Ancient Dian bronzes

Listening to the shout of the black bull, I carried Gu Yixin on my back and couldn't wait to walk in through the crack in the bronze door.

When Hei Niu saw me come in, he gritted his teeth and said, "Old Su, I have a dizzy feeling of being carried away by victory, quick!" Screw me up and see if I'm dreaming! ”

"Don't screw it, in case it's a sweet dream, if I twist it, you wake up, and I have to wake up too! This...... It's literally a bronze museum! ”

Not to mention the black bull, I boast that I have followed the archaeological team to fight in the north and south for many years, and I have witnessed the excavation of many large tombs, and I have never seen such a shocking scene.

The burial chamber is the size of a basketball court, about twenty or thirty meters high, and there is a wavy bronze barrier in the middle, which divides the burial chamber into two burial chambers, the front and rear. The first half of the burial chamber is illuminated by three bright lights: the spotlights shine with shimmering bronze light, and the whole burial chamber is like a museum exhibition hall, with countless bronze utensils placed on a staggered bronze platform.

Throughout the eyes, these bronzes have daily utensils, artistic ornaments, ceremonial heavy weapons, weapons and halberds. It is as if the history of a country has been moved into an ancient tomb.

Gao Moli looked at the scene in front of him, a trace of waves appeared on his calm face, and a subtle excitement flashed in his deep eyes. Along the way, he rarely showed such expressions, and it was clear that he was not just shocked by the dazzling array of bronzes.

I put Gu Yixin on the ground and let her sit against the wall next to the bronze door. Later, he noticed that the walls were a little cold, and took off his coat and put it on her back.

After settling Gu Yixin, I couldn't wait to remove the tactical spotlight from the top of my head, ready to observe the bronzes in order from the side of the tomb. I saw the black bull carrying his backpack to his chest, looking at the large and small bronze utensils in the front room.

I quipped: "It's strange, it's not your black bull's style of doing things without taking a stitch from the masses, do you have any bad intentions?" Truthfully recruited. ”

The black bull replied with a smile: "You know what kind of fart you want to put on my stubborn ass, and I was really blinded by you, Master Niu, I learned from the experience of failure last time, and I am ready to observe first and then start, and pick the baby among the treasures to take!" Besides, you don't know that the funeral room is the same as our antique shop, and the most valuable things are not displayed in the open. I looked, this front room is all some equipment that reflects the social life and battle at that time, you slowly study it, I will go behind the big screen to see, there must be valuable treasures there! ”

With that, the black bull hummed a sour song and walked from the side of the screen to the backroom. I saw that there was no mechanism in the tomb, so I did not stop him, and went to see the beautiful bronze utensils.

Near the bronze door is a three-legged peacock bronze lamp that is squatting and one person high. The peacock is off the ground with one foot and half spread its wings, looking up and dancing with its head up. The dull yellow wick hung down from the peacock's beak, and I read it with my hand, and the wick was a little sticky, and it looked like there was still lamp oil. I pulled out the flint and steel and struck it a few times, and as the sparks splashed, a cluster of dark yellow flames burned from the peacock's beak.

The dim light of the fire reflected the shadow of the bronze finch on the tomb wall, and as the flames flickered, the three-legged peacock danced on the tomb wall as if it were alive.

"What a brilliant design!" I exclaimed to myself in amazement and continued to watch. I saw that there was a large square copper plate on the copper platform, in which some decorative utensils such as copper bracelets, copper pillows, bronze fish head scepters were placed. These utensils are carved with strange patterns, full of unique customs of ethnic minorities.

A trace of doubt rose in my heart, how could there be such a strong funeral object with the characteristics of ethnic minorities in the burial chamber of Yizhou Thorn History? Could it be that the assassin is a minority? Or did he have an almost obsessive love for the culture of the ethnic minorities in southern Xinjiang, so much so that he brought these distinctive symbols into his dungeon? However, after thinking about it, I feel that neither of these assumptions is valid, because Yizhou Thorn Shi is a cruel and cruel official, a bloodthirsty maniac, how could he like these bronzes so tastefully?

I couldn't figure out why, so I had to be patient and keep looking. Nearly 100 large and small copper pots are placed next to the square copper plate, which are cylindrical with open mouths, and the edges are carved with complex and realistic scenes. I suddenly felt that these copper pots were very familiar, and when I thought about it carefully, I suddenly remembered that these copper pots were exactly the same as the shell storage vessels unearthed in Jinning a few years ago.

That archaeological activity was presided over by Professor Kang, and I recorded it with the team. I remember that the old man was very excited to see the shellfish storage vessels, and he said that these shellfish storage vessels are the essence of Yunnan bronze culture. Later, I consulted ancient books on my own, and I also had a general understanding of shell storage vessels.

The shellfish storage vessel is a unique bronze container of Yunnan bronze culture, and its original function is to store shellfish. Their lids or bodies are often carved or engraved with various scenes and images that reflect various aspects of ancient Dian social life. If it is found in a burial chamber, some of the images carved on the lid of the tomb often show the prominent status, status, or glorious experience of the tomb owner during his lifetime.

In this way, could it be that this burial room has something to do with the ancient Dian Kingdom?!

I turned around abruptly and found that Gao Moli was also looking at these shell storage vessels, so I stared at him and asked, "Do you know these things?" Right? ”

He nodded.

I continued to ask: "This is the shellfish storage vessel of the ancient Dian Kingdom, and it is also the important weapon of the country that symbolizes the authority of the royal family of the ancient Dian Kingdom, how can they be here?" ”

"They should have been here." Gao Moli was silent for a moment, and then asked, "Don't you feel familiar with this scene?" ”

His question only plunged me into even greater confusion, do I know these things? Or, should I recognize?

I hurried to look at the shellfish storage vessels, and saw that the edges of their upper ends were all carved with complex scenes: some silkworm weaving; some smelting and casting; some read hymns; Some of them played music and danced...... The figures of those bronze sculptures are lifelike, from the body shape to the eyebrow expression, all of which are realistic. I looked at them one by one, as if I had traveled back to the ancient Dian Kingdom and was inspecting the people's livelihood.

I stopped in front of a huge shell storage vessel carved with a busy scene of spring ploughing and sowing: more than a dozen farmers scattered in the fields, some holding seedlings, some driving oxen to plough the fields, some holding farm tools, some carrying water for irrigation, and three or five children running happily in the distance. On the ridge of the field, two well-dressed men stood with their backs to us watching the busy scene in the field. One wears a golden crown and a jade belt around his waist, like a king; The other was holding a sword, apparently a general.

As I looked at the bronze sculpture, I felt as if I was standing on a ridge at the moment, with the breeze blowing my sleeves and the smell of earth wafting all around. In front of me is the busy scene of sowing seeds and spring ploughing, and there are children playing in the distance.

And beside me, there stood Gao Moli, just like now.
