Chapter 12: Angus
Looking at the main hall of the cottage that had become a ruin in front of him, the flames were burning slowly and firmly on the wood, and under the red firelight, Canos looked helplessly at the huge hammer on the ground that had been seriously twisted and deformed, and couldn't help but pout, with a little regret in his heart, "This weapon is still a little suitable for me, what a loser!" "But when Canos secretly imagined the awkward appearance of wielding this behemoth, he couldn't help but laugh a little, it was really a little 'incongruous' and awkward.
Kicking the sledgehammer at his feet with a chuckle, he looked around, "Where is the mastermind behind the scenes, or the 'respectable' Lord Daniel?" Canos scratched his hair in confusion, "Didn't I even see the main owner of the huge movement that I managed to make?" Canos shook his head a little discouraged, and a hideous, nervous smile abruptly appeared at the corners of his mouth.
"Hide and seek, I can't !! the most" Canos sneered and was about to exert his strength again and plow this area hard, not believing that he couldn't find this damn guy!
Suddenly, Canos's ears moved slightly, and he stopped what he was doing, and turned his head to look into the shadows beside him, where an emaciated figure was stumbling towards him.
"Big... My lord! Please save us! The shouts came from far and near, Judith was covered with scars, some of which were even oozing blood, and he gasped violently, eagerly looking at the tall shirtless man in front of him, and let out a sincere cry.
"Haven't I saved you yet?" Canos smiled nervously as he looked at the panting and wounded man in front of him. "The rest is up to you, how to escape, or take everyone with you, it's up to you!" Canos's face suddenly became serious, he changed his expression, patted Judith on the shoulder, and said enthusiastically.
It would be too much trouble to get these people out, and besides, Canos remembered that he hadn't killed the principals yet!
Judith listened to Canos's words, and the words that she just wanted to blurt out were forcibly blocked, "Now, the little guy who has been captured and tortured, can you tell me where the principal here has gone?" Canos whispered to Judith's ear. The expression on his face was slightly nervous and crazy, asking him to be patient to save those who had nothing to do with him, was he really a kind, selfless hero?
Canos himself had never admitted it that way!
Judith felt the man's burning snort in his ears, but his whole body began to tremble slightly, and he suddenly felt a little impulsive, and began to regret why he ran out so quickly. Judith suddenly realized that although the man in front of him had killed the scum and miscellaneous who had captured them, he did not look like a good person with the cruel means that this man could not injure and destroy by mistake... At least not the heroes who exist in Judith's memory to save others from fire and water.
Judith trembled slightly, a little doubtful that he had walked into another demon cave, but he gritted his teeth fiercely, stopped his trembling body and said, "I... I've only seen the other guys they had taken the other guys out there the other way to the cave the other day, and I just glanced at them when I came from there, and I didn't know if there was anyone inside..."Judith said a little vaguely, for he wasn't quite sure if his information was correct. But now there was no doubt that he had been taken prisoner and had suffered some torture and injury, and Judith did not want to provoke the 'hero' who was listening to him close to his ear.
At least at this moment, he no longer has such thoughts!
Canos patted Judith on the shoulder in satisfaction as a sign of encouragement, and then made a gesture of farewell, signaling that Judith could go and rescue his poor companions or family. "I'm optimistic about you, little one! It's time to save your lovely companions! The tone of his voice was quite old-fashioned, but Canos himself didn't notice or change, and everything seemed unusually natural. Canos turned and strode in the direction Judith had pointed, his figure fading into Judith's eyes with steady footsteps.
Judith had only just had a chance to take a closer look at Canos, a young man with a slightly immature smile on his face, and Judith could not imagine that the sight in front of him and the words he had just blurted out were from such a young man or boy.
In normal times, Judith, as an elder, must say a few words to teach Canos this old-fashioned posture, but now he felt as if he had taken it for granted, as if what the man in front of him said was not unreasonable. Is it because of the power in the hands of this man? He couldn't help but lose his mind as he looked at the sturdy figure of Karnos who was walking farther and farther away until he disappeared. Then Judith slammed her head on the back, "What are you thinking?" Hurry up and get the villagers out of the way, that's what I'm supposed to do. As for him—" Judith thought in some silence, although she complained a little about what this man had done, didn't everyone like to help people to the end? It's not always easy to run into a guy who doesn't play cards according to common sense.
"Let's hope he succeeds," Judith said with a helpless inner blessing, and then quickly ran towards the place where all the captured villagers were being held, he was a restless guy who was pulled out alone to make an example of chickens and monkeys, and the others were not locked up in the same place.
......
At this time, Canos had already discovered this slightly remote cave in the distance in the midst of the raging fire that was gradually burning in the cottage, "Is it so remote that even his own people are afraid or avoid these things?" Karnos thought suspiciously, estimating the distance between the cave in front of him and the main hall building and the somewhat remote terrain here.
"But now is not the time to think so much, the so-called mastermind behind the scenes or their boss should be inside, anxiously waiting for my arrival!" The corners of Karnos's mouth opened up in a chilling range, and he strode towards the depths of the cavern in front of him, and quietly, some black-red lines had crawled all over his cheeks again.
Angus fell silently to his knees, how long had he remained in this position without moving a single step? Angus thought with some distraction in his heart, he had forgotten, maybe a few hours, half a day, or a whole day? Who cares? Angus thought to himself.
Looking at the altar in front of him, which was slightly tall because of kneeling on the ground, he bowed his head slightly, and only by looking at the creation of the great Lord could it deeply suppress some of its own desires, some desires that had begun to belong to no human beings... Suddenly, Angus's ears moved slightly, and the faint sound of steady footsteps echoed in this slightly dead space.
In the dark shadows, a tall, sturdy figure slowly walked out, and Canos looked at the huge space in front of him, and glanced at it roughly, looking at the large area of reddish liquid and the huge altar in the center with some fear. After staring at him for a moment, a few thoughts flickering through his mind, Canos turned his gaze to the figure in front of him, kneeling on the ground with his back to him, dressed in a scarlet robe.
The whole space is only illuminated by some faint fluorescent stones, which is extremely dim and gloomy. The pale red water shimmered with a faint luster, unusually strange and deep.
Canos looked at the figure who couldn't see the man and woman clearly under the wide robe, "Who are you?" Are you the one behind the scenes? Or were you also coerced? Canos crossed his arms and said with great interest, if there was some information, he wouldn't mind talking to the guy in front of him.
In the shadows that Canos could not see, Angus's pupils spun rapidly, writhing, and then contracted abruptly, his whole eyes turned into pitch black, and a dark red light slowly rose in his eyes, he lowered his head and said in a deep voice: "My name is... Angus, if there are no surprises, you should be right behind the scenes. There was no coercion..."At this moment, a banging sound sounded, and at the moment when the sound seemed to have not dissipated, Canos's powerful punch had already arrived, and it was about to slash at Angus's kneeling back!
"Then you... Just die! Karnos's cruel voice had only just sounded until now!
