Chapter 8: Westeros Memorabilia

A century after the apocalypse of Valyria, Aegon Targaryen began his invasion of Westeros except for Dorne, where he eventually conquered and unified most of Westeros and founded the new capital, King's Landing.

Aegon's illegitimate brother Auris Baratheon slays the last Storm King, the Proud, and receives Storm's End as a fief.

This is why after the current king Robert Baratheon replaced the Targaryens as king, history does not think of a change of dynasty, but a civil war!

is like the Ming Dynasty emperor Zhu Di, who just replaced his nephew's throne. Robert Baratheon was the same, three hundred years ago as a family. If there was no such relationship, the continent of Westeros, which values commitment and bloodline, would not have been pacified so quickly.

To get back to the point, the last King of the River, Mon IV, died at the Battle of the Burning Plain, and Harlan Tyrell surrendered to Aegon and received the High Court. This is the family rise of Margaery Tyrell Little Rose.

Perhaps because of this relationship, when Robert Baratheon and Targaryen were at war, the Tyrells took the wrong side, so they looked for political understanding everywhere in the original book!

Edmin Tully of Riverrun and Vicken Greyjoy of Pike Island were appointed Administrator of Riverlands and King of the Iron Isles, respectively.

As soon as Aegon died in 37, the Order of the Seven rebelled against the Targaryens. King Innis assigned his brother Meg to deal with the crisis.

In 48 the king of the cruel Maegor died, King Jaehaerys negotiated an end to the rebellion, promising them amnesty if the Order's armed forces were disbanded, and they agreed. Jaehaerys was thus called the "arbiter". It was at this time that the Night's Watch's new realm was divided.

129-131 Dance of the Blood Dragons, Westeros' first large-scale civil war, sparked by Aegon II fighting for the Iron Throne with his half-sister Rhaenyra. Many of the small branches of the Targaryen dynasty, as well as most of the Targaryen dragons, became extinct in the conflict.

After Rhaenyra's death, the war continued in the name of her son, Aegon III. Eventually, Aegon II died without an heir, and the war came to an abrupt end, and Aegon III was crowned. This tells us that being able to give birth is also a kind of strength.

The last dragon of the Targaryens died during the reign of Aegon III, which earned him the title of "Dragon's Scourge". The dragon left behind three stone eggs, which the Targaryens were unable to hatch.

In 157-161, the "Young King" Daeron I conquered Dorne, but failed to hold it, and 40,000 people died in the war. Daeron's younger brother, King Baelor, made peace with Dorne barefoot through the bone path and rescued his cousin, Aemon the Dragon Knight, from the snake pit. This Aemon is not the current Aemon Bachelor!

161-171 reign of King Baylor, also known as the Monk King, blessed by God. Baylor built the Great Church in King's Landing, where it became known as Baylor's Great Church. Baylor locked his three sisters in the virgin dwelling of the Red Keep so that they could not seduce him into carnal desires. Despite this, his sister "Dana the Blatant Disobedience" had an affair with her cousin, Prince Aegon, and gave birth to an illegitimate son, Daemon Blackfire. The Blackfire Family has appeared!

Around 170, King Baylor's cousin, Prince Daeron, married Princess Milia Martell of Dorne, and their eldest son, Prince Baylor, was born. Preliminary marriage!

172-184 reign of King Aegon IV. On his deathbed, Aegon IV legitimized his "noble illegitimate children": Daemon Blackfire, Igor "Cold Iron" Gawain, "Blood Raven" Brynden Gawain, and "Star" Sheila all under Orthodoxy. Aegon IV's son, Daeron II, succeeded to the throne, but Daeron's legitimacy was questioned due to his mother's close relationship with the dragon knight Amon.

In 195-196, the Blackfire Rebellion broke out, ending with the killing of Daemon Blackfire by the Blood Raven during the Battle of the Red Prairie, but several of Daimon's sons fled to the Free Trade City-State with Hantie. Han Tie later established an elite mercenary army, the "Golden Regiment", which became the most formidable army in the East.

In 197, through the marriage of Dauron II's sister Daenerys to Prince Marne, Dorne was officially incorporated into the Seven Kingdoms.

Come to think of it, this is a good deal, and Dorne, who had not been captured by tens of thousands of people before, surrendered. Therefore, marriage also became a necessary means for Dorne and the king. Later on the families and Dorne had to do with this tradition!

The highlight here is the Red Viper, Oberon Martell, who had eight illegitimate daughters, known as the "Sand Snake", the youngest of whom were born to his last mistress, Ellalia Shad.

He is a bisexual. His private life is debauched, shrewd and poisonous. At the age of sixteen, he was found to be cheating on Lord Ormond Ellenwood's mistress, and the Count duel him for it.

Due to the prince's origin and age, the duel agreed to end at the sight of blood, and both were injured. A few days later, the Count of Ormond died of festering and suppurating wounds, and it was believed that Oberon had poisoned his sword, and from then on, both his opponents and friends called him the "Red Viper".

As a result of a centuries-old tradition of marriage, Oberon's sister Elia married Aegon, and Oberon Maltai was very close to his sister, and with the fall of King's Landing, he heard that his sister had been raped and murdered by the Lannister's knight, Gregor Clegane, as well as her children, and he tried to get Dorne to install Prince Viserys. Since then, his thirst for revenge has not subsided for a single day.

This is why Oberon Malte, the Red Viper, later helped Tyrion Lannister participate in the jousting trial.

Around 200 years ago, due to the lax garrison of the Night's Watch, Raymond the Redbeard, invaded the North, and the commander-in-chief of the Night's Watch was known as Sleeping Jack for his dereliction of duty.

Duke William Stark of Winterfell and Earl Hammond Amber "The Drunken Giant" flanked and annihilated the wildlings on the shores of Long Lake. Duke William was killed in battle, and his younger brother "restless" Athos ascended the throne.

The story takes place in 209 "Hired Knight". The heir to the throne, Prince Baylor the Spearbreaker, died in a jousting accident. A few months later, King Daron II and both of Baylor's sons died of the Great Spring Plague. Aerys I, the second son of Daron II, ascended to the throne. Prince Baelor's nephew, Aegon honed his character and became a squire for the hired knight "Tall Sir Duncan".

The story unfolds around 211 in Allegiance to the Swordsman. The Wibo and Osgray families of Riverbend became allies. The Blood Raven was now the Prime Minister, which angered Baelor and Aerys's younger brother, Prince Meka.

In 221-233, King Mekka began his reign after the death of Aerys without an heir, and he immediately exiled the Blood Raven to the Desperate Wall, after which the Blood Raven was chosen commander-in-chief. During Mecca's reign, his eldest son, Daeron, died of an venereal disease, his second son, Illion, died drinking wildfires, and his third son, Aemon, worked to become a bachelor in Old Town. Mekka dies in battle with the bandit leader, and Aemon rejects the crown and goes to the Wall. He's the current Maester Amon!

Prince Aegon was then crowned Aegon V because he was the fourth son of the fourth son, so he was called "the king who should not be king".

Around 255-260, the Battle of the Nine Bronze Kings broke out, in which Maris Blackfire allied with eight other landless lords to conquer the territory, with the Golden Regiment also participating. Alekho Adarius "The Golden Tongue" led them on an invasion of the Disputed Lands and captured the free trade city-state of Telosi and the Isles of the Stone Steps. Before Marith Blackfire could attack the Seven Kingdoms, Ser Barristan Selmy killed him first, and Ser Brindon Tully made a name for himself in the battle. The Golden Order was defeated, but not destroyed, and was soon re-formed in the Free Trade City-State. Six years later, Alleko was deposed by Telosi.

In the tragedy of 259-262 Midsummer Hall, in order to hatch three dragon eggs, the summer palace of House Targaryen was burned to ashes, and King Aegon V and others died. On the same day, Aegon's great-grandson, Rhaegar was born as Prince Aerys, his wife and sister Layla. Jaehaerys II succeeded Aegon and died three years later, when Aerys II was crowned and appointed the young Tywin Lannister as Prime Minister.

Around 270-280, King Aerys, the Mad King, rejected the marriage of Tywin Lannister's daughter Cersei to Prince Rhaegar and had Rhaegar marry Princess Elia Martell of Dorne. This is why the Lannisters later helped Robert Baratheon to become king. This shows the importance of marriage.

Refusing to ask for marriage is a very shameful thing, and if the young wolf lord Radish Stark had married Roslyn of the Frey family in the original book, there might not have been a bloody wedding later!

There is so much hatred in history because of the failure of marriage, why is the young wolf lord disobedient. If it weren't for the fact that A Song of Ice and Fire was a stark family, the Frey's bloody wedding would be forgivable. Who told you the Stark family to play tricks on us!

At the same time, the Duskdale Rebellion broke out due to the Darklins' refusal to pay taxes to the Iron Throne. Aerys was anxious to solve the problem on his own, and as a result, he was imprisoned. The city of Twilight was besieged for six months until Ser Barristan Selmy managed to rescue the king.

House Dacrin was wiped out by Aerys, the first in the history of the sparsely populated continent of Westeros, before House Lake took their place as rulers of Duskdale. Legend has it that it was the six months of captivity in Twilight that drove King Aerys into madness. Become the Mad King! So everything happens for a reason!

Around this time, Prince Rhaegar began to correspond with Aemonn Targaryen, the maester of Castle Black, repeatedly wondering if he was the "Prince of Prophecy", reincarnated to fight against the powerful darkness that was about to return. Soon they decided that the prophesied prince was actually Aegon, the infant son of Rhaegar. That is, Jon Snow.

281 Wrong Spring. The Brotherhood of Kingsguard was defeated by a group of knights led by several Kingsguards, and Arthur Dayne killed the leader of the Brotherhood. James Lannister excelled in this battle and was knighted by Arthur Dayne.

Earl Haan hosts a grand jousting tournament in Harrenhal, and Prince Rhaegar wins, choosing instead of his own wife and naming Lyanna Stark of Winterfell Queen of Love and Beauty.

Eddard Stark meets and befriends Holland Reed of Greywater. Jaime joins the Kingsguard, stripping his father of his heir. Tywin Lannister resigned as Prime Minister, angrily protested the move, and returned to Castle Rock.

282-283 - Usurper War: Rhaegar Targaryen kidnaps Lyanna Stark from King's Landing. Lyanna's eldest brother, Brandon Stark, stormed the Red Keep with several of his followers in a furious attempt to kill Rhaeggar, and the Mad King Aerys arrested them and summoned their father to the palace on charges of treason, killing all of them except Ethan Glover, who escaped.

At this time, the Mad King was really crazy, and later I heard James Lannister say that when the Mad King felt that the war was lost, he buried a large number of wildfires in King's Landing, and when the rebels entered the city, they were all destroyed! Let the whole city of King's Landing be buried!

Later, James Lannister killed the Mad King and the Fire Warlock in order to stop it! Saved King's Landing, but he never told anyone about it!

In 282, Eddard Stark, Robert Baratheon, and their adoptive father, Jon Arryn, rebelled, and Robert claimed the throne as the great-grandson of Aegon V. The Usurper War, also known as the Robert Rebellion, began.

Horst Tully supported the rebellion, while the Tyrells remained loyal to the king and laid siege to Robert's castle, Storm's End (the Tyrells made a mistake and later traveled for political understanding). )

The Mad King's former prime minister was defeated in the Battle of the Bell and exiled to a free trade city-state.

Robert's rebels defeated the Royalists at the Battle of the Trident, and Prince Rhaegar was killed. The Lannisters ostensibly sent an army to the aid of King Aerys, but instead they fought against Aerys and took and plundered King's Landing.

King Aerys was killed by Jaime Lannister. Princess Elia Martell and her children, Aegon and Rhaenys, are brutally murdered by Lannister's subordinates, causing a rift between Eddard Stark and Robert Baratheon.

Ned Stark and Horan Reed defeated the Kingsguard guarding Lyanna and found her dying.

Ned and Robert were reconciled because of this. Robert was crowned King of Westeros and married Cersei Lannister. Ned returns to Winterfell with his bastard son, Jon Snow.

Loyal to the Targaryens, Jon Dary arrives safely in the Free Trade City-State with Aerys' two young children, Prince Viserys and Princess Daenerys.

Robert Baratheon sat on the Iron Throne and there were few wars since. Until 289, when Greyjoy rebelled. Baron Greyjoy proclaims himself King of the Iron Islands. He was defeated, his two sons were killed, and he had to surrender to King Robert. Baron's only remaining son, Theon, became Eddard Stark's adopted son and hostage.

It was also in this year that Jorah Mormont brought back his second wife, and my protagonist fled to the Great Wall in desperation for the sake of Evan Mormont's life!
