These three calamities are thunder, fire, and wind, although they are called thunder, fire, and wind, except for the first calamity, the other two are not fire and wind in the general sense.

Fire is called yin fire, which is a terrifying calamity that is generated from itself, burned from under the springs on the soles of the feet, and burned from the feet to the meridians, flesh, skin, internal organs, and even the primordial spirit.

As for the last calamity, it is also called the wind, which is also generated from the body, from the gap where the six skulls of the human being are combined with each other, called the chimney gate, and blows in from there, so that people's nine orifices and flesh and bones, and the spiritual energy and essence all dissolve the heaven and earth, which is similar to the "mediation and creation" that Li Xiaodao has to pass on to the Wa Emperor.

And in the main universe, the cultivation of heavenly immortals to true immortals also has the same calamity, which is called the five decays of heaven and man.

The difference is that in the Journey to the West world, once every 500 years, a total of three disasters, after surviving, you can enjoy the immortal road in peace, and there is no worry about eternal calamity.

In the main universe, this celestial and human decay is full of five times, although the time and interval between the three calamities of the Journey to the West are longer, there are a thousand years, but the duration is more than three times that of the Journey to the West.

Traveling to the West, the Three Calamities will only last for 1,500 years, and in the main universe, there will be 5,000 years before and after the five decays of heaven and man.

At this time, Sun Wukong heard what Patriarch Su Bodhi said, and hurriedly said: "Since the patriarch said it, there must be a way to dodge." ”

Patriarch Su Bodhi said slowly: "I have two changes here, I have learned to change a thousand times, this change is not a transformation, but a change from the inside out, so that after learning can avoid calamity, so that the three disasters have nowhere to find you, one according to the number of heaven, there are seventy-two changes, one according to the number of earth, there are thirty-six changes, what do you want to learn?" ”

Sun Wukong's eyes rolled, but he didn't hurry to choose, stared at Patriarch Subodhi and asked: "The disciple is stupid, but I don't know that the two are so different, the patriarch might as well explain one or two." ”

Patriarch Su Bodhi didn't understand the meaning of this monkey, and scolded with a smile: "You stubborn monkey, you have to be a ghost, even if I don't say it, you don't have to choose the one who suffers." ”

When Sun Wukong heard this, he immediately blessed his soul and said, "But is the number of earth evils better than the number of Tiangang?" ”

"Yes, yes." Patriarch Subodhi stroked his beard and slowly explained:

"The number of heaven and earth, with nine as the extreme, should be forty-nine, and it should be called Tiangang. It's all in eight or nine, and it's called the earth's evil. All of them are imaginary fingers, which means to include infinity, and six are yin and nine are yang, so the number of eight or nine is indeed above the number of four or nine. ”

The number of six or six is the most yin, so Zhu Bajie and others can only become rough and rough, and they cannot be true Yuanyang, which has many restrictions on change, which is not as good as Sun Wukong's seventy-two changes.

At this time, Sun Wukong immediately drew inferences from one case and said: "Since the number is extreme, it is nine." There should be ninety-nine numbers, when there are eighty-one changes! ”

Patriarch Su Bodhi said with a smile: "The number of ninety-nine is extreme, and it is beyond my control, and in the Three Realms today, only the Dao Ancestor is at the top of heaven and earth!" ”

Sun Wukong was stunned for a moment, and immediately remembered that when he was a child, he read those rare Taoist scriptures in Xuanji, one of which talked about Taishang Laojun:

"The old monarch, the ancestor of Yuan Qi, the master of Wuji, the ancestor of all religions, the parents of heaven and earth, all-encompassing, all-encompassing, has eighty-one infinite vast mana......"

This kind of all-encompassing ability, where can only the thirty-six kinds of supernatural powers be restricted, not to mention the seventy-two variants of the so-called: channeling, spitting water, breathing fire, dreaming, inviting gods and other pediatric-level spells.

Isn't the path pursued by a cultivator all his life the "old gentleman" who is one with all things and all things are transformed by him?

But on the road, why are there still spiritual treasures and beginnings!

Is the golden paper more above the Word?

Sun Wukong woke up suddenly, and hurriedly said: "The disciple is willing to choose the majority." ”

A trace of doubt flashed in Patriarch Subodhi's eyes, but he didn't ask too much, and said, "Okay, I will immediately pass on to you the seventy-two changes of the earth, you must remember to practice, don't be arrogant, and come to see me again after you finish your studies." ”

After that, he passed on the recipe of seventy-two changes to Wukong.

This transmission of the Dharma is three days and nights, and after Wukong gets the trick, he immediately respectfully retires.

Leaving the patriarch's room, Sun Wukong took a deep breath and said in his heart: "It doesn't matter what it is, as long as I have been chasing it on the road, one day, it will show its identity." ”

Let's say, Sun Wukong pressed the distracting thoughts in his heart, and while cultivating the seventy-two changes wholeheartedly, he thought: "I don't know what the situation is on the deity's side, since there are three calamities in this world, the deity will definitely be robbed, once in five hundred years, and there are still more than 700 years before the scriptures are learned, which means that the deity will inevitably be robbed once." ”

However, he then thought that in the heavenly court, Journey to the West clearly said that there is one day in heaven and one year underground, so if the deity goes to the heavenly court, he should be able to avoid this calamity, because they are the same soul, although there is a priority, but the idea is still the same thinking, since he can think of this, the deity should not be able to think of it.

But then a new question came to him.

Since a day in the sky is a year on the earth, how many years have passed since the opening of heaven and earth to the present?

If the deity stayed in the Heavenly Court, wouldn't it have only been more than 700 days over there?

No longer thinking about the problem of this conversion amount being too large, and no longer worrying about the situation on the Buddha's side, the monkey plunged into the cultivation of the seventy-two changes.

Although it can't reach the number of ninety-nine, such as the eighty general changes of Dao Ancestor, exhausting the universe of heaven and earth, but it is only a number of nineteen, and if the mana is enough, the things that evolve are also huge enough.

Such as heaven and earth, the sun and the moon, and the stars.

The heavens, earth, sun and moon of the Journey to the West world are incarnated by the Pangu body incarnated by Lao Jun, which is too difficult.

But when he left Journey to the West, he returned to the main universe, with these seventy-two changes, and when he became a Buddha, at least it was estimated that he would be the cultivation of the Golden Immortal, and it should be no problem to change thousands of planets at will, after all, when he was in the realm of immortals, he could blow up the planet with all his strength.
