Chapter 64: The Mother of All Evils
There is nothing wrong with Leviathan being a mother, but Satan's outward manifestation is male, in fact, Satan is the demon mother who gives birth to demons, and this is what really fits his image.
The mother of all evil, the giant beast with seven heads and ten tails, was called a dragon by Europeans, but in El's eyes it was a terrible creature called a winged serpent.
"Ahh Gabriel was in the midst of the sins of the monsters, burning with his own holy light, and the sins of all things were wrapped around the body of the former Lord of Hell, and even Gabriel, the archangel, could not resist the invasion of such sins.
But it was not what Elr thought, Satan did not attack immediately, and his body fell down like a mountain.
"You're not afraid of me!" The monster was only ugly, and it didn't look mighty because of its size, which was the most unacceptable, and the black blood, as well as the foul-smelling wounds, all made people unbearable.
"I've seen something more terrible than you." El did not waver in the face of the ancient serpent, he looked at Satan, he could clearly feel how terrible Satan's power was, it was at the level of God the Father, and this was because he was seriously injured.
Otherwise, Gabriel, who is also the Father, would not be so weak in front of the Lord of Hell.
"A higher level of power, you say the dragon?" The ancient snake sneered. "I existed in Hell when it existed, and that dragon is just my junior."
The ancient snake did not have the slightest tyranny, and if it weren't for that ugly figure, I'm afraid El would have thought that he would be an elegant gentleman in front of him. But whether it's the monstrous crown that symbolizes the Seven Original Sins, or the pus and blood that stench all the time, it reminds El of what kind of existence he is facing.
Satan, the adversary, the antichrist, God's former servant and opponent, the greatest enemy of the Voice of Heaven.
Matthew 4:1-11 records the story of Satan and the voice of heaven.
At that time, Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
He fasted for forty days and forty nights, and then he became hungry.
The tempter came to him and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread." ”
Jesus replied, "It is written, 'Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" ’”
And the devil brought him into the holy city, and made him stand on the top of the temple.
Say to him, "If you are the Son of God, jump down, for it is written, 'The Lord commanded his angel for you, to bear you by the hand, so that your foot does not touch a stone.'" ’”
Jesus said to him, "It is also written, 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'" ’”
And the devil took him up to the highest mountain, and shewed him all the nations of the world, and their glory.
Say to him, "If you fall down and worship me, I will give you all these things." ”
Jesus said, "Go away, Satan." For it is written, 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'" So the devil forsook Jesus, and angels came to serve him.
Therefore, Satan is not a natural demon, he is just an angel who has turned away from God, and he is rebelling against heaven for the first time.
At the same time, Satan is portrayed in the Old Testament as an ancient serpent who will be defeated on the Judgment Day of the end of the world. Therefore, Satan has the image of a "seductress" who tempts mankind (such as tempting Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and seducing Job) and also as the king of demons to tempt mankind to sin. And all this can be seen as a test of human faith with God's acquiescence.
Satan is not only free to do evil, but also to act recklessly. At the end of the world, he will be defeated by angels such as Michael and thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, because he is the root of sin, so he will suffer the most in the lake of fire.
"You're just a pawn of him." El is not afraid of Satan, but he is extremely jealous of the existence after Satan.
And what El knows is that Satan himself is not actually good at force, but is better at demagoguery, seduction, and depravity.
"Say, Ancient Snake, what is your purpose?" El raised the spear of thunder, the infinite power in his hand condensed, and the cry of the wind was like the wailing of a ghost, but Satan did not make the slightest movement.
"I have no ill will towards you, one of the timewalkers." Satan slowly retracted his seven heads.
Satan's head is a gigantic serpent's head, but on top of it are seven broken crowns with spurs, all of which seem to have been pulled out in half, leaving only a miserable base.
This reminded El of the current situation in Hell, where the old Hell Lord had been defeated and a new kingship was emerging.
"You." El looked at Satan as he flinched, but the corners of his mouth smiled. "Running for your life!"
It stung the ancient snake's weakness all at once, and El finally knew why the ancient snake didn't choose to do it immediately in the first place.
"That's right, but so what? If I kill you and I'm leaving, that's okay too, and we can make a deal. The ancient snake's tone was mixed with intimidation and temptation. I am the Lord of Hell, and I have immeasurable wealth and power, as long as you want......."
"I don't have anything I want." But before the other party could finish speaking, El immediately interrupted the ancient snake. "And I don't think that you can bring me any benefit now that you are crippled."
The purple-red magic eye reappeared, and the powerful power of death made the ancient snake have to raise his fear of El again, and the original plan had to be temporarily put on hold.
In fact, the reason why the devil can seduce people so much is because of the greed of the human heart, but on the other hand, most of the devils are also able to give human beings what they dream of.
For example, if a beggar whose life could not be worse, if a devil appeared in front of him and said that he would exchange his soul, something that he could not see, touch, or even care about, for ten years of glory and wealth, I believe that few could resist the temptation.
However, in fact, it was indeed a wrong choice, because ten years of glory and wealth were exchanged for thousands of years of torture, and then in the flames of hell, turned into ashes, adding strength to the origin of hell.
The Serpent couldn't seduce El, for El wanted nothing, and he didn't think the bereaved dog Lord of Hell could bring him anything.
"Leave me right away, and I can act as if nothing happened." El knew that the current battle with the ancient serpent was irrational, so he chose to reconcile.
But what El didn't expect was that all this was seen by Rheinster.
