In the larger youth hostels in Lhasa, each family will have a large multi-person room, ranging from a dozen to thirty beds, which is the common name

"Madhouse". Most of the residents are all strange, and the atmosphere inside is often otherworldly. If you want to experience the taste, you have to book in advance, otherwise you can't stay.

The beds in the "madhouse" are often overcrowded. When I first entered Tibet, I lived in a youth hostel in Lhasa, which had a large room with more than 20 beds.

One night, I entered with a young man from the Northeast in the same room

"Lunatic asylum" visits. As soon as I entered the door, there was indeed a hole inside. The room was brightly lit, some people were playing tambourine, some were playing guitars and singing, a few people were getting together to discuss something, some were lying on the bed looking at the ceiling in a daze, and another girl was sitting on the bed and meditating with her eyes closed.

The young man from the Northeast said that this girl is practicing in the downtown area, and she must get twice the result with half the effort. The people in the house went their own way, and when we went in, no one looked at us.

We approached the people who were talking, and without looking back, they were discussing the question of why Tibetans didn't use the toilets.

The question was too specialized for us to interject, so we turned to the young man who was playing the guitar and singing.

The young man had just finished singing one song and was brewing the next one. The young man's eyes never took off the girl in front of him, who was lying on the bed and sleeping.

The young man from the Northeast asked curiously if the young man was singing a lullaby or a lullaby? The young man rolled his eyes and said that the girl was dreaming, and that he was now the girl's dream lover.

The young man from the Northeast wanted to ask again, but was stopped by the young man. The young man lowered his voice, let us not wake the girl, or the girl would open her eyes and see him, and she would clamoring to run naked.
