Chapter 32: Breaking the Divide
"Stop, Thor, now is not the time to fight." A voice was heard, and Thor's lightning was consumed by endless darkness, and in the midst of flames, darkness, and lightning and thunder, El stopped Thor's attack.
"El, I'm going to take Loki back for trial." Thor's tone began to flatten, and when confronted with the friends he confessed, Thor would show his friendly side.
"But after Loki admits his guilt in this world, the U.S. government does not have the right to judge Loki, but this does not mean that this world can let Loki do whatever he wants." El persuaded to Thor.
In fact, Thor also knew that what Loki did was wrong, not because Toldo cared about the agents and humans killed by Loki, but because of responsibility, Thor believed that he had a responsibility to protect the earth, and Loki caused his responsibility to be destroyed.
Don't think that Thor is a hero and think how friendly he is to earthlings, in fact, Thor really only cares about his own responsibilities.
"I see, but you have to promise that Loki won't be treated unfairly in this world." Thor slowly lowered his hammer, and after the initial outburst, Thor also learned about his mistake, but he just wanted Loki to apologize to the people of this world, as for the trial? Sorry, but Thor really doesn't think much of the U.S. government.
"Your hammer will guarantee it." El said.
Hearing El's words, Thor smiled, yes, who can resist the power of Thor's hammer?
"It seems to be over like this, half and half, but I didn't expect you to be their eldest brother? El. Tony Stark said as he approached El, dressed in tattered armor.
"That's just my family business." El heard suspicion and estrangement in Tony Stark's tone, but he didn't think Tony Stark cared about anything, in fact, El's eyes never stayed on Stark's body for half a minute, he just cared about Stark Enterprise, after all, Stark Enterprise is the root of everything.
Back on top of the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier, Loki is locked in a cage.
"If you dare to make any rash moves, I will throw you down to see if your so-called gods will fall into a meatloaf if you fall from a height of 10,000 meters." Nick Fury threatens Loki.
And Loki is just hehe, can such a low-level glass cage really keep Loki closed? In El's opinion, it was a joke, and as for Loki, he pretended to be pitiful for the sake of planning, but Thor actually believed it. Elf couldn't help but be a little anxious about Odin's education.
"With all due respect, Director Nick, if you dare to hurt this Loki prince by half a point, what awaits the United States is the army of Jordan Heim, and I can guarantee that no one will care about your request for help, because what you are doing is declaring war."
Seeing Nick Fury's arrogant appearance, El couldn't help but speak.
"So there's nothing we can do with him? Asgard's eldest brother, if he wants war, then just come. Tony Stark had shed his armor, he said sarcastically.
"Stupid." Elco is not in the habit of getting angry. "You think you're strong, America is strong, Thor, tell them what would happen if you unleashed your hammer with all your might? What kind of troops does Jordan Haim have? ”
With a sneer, El reminded Tony Stark that he was the real stupid.
"Jordan Heim." Unlike Tony Stark, although Nick Fury often puts himself on the side of the advantage, out of caution he still asks Dortor, because he can see that Thor is a stupid big guy.
"War?" When Thor heard Nick Fury's inquiry, his voice instantly burst into flames. "There won't be any war, Laufey just needs to release the Ice Box through the tunnel, and you'll be completely finished."
Hearing Thor's words, Nick Fury couldn't bear it anymore.
"Can't we do something about this guy?" Nick Fury yelled.
"Of course you can, but it has to be during the war." El glanced at Nick Fury and said.
"He's already killed dozens of people, isn't this war? Need some explanation, we can dispose of him now. Nick Fury whispered to El.
"No, actually, nothing Loki has done now is a crime, he's just acting in his own power."
"Huh?"
Not only Nick Fury, but even Thor was a little puzzled, he thought that his brother had indeed committed a crime, but now it seems that something is wrong.
"Thor, you should take a good look at Asgard's documents, the Cosmic Rubik's Cube, also known as the Dragon's Jade, is an item belonging to Asgard, the U.S. government has no right to hold it, all Loki does is to get back his belongings, as the third in line to the throne of Asgard, he has this qualification."
"But it is unforgivable that he wants to impose his dictatorship in Germany." Captain America retorted to El that he would rather give the ownership of the Cosmic Cube to Asgard than to S.H.I.E.L.D., and that although he hadn't been sober for long, he felt an unsettling quality in S.H.I.E.L.D. - something that once belonged to Hydra.
"No, in fact, a thousand years ago, the human monarch belonging to the German region swore allegiance to Asgard, so ........." El shrugged.
"But that was a thousand years ago, and who cares about that old stuff, it's the age of democracy." Tony Stark said sarcastically, as if he were looking at an old hat.
"That's for humans." Bruce Banner understood what El meant, so he said with an ugly face. "The lifespan of the Asgardians is about 5,000 years, and a thousand years is not even a generation for them, so in fact, a thousand years is equivalent to twenty years for humans."
All of a sudden, everyone fell silent, for El's question was so acute that they were speechless.
"You were the monarch of Asgard in the first place, El, I know you, Siegfried, the prince of the Netherlands a thousand years ago." Tony, who got all the facts about Siegfried through Jarvis, said.
"Nope." Even El couldn't help but rise in anger in the face of Tony Stark's targeting. "That's almost every human monarch north of Central Europe at the time, including your ancestor, Stark, so you understand."
