, I said you were excited, we were just joking with the rookie, let's go, Boss Sam is angry." The crowd, as if they were scared of Sam, went back to their tables and continued to drink.

"You two come with me." A tall man named Sam led Elena and me to one of the rooms.
