Actually, the reason is very simple! Because we had some things on our car that weren't easy to see! If we were with the police, if we were discovered, not only would my grandmother not be found, but even we would have to be locked up; So, naturally, we can't let the police look for us together!

But after knowing the direction of my grandmother's journey, we left Golmud and followed the road to Tibet!

Leaving the city and passing through the surrounding towns, we are greeted by a large area of pastures, but because it is now November, these pastures present us with a barren scene, not at all like the scene of green everywhere in summer; However, the sky is blue and the air is fresh, which makes people feel relaxed! It's just that our breathing is starting to get a little heavier because of the higher altitude.

After driving for more than an hour, we saw a village in the distance, and the policeman who had greeted us in Golmud before did not call us, so it seemed that my grandmother should be in this area, so we were going to go to that village to inquire.

However, before we reached the village, we saw a few people running out of the village from a distance, their behavior was very strange, and the posture of running was not like normal people, which made me vigilant.

It wasn't until they got closer and closer that I realized that these people who were running towards us didn't seem to be people. It's a corpse that has been transformed!

What is the reason for their faces? It actually swelled up, and from a distance, it looked like a basketball on its neck! And the skin is purple and black, which is a typical sign of corpse transformation, with hair standing on end and blisters on the body.

"Be careful, this is a corpse, don't let them touch your head?"

When I saw those zombies, I suddenly remembered their origins, which seemed to be the corpses of another species of zombies in Tibetan legends. So he hurriedly told Hu Yifei and Hu Laoqi to be careful.

When I was a child, my grandfather told me that many of the old people and funeral masters in Tibetan areas he had come into contact with said that they had seen corpses before, and had seen them many times, but they were not sudden, but had been forewarned in advance.

The corpses that were about to rise, their faces swelled, their skin purple-black, their hair stood on end, and their bodies were blistered, and then they slowly sat up with their eyes open, then got up and ran straight forward with their hands raised. And all corpses have a common characteristic, that is, they can't speak, they can't bend over, they can't even move their eyes, they can only stare straight ahead, and their bodies run straight forward.

If a living person is encountered, the corpse will be "touched" with a stiff hand, so that the living person will die immediately and become a corpse at the same time. This bizarre and terrifying effect is confined to the body of a living person, and has no effect on other animals.

It is said that there are five types of corpses:

The first skin and the second flesh, these two types of corpses are played by their skin or flesh, so the skin and flesh on their bodies will cause the same corpse transformation of the contaminated person after the skin and flesh on their bodies are contaminated.

The fourth type is called "bone rising", that is, the main factor that causes this kind of corpse is in its bones, and it can only be dealt with by injuring its bones.

It is said that once upon a time the abbot of a temple in Tibet died, and the monks of the whole temple placed his body in the temple hall, and then everyone sat in the hall day and night to chant and pray, for three consecutive days and three nights without closing their eyes, on the third night, those exhausted monks could not help but fall asleep one by one, snoring like thunder.

One of the timid monks was afraid that the abbot would be devastated and had no sleep, so he stared intently at the body of the abbot.

In the middle of the night, he suddenly found the abbot's body sitting up. Suddenly frightened, he forgot to wake up the monks, pulled out his legs and rushed out of the door, and slammed the temple door to flee for his life.

As a result, hundreds of monks in the whole temple turned into corpses in one night. Fortunately, they couldn't make it out of the temple gate, but just rampage through the temple, turning the world upside down. Otherwise, if they run out, it won't be the people who will be harmed!

Later, a hermit with magical power discovered the uncontrollable scene, he was dressed in a robe, holding a magic weapon, reciting a mantra, and came to the temple alone, opened the temple door and danced the divine dance, and walked slowly forward as he danced, and the corpses also danced behind him and followed closely.

When they came to a river, the hermit led the corpses up to a wooden bridge, and then took off their robes and threw them into the river, so that the corpses jumped into the middle of the river with their robes and never came out.

Whether it is reality or legend, this has undoubtedly created an invisible pressure on the hearts and minds of Tibetans. In order to prevent the terrible corpses from rushing in, according to the characteristics of the corpses that cannot bend over, the local people also specially designed and built the kind of houses with low gates, which are obstacles for the corpses.

Of course, in those ancient times, this kind of prevention of corpses was only used in those areas where houses were inhabited in southern and eastern Tibet, but in the vast areas of northern Tibet, especially the herdsmen living on the border of Hoh Xil, they could not use this precaution, and the herdsmen often lived in fear.

At the moment, these corpses we have encountered do not know whether they belong to the first type of corpse? Although they don't have much attack power, they are agile and fast; In the blink of an eye, they were already in front of us, and they reached out in a daze to touch our heads.
