CHAPTER XXI. 4
Si Chen became alert.
As a monk with a high level of cultivation, he could not have such an illusion.
There must be something nearby.
Si Chen held the sword in his hand, ready to move at any time.
A cat meow sounded, which was particularly poignant in the current environment.
Si Chen followed the prestige and saw a black cat crouching on the ruins, staring straight at him.
Si Chen looked at him for a long time, trying to find out what was wrong with the cat.
The cat stared at him for a moment, then sprang away and disappeared into the darkness.
Si Chen's tense muscles slowly relaxed, and the tip of his sword slowly drooped, pointing at the ground again.
Suddenly, Si Chen instinctively rolled forward, dodging two flying objects.
It was the wreckage of the ruins of the construction site, and the fracture was extremely sharp.
Before Si Chen could think about it, more wreckage was thrown at him without wind.
He parried, but he never found out where his opponent was.
Si Chen thought that this time the matter was not complicated, so there were not many coping tools prepared. In addition to the sword, only a few charms that you have on hand are available.
There was no trace of the opponent, and Si Chen wanted to cast a spell, but he couldn't find the target.
He was a little agitated.
More and more wreckage flew up in the air, and the attacks on Si Chen became more and more intensive.
Si Chen's physical strength gradually depleted, and he began to gasp.
He gritted his teeth, pulled a spell out of his sleeve with one hand, and threw it outward. Then he bit his middle finger and wiped the blood on his sword, piercing the spell that had not yet landed.
"There was thunder and thunder above, and there was no light.
Five first use, deter rampant!
Summoning five thunders, urgent as a law! ”
The spell erupted with dazzling thunder, a deafening roar, and a blast of lightning knocked all the wreckage to the ground. The entire accommodation area was as bright as day with thunder, and even Si Chen himself couldn't open his eyes.
Soon, the thunder ended. There was silence all around, and the spell turned to ashes.
Si Chen was so tired that he stood still, carefully paying attention to the movements around him.
The Five Thunder Charm just now, although it shot down all the flying objects, still failed to make the opponent appear.
A cold light swept down with the wind, and Si Chen felt a sharp pain in his back, and quickly jumped out.
His back was torn open several times, his clothes shredded, and his flesh turned open.
Si Chen gritted his teeth and looked at the person who attacked him.
The man's body was extremely strong, and his whole body was covered with black fur, and only the outline of his facial features could be faintly discerned. Only a pair of yellow rings had vertical pupils in them, and the whites of the eyes were bloodshot.
"Who?!" Si Chen shouted.
The man didn't answer, and shuttled through the ruins with great speed. The night covered for him, so that Si Chen couldn't catch his movements at all.
With a shuddering cat meow, Si Chen was thrown out by a huge force. He slammed into a pile of building materials, injuring him to the point of losing sensation in his waist.
The man stood on top of the building material, lifted a large piece of concrete with astonishing force, and smashed it towards Si Chen.
Si Chen watched the concrete fall, and in a panic, instinctively closed his eyes.
After a roar, the concrete fell to the ground and the dust and mud splattered.
Si Chen opened his eyes and saw Zuo Kui's face.
Zuo Kui rescued Si Chen at the last moment and gently put him on the ground.
Si Chen, who was living for the rest of his life after the catastrophe, reacted, and shame and hatred suddenly rushed to his brain. He stared at Zuo Kui hatefully, but he couldn't move because of his back injury.
But the man didn't give them a chance to breathe, jumped down, stretched out his sharp claws with both hands, and grabbed Zuo Kui fiercely.
Zuo Kui dodged, his claws cutting the steel bars behind him into several pieces.
Two rulers, black and white, fell from the sleeves. Zuo Kui took it in his hand and fought with the man.
The speed and strength of the two are far beyond the reach of humans.
It's just two monsters fighting. Si Chen thought.
Blacks are larger and extremely sturdy. Zuo Kui's ruler was repeatedly slashed at him, but it had no effect.
The two were at a stalemate, and it was difficult to separate for a while.
Suddenly, Zuo Kui dodged the black man's blow, took advantage of his thick arm, and jumped onto the black man's back.
The black man struggled frantically, Zuo Kui's legs tightly clasped around his neck, his hands fending off the attack he hooked to his back.
Zuo Kui exerted his strength to pull away the black man's hands, and the two rulers were thrust into his mouth and broken open with force. The whites of Zuo Kui's eyes disappeared, and the corpse gas in his mouth rolled, all of which were spit into the black man's mouth.
The black man let out a terrible roar, and Zuo Kui jumped away from his body.
The black man's skin began to crack, and the entire surface of his body looked like a cracked lava surface, as if something was about to burst out of his body. His hair was scorched black in patches, and his body struggled frantically.
Suddenly, the changes vanished, and then his skull became incomparably larger. It was a distorted black cat face, which seemed to be filled with countless hard objects, making the whole face uneven and extremely deformed.
With a roar, the cat's mouth erupted like lava. There were many humanoid silhouettes in it, like fluorescent lights on a red screen.
The cat-faced man shrank abruptly after spraying these things. Finally, it turned into a black cat, falling to the ground and convulsing, with magma-like saliva on its lips.
One by one, the silhouettes of the human figures on the lava came to life, flying in the air, their faces twisted and screaming terrifyingly.
Those are the souls of the dead, the souls of the dead in the fire.
Si Chen looked at these unjust souls, a little frightened. Although his body regained consciousness, he had difficulty moving.
Zuo Kui suddenly moved to his side, incredibly fast.
"The Taoist self-defense talisman should have a five-element talisman, and it should be used by borrowing water talismans."
Before Si Chen could react, Zuo Kui had already pulled out the charm from his arms. He threw the spell outward, pierced it with a black ruler, and chanted the spell softly:
"Three rivers and four waters, the ground is frozen and the weather is cold.
The clouds and snow shine, and everything is solemn.
The frost falls on the embers, and the urgency is like the law. ”
A cold wind blew on the construction site, mixed with snow and hail. The cold continued to neutralize every trace of fire on the construction site, until all the lava and the color of the unjust spirits were completely gone.
Eventually, the site was wet and steamy.
In the misty water vapor, there are many quiet human-shaped mist, slowly floating in the air.
Zuo Kui took out a small emerald cup with a unique shape from his arms, and his movements were extremely careful.
He cautiously opened the small cup, and all the humanoid mist turned into clear qi, and slowly flew into the small cup, mixing with the clear qi in the small cup. After that, Zuo Kui carefully put away the small cup.
He picked up the unconscious black cat on the ground, turned around to leave, and suddenly seemed to remember something and walked to Si Chen's side.
Si Chen stared at him, as if his eyes were about to erupt with fire.
Zuo Kui checked Si Chen's back injury, then took out a porcelain bottle from his cuff, poured out some potion, and began to apply it to him.
Si Chen had a stomach full of questions, but when the words came to his mouth, he was the first to pop up like this:
"Why do you know I have such a spell?"
