Chapter 3: Wounds: 14. Confusion
Ah Mei rose in the lake, and I wanted to call out to her, but I couldn't make a sound. I wanted to walk towards her, but I couldn't move. I watched as Ah Mei began to burn on the surface of the lake, becoming a fireball. The fireball rose higher and higher, farther and farther away from me. Finally, it became the sun hanging high in the sky.
The sun is in the sky, radiating a brilliant and scorching glow.
In the scorching light of the sun, I felt my body freeze together, like a droplet of tiny droplets of water formed in a low-lying area on a vapor board, and I felt as if I were about to melt away. Then, I felt like a gust of wind again, that transparent, pervasive wind. I stroked over the undulating desert, I skimmed over the huge black roofs, and I could see the children running around the courtyard. As I skimmed over the fields, I saw patches of golden rape flowers blooming, and I saw swarms of small bees buzzing and flying among the flowers. In the vibration of the little bee's crystalline wings, I felt myself as a weed in the field. I felt the nature of life, the intimacy of the earth, which came with life and was entangled with life. I breathed in the fresh fragrance of the earth, I heard the sound of plants growing and jointing in the soil, and I heard the chirping of various small animals in the ground or above ground. But then I quickly dried up. I noticed that my body was also starting to burn, and the flames were cracking.
I finally realized that I was dreaming.
I tried hard to open my eyes. But no matter how hard I tried, my eyelids were heavy and seemed to melt together. Once again, I felt the heat in the struggle with my eyelids, like I was in a burning furnace. I struggled and writhed with all my energy, trying to break free from the irrepressible heat. But my whole body couldn't move, as if it was fixed by something, and only one thought was still trying. My motionless body gradually felt the heat enter and rise from my body. I felt every one of my veins expanding, as if they were about to explode. I felt my mouth dry and I felt a splitting headache.
At that moment, I felt the wind again, a cool finger-like breeze gently blowing through my body. I felt the cool breeze creeping through my head. I felt the freshness of the wind flowing along my breath and subtly filling my body, condensing in my lungs, in every bone and in the crevices where every bone was connected. Immediately, I was immersed in the cold water, my whole feeling was rising and falling with the fluctuations of the sea, and all my thoughts were flickering with the movement of the sea.
There was an indescribable sense of laziness all over me.
So, I heard the wind, and I heard the familiar and friendly voice. Sometimes it condenses, sometimes it drifts away. Like the ehu's elaboration, and like the saxophone's whisper. So, I saw the wind, and I saw the figure that haunted me. Like a light yarn, like a blooming flower, like a naughty elf running around. So I became a feather again, fluttering slowly on a white cloud, and I saw the sky above the clouds that was boundless, blue, brilliant and dazzling. I saw the radiant sun in the sky again.
I felt my eyes stung deeply by the sun's rays.
In this feeling, my consciousness is out of my body. In this feeling of mine, I have no worries, and I no longer have physical bonds. I became a gust of wind, a fallen leaf drifting in the wind. I swirl and dance in the ineffable transparency, I strutt in the indescribable immensity.
I don't know how long this cloudy state has been maintained. I don't know if I'm dead or alive. I felt like I had been suffocating for too long, and there was a cloudy air rolling in my chest for a long time. This turbid atmosphere, a thousand-pound boulder weighed on me. This turbid atmosphere, a raging fire, scorched me. I felt the boulder getting heavier and heavier, and I felt the flame getting hotter and hotter. I felt like I was going to be crushed by this boulder. I felt like I was going to be burned to ashes by this raging fire. I felt like a burning meteor falling unstoppably towards an infinite black hole. At this time, I discovered my vulnerability, and I found that my life was being stripped from my body. Eventually, I felt a rush of pain that I had never felt before, the pain that came from the forcible detachment of life from my body. I writhed and screamed in pain, resisting the peeling with an instinctive force.
At this time, I saw a thin thread.
At one end of the line is life, and at the other end of the line is death.
There is only a thin line between life and death.
I grabbed the thread with what strength I had and kept myself on this end of the line. I hold this thread with both hands, eager to draw courage and strength from it. Gradually, I felt that my strength had dissipated, the pain was gone, and only the numbness was spreading throughout my body. I felt like my body was getting lighter and lighter, and it was so light that it was about to float. Like a flag hanging on a flagpole, I drifted away from death. I didn't know where the power came from for a moment, and I pushed the thin line, and flew in the direction of life like an arrow.
Finally, I felt my whole body loosen and I lay on the solid ground full of vitality and vitality.
I felt soft all over my body, and exhaustion soaked through me.
Suddenly, I heard a voice flowing from my heart: water!
With this voice, the turbid qi in his chest also flowed away.
At this time, I felt a fresh flow into my body. It was like a fresh breeze swirling and moisturizing my body. Like the wilderness of spring, after a night of drizzle, everything wakes up and comes alive.
I opened my eyes.
I saw a ray of light shining on me, surrounded by old men, faceless and small cuts. When they saw me open my eyes, they let out a long breath.
"You're finally awake, you scared us to death just now." ”
I looked at everyone in amazement, "What happened to me?" ”
A girl approached me and said, "You're sick and burning badly." You just kept talking mushy and desperately calling the name of a girl named Ah Mei. ”
The girl had a glass of water in her hand, and she puffed out her cheeks, blew softly on me with her pink mouth, and then smiled at me.
I said, "Who are you?" Where am I? ”
