The people of the Heavenly Master's Mansion offered Zhang Linkong as a little ancestor, and the disciples of Longhu Mountain also began to call Zhang Linkong Young Heavenly Master. Although Zhang Linkong rarely goes down the mountain, every time he goes down the mountain, he will be protected by a large number of disciples, and along the way, the believers kowtow to Zhang Linkong like worshipping God. For the first time, Zhang Linkong felt the difference in himself, not only in terms of status but also in spirit, and he almost felt that he could influence everyone's will. When Zhang Linkong's father found out, he secretly called his son over, and reminded Zhang Linkong in a deep tone not to be too public, and not to use the power and ability in his hands too much. Zhang Linkong didn't understand it at that time, but Zhang Linkong's father wanted his son to remember these words forever.

When Zhang Linkong was thirteen years old, he formally studied the Taoist art of Longhu Mountain, and his father personally served as Zhang Linkong's teacher. Zhang Tianshi has no Zen concessions, and there will be no emperor like the royal family, and each Zhang Tianshi will not pass on his status to the next Zhang Tianshi until he dies. Of course, when Zhang Tianshi is old or reaches a certain age, the next heir of Zhang Tianshi, that is, the young master of the imperial court, will help the current Zhang Tianshi handle affairs and prepare to take over Zhang Tianshi. If the current Zhang Tianshi does not designate a successor, or passes away unexpectedly, someone will choose one person from among the descendants of Zhang Tianshi in the Heavenly Master's Mansion to serve as Zhang Tianshi, which needs to be collectively approved by the Heavenly Master's Mansion and the imperial court's edict to count. The relationship between these people and the Heavenly Master's Mansion is very delicate, they are not only the cronies of Zhang Tianshi's lineage, but also the people who contain and restrain Zhang Tianshi from becoming the spiritual leader. Because they knew too many secrets of the Heavenly Master's Mansion, they would not let Zhang Tianshi become the nerve leader of the entire Taoist family. Every disciple of Zhang Tianshi will be focused on cultivating by Zhang Tianshi from the beginning of being selected by Zhang Tianshi, and they will definitely not be mediocre. After Zhang Linkong apprenticed, he realized that he looked down on a few senior brothers, no, now it should be said that it is his junior disciples, and the original talent is not worse than his own. However, these people are destined not to become Zhang Tianshi, they will always be Zhang Tianshi's shadow or followers, and they will not be able to become big shots. There are rules in the Heavenly Master's Mansion, and in order to reflect the prestige of Zhang Tianshi, all the credit of the entire Longhu Mountain must be attributed to the current Zhang Tianshi. When Zhang Linkong was sixteen years old, there was a severe drought in the south of the Yangtze River, and the common people begged Zhang Tianshi to come forward and ask for rain. Zhang's father estimated that the drought would take at least two to three months. This is the reason why Zhang Linkong's father refused the requests of the people and the imperial court, and deliberately delayed the trip on the grounds of poor health. Zhang Linkong already knew some calculations and spells, and he privately asked his father why he didn't use the spells of Longhu Mountain to ask for rain? His father told Zhang Linkong that this kind of spell not only hurts his body but also needs to be in line with the will of heaven, otherwise it will not have much effect. The time for the great drought in Jiangnan was not enough, and the excessive use of spells would arouse suspicion and speculation from the imperial court and Emperor Jiajing. For the sake of the reputation of the Heavenly Master's Mansion and the safety of the Heavenly Master's Mansion, Zhang Linkong's father decided to wait.

Unexpectedly, Emperor Jiajing issued a holy decree to ask Zhang Linkong's father, Zhang Tianshi, who was Zhang Tianshi at that time, to ask for rain. The holy decree mentions the time and quantity very strangely, nominally calculated by Emperor Jiajing, the Taoist emperor, but in fact, it is a task that Zhang Linkong's father must complete. If Zhang Tianshi couldn't ask for rain or the amount of time was wrong, it would be Zhang Tianshi openly opposing the imperial court and Emperor Jiajing. Especially for the ability of Emperor Jiajing, a Taoist emperor, Zhang Tianshi dared not to give face to Emperor Jiajing, and Emperor Jiajing would let Zhang Tianshi's line disappear completely. If Zhang Tianshi begged for rain, the common people would think that this was Zhang Tianshi's ability, and they would believe in Zhang Tianshi even more, and Zhang Tianshi would become a greater hidden danger for Emperor Jiajing. Zhang Linkong's father was in a dilemma, if he did not go to fight against the imperial court and Emperor Jiajing, if he went to complete the prayer for rain, Emperor Jiajing would be even more jealous of the Heavenly Master's Mansion, and if he couldn't ask for rain, the people would be disappointed in the Heavenly Master's Mansion. Zhang Linkong's father finally decided to ask for rain and do his best to complete the task assigned by the imperial court, after all, this is something that is beneficial to the country and the people.

Before Zhang Linkong's father left Longhu Mountain, he almost frantically forced Zhang Linkong to learn all the spells, and Zhang Linkong's father did not hesitate to vomit blood and overdraft his physical strength to teach Zhang Linkong Zhang Tianshi several proprietary spells and formulas. Zhang Linkong's father and son used the time to prepare props to complete the final teaching, and Zhang Linkong's father rushed to Jiangnan to ask for rain. As a result, Zhang Linkong's father finally succeeded, but he never returned to Longhu Mountain, and the day after he succeeded in asking for rain, Zhang Tianshi cast a spell and passed away. While praising Zhang Tianshi, the imperial court ordered that Zhang Linkong, the young celestial master, should enter Beijing immediately to accept the imperial court's edict and appointment. In fact, it was the imperial court that worried that Zhang Linkong had ideas, and was even more worried that Zhang Linkong would use this incident to incite his disciples and believers to confront the imperial court. Zhang Linkong already knew some inside information before going to the capital, so he scattered many senior brothers to various places, leaving only the relatives of the Zhang family in Longhu Mountain, and he went to the capital alone. Zhang Linkong thought about it, if Emperor Jiajing wanted to kill him, he would give his life to Emperor Jiajing. If Emperor Jiajing wanted to imprison him, he would live in the capital for a few years. If the imperial court wants to target the Zhang family, the people of the Zhang family are all in the Heavenly Master Mansion of Longhu Mountain, and they are allowed to be imprisoned or disposed of by the imperial court. If the imperial court wants to target the Heavenly Master's Mansion, the Heavenly Master's Mansion can be delisted and sealed.
