……

At about 21 o'clock on April 14, 2010, the OceanAlexander 120 yacht of China's Ocean University on a scientific research mission lost contact in the waters near 160 degrees west longitude and 40 degrees south latitude, with a total of 15 people on board, including 12 Chinese citizens, 2 American citizens and 1 Japanese citizen; After the accident was reported, the New Zealand Maritime Authority and the French Tahiti Maritime Authority began a maritime search and rescue operation on April 15, 2014. 【Accident Investigation】

1. Survivor's oral record (the following information is compiled according to the survivor Lin Fan's narrative):

On April 14, 2010, the Ocean Alexander 120 yacht sailed south after completing the scientific research mission, and the tsunami signal was interrupted at night, sailing into a sea area full of floating corpses.

In order to avoid sucking into the vortex with the ship, the crew on board escaped on three inflatable boats, but in the process of escaping, Li Dong, a professor at Ocean University of China, and Linda Dennis, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, insisted on staying on the boat and lost contact with others.

A total of 13 people (including survivors) escaped on three inflatable boats, but then the three inflatable boats were swept away by huge waves, and the last survivors Lin Fan was on the same boat, including Professor Nishimura Xiong of the University of Tokyo in Japan, and Li Jia, Mao Fei, and Jia Jun, students of Ocean University of China.

In the early morning of the 15th, when the inflatable boat of the survivors was searching for two other ships at sea, they encountered a huge unidentified creature, and the survivors excitedly claimed that this creature was huge in size, with red scales all over its body, suspected to be a giant sea snake, and the sea snake attacked the survivors' inflatable boat and caused the ship to sink.

When the Survivors regained consciousness, they were on the outskirts of the Tahiti Islands and were nowhere to be found, but the Survivors claimed that he had seen a humanoid creature on the reef beach off the coast of the islands, with webbed limbs and a face similar to a Maori mask he was carrying, which had since dived into the water and never reappeared.

2. Medical examination report on survivor Lin Fan

(1) The survivors were not physically damaged, and there were residual energy radioactive substances on their bodies, but no pathological features had been found;

(2) EEG showed that the survivors' cranial nerves had been impacted, the activity of the cerebral cortex was significantly enhanced, and the frequency of brain waves was disordered.

3. Progress of accident search and rescue

(1) The search for the accident vessel

The New Zealand Maritime Administration and the French Tahiti Maritime Administration dispatched a maritime search and rescue ship to the accident area at 16 o'clock on April 15 to conduct search and rescue, and notified all passing ships within 300 nautical miles of the sea area to pay attention to floating objects and people who fell into the water, and the search and rescue operation was until April 21, no suspected accident victims were found, no wreckage of the accident ship was found, and no black box signal of the accident ship was received, and then the rescue team increased the search range to 500 nautical miles, and as of April 29, no suspected accident victims were found. No wreckage of the accident vessel was found, and no black box signal was found.

(2) Environmental investigation of the accident area

A submarine earthquake was detected at about 20:40 on April 14 at 195 degrees east longitude/37 degrees south latitude, and the cause of the earthquake was the movement of nearby submarine plates.

Radioactive materials were detected in the seawater of the accident area, and it was preliminarily judged that energy radiation had occurred in the sea area;

(3) Search for unknown organisms

During the search and rescue process, no floating corpses of the huge white half-human and half-fish creatures described by the survivors were found, nor did they find a giant serpentine creature that resembled them, but a large number of marine corpses were found in the waters near 160 degrees west longitude and 40 degrees south latitude.

【Analysis of the cause of the accident and conclusion】

1. The main reason

According to the analysis, the main cause of the accident was a huge tsunami caused by an undersea earthquake, which engulfed the accident ship sailing in the nearby sea area, causing a shipwreck.

2. Secondary causes

The submarine earthquake was accompanied by energy radiation and electromagnetic wave pulses, which caused a large number of marine life deaths in the nearby waters, and the electromagnetic wave pulses caused the communication system of the accident ship to be interrupted, resulting in the delay of rescue operations and the small chance of survival of the victims.

3. Special instructions

Regarding the unidentified creatures in the sea described by the survivor Lin Fan, the investigation team believes that the energy radiation and electromagnetic wave pulses caused by the submarine earthquake caused an electromagnetic energy impact on the brains of the survivors, causing the survivors to hallucinate and imagine that they had encountered huge humanoid creatures and sea dragons.

……

After reading the report, Ambassador Yu Qiang took a sip of the black tea in the cup, closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair, when suddenly the phone in front of his desk rang.

"Hello?" The ambassador picked up the microphone and said.

"Ambassador, a Mr. Deng from Bureau 749 has come to look for you." A gentle female voice came from the microphone

"Let him in."

After a while, there were several knocks on the door of the ambassador's office, "Please come in!" Ambassador Yu Qiang shouted.

The door opened, and a beautiful young female secretary in a gray suit walked into the office with a tall, thin man in a beige trench coat and a peaked cap.

"Ambassador, this is Mr. Deng from the 749 Bureau." The female secretary introduced.

Ambassador Yu Qiang stretched out his hand to the tall and thin man and smiled: "I have heard the name of Inspector Deng for a long time, it is really better to see it than to hear it!" Please take a seat~~"

The tall and thin man shook his hand lightly, and sat down in the swivel chair in front of the ambassador's desk, taking off the cap on his head, folding it in half and pinching it in his hand.

The ambassador looked at the man in front of him and muttered in his heart, "I heard Deputy Hall Xu of the 749 Bureau say that this person usually only takes on cases that others can't move, and this single thing actually led him over directly, I have to be careful." After thinking about it, he said to the female secretary on the side: "Xiao Gan, you go out first, I have something to talk about with Inspector Deng." ”

Xiao Gan immediately turned around and left, and closed the door when he went out.

Ambassador Yu Qiang sat down and said to the man in front of him: "The bureau has asked the famous Inspector Deng to come out in person, and it seems that he attaches great importance to this incident." ”

The tall and thin man was indifferent to the ambassador's compliment, and said coldly: "Ambassador Yu, how is the investigation of the accident now?" ”

Ambassador Yu Qiang handed over the investigation report before the case and said, "This is the latest accident investigation report, you might as well take a look." ”

The tall and thin man took the report with one hand and began to look at it, his eyes were deep and his face was thin, but his gaze was like an eagle, sharp and resolute. He read the report quickly, and after a while, he closed it with one hand and put it back in front of the desk.

"How? Inspector Deng, what do you think of this incident after reading it? Ambassador Yu Qiang asked.

As if he hadn't heard his question, the tall and thin man said directly, "Where is that student now?" ”

“…… Uh, did you say the survivor? Ambassador Yu Qiang was a little dissatisfied with the tall and thin man's unkind attitude, but he still said: "He is in the hotel in Tahiti, and I have arranged for someone to take care of him." ”

"Take me to him." The tall and thin man said.
