Chapter 0054, Underground Tomb
Although it is a Yin soldier crossing the border, our group is not vegetarian. I've fought iron corpses and jealous ghosts. Not to mention anything else, even the sand mallet hacked to death a few days ago is also a terrible guy. That guy in Zhengyang is even more unfathomable, even if there are Yin soldiers, he may not be able to fight for a while. Thinking of this, my mind also settled down a little.
"Let's ignore the fucking Yin soldiers for now, and search this tomb carefully!"
Li Dazui was excited at this time, probed around in the tomb, and said: "Also, if you don't feel the bottom inside, I'm afraid that if you don't get the things outside, you will be killed by the things inside!" ”
When he said this, we also felt that it made sense.
We look closely at this burial chamber, and the more we look, the more wrong it becomes. It is not so much a tomb as a Buddhist hall, and it is a hidden Buddhist hall. We all know that Buddhism in India is divided into primitive Buddhism and new Buddhism, and there are Mahayana schools headed by Nagarjuna Bodhisattva and Hinayana schools headed by Kasya-Ananda. The Hinayana sect of Buddhism was introduced from the Yueshi Kingdom in the Western Regions to the White Horse Temple in the mainland, and later Bodhidharma went to the Shaolin Temple to spread the Dharma, which began to open the Mahayana school of Buddhism, and even completely sinicized Zen Buddhism.
This burial chamber does not resemble Mahayana, but rather has Hinayana features. It is recorded that in the 1st century B.C., Buddhism was introduced into Khotan, and the king of Khotan devoutly believed in and promoted Buddhism, and vigorously built Buddhist temples and Zhuangluan Buddha statues in Khotan, and painted murals, and Buddhism achieved supremacy in Khotan, and Khotan became the holy place of Mahayana Buddhism. The Jin Dynasty monk Fa Xian's "Records of the Buddha's Kingdom", the Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang's "Records of the Western Regions of the Tang Dynasty", and the Tibetan text of the "Records of the Kingdom of Khotan" all have many descriptions of the Khotanese Buddhist Kingdom.
Since the introduction of Buddhism, Khotan is the most prosperous place of incense in the Tarim Basin, as the birthplace of Chinese Mahayana Buddhism, many eminent monks in the mainland are the first to go to Khotan, it can be said that this is the "little West Heaven" of Chinese Buddhism, and it is also the "place where Buddhism gathers".
The tomb is 2 meters long from north to south and 1.7 meters wide from east to west, and the Buddha statue is close to the north wall, and the murals are exquisite. His scale and sophistication are also comparable only to the ruins of the No. 1 Buddhist Temple of Toplukdun in Damagou.
It can also be explained that this is the tomb of an enlightened monk, and the Buddhist chamber has been artificially sunk into the tomb and covered with the real burial chamber. This kind of tomb situation is the same as the principle of Shenjiang burial in Chu during the Warring States Period. Wu Zixu whipped the corpse and sent people to intercept the river to dig up the grave before digging out the tomb of the king of Chu.
In this way, although the tomb is small, the project is huge. In the Mughal Dynasty of Tianzhu Kingdom, there were many incidents of bringing monks to the temple for burial. In 1992, Indian archaeologists discovered a similar burial. So which monk in Khotan is this tomb?
How can the style of this damn mural be similar to Zhu Ran's tomb! "Li Dazui had heard me talk about Zhu Ran's tomb, unearthed many lacquer paintings, and searched for murals through his mobile phone, so he was more impressed by these.
I took a closer look, and sure enough, the style of this mural is very special, and most of the tombs in Khotan are in the Gandhara style, with some line drawings of the Han Dynasty at most. However, the murals in this burial chamber are not so much paintings as brick carvings, and a large number of Zhu Xuan and Xuan colors are painted on the concave and convex parts of the carving, which is typical of the Han Dynasty style.
The murals are quite rustic, with fine lines, and there are some early styles of Dunhuang murals.
"Brother Xiaoxia, what kind of story is this mural about?"
"Wait, I'll take a closer look!"
In the first mural, a bearded monk with a high nose and curly hair sits cross-legged and holds a Bayeux Sutra. After a few strokes, a Han man sat on the ground, as if pious and taught, and several small monks stood there to serve.
"This painting is about a monk teaching scriptures, a picture of a Han person receiving ordination!"
In the second mural, in the vast desert, a walking monk walks with difficulty, carrying a backpack and holding a whisk in his hand, as if he is a monk who is about to travel west.
"This is about a monk who traveled west to seek the Dharma, passing through the desert, and the journey was extremely difficult!"
In the third mural, an old monk, holding a scroll in his hand, entrusted to the disciple who was about to set off, looked at the east from afar, seemed to be reluctant, and his eyes revealed a strong feeling for the east, which is a person who is empty of the five aggregates and should not be revealed.
After reading this painting, I thought about it carefully: "If I guessed correctly, the monk in this painting should be Zhu Bajie during the Three Kingdoms?" ”
"Brother Xiaoxia, don't tease me, Zhu Bajie, hahahaha, what about Sun Wukong?"
"Ignorance!" Dong Tong glanced at Li Dazui coldly.
Zhu Shixing, a senior monk of the Three Kingdoms, with the name of the Eight Precepts, studied under the Tianzhu Law Shamen Tanhe Jialuo, Zhu Shixing first ascended the altar to receive ordination, becoming the first Han monk in Chinese history, and the first monk to go west to learn scriptures and seek the law. After Zhu Shixing became a monk and was ordained, he studied and explained the "Sketch Prajna" in Luoyang, and felt that the translation of the scriptures into Chinese was not finished. Because the translator omitted a lot of the content that he could not understand, the meaning of the words was unclear and incoherent. When he heard that there was a complete "Da Pin Jing" in the Western Regions, he decided to travel far away to find the original.
In 260 AD, he set out from Yongzhou (now northwest of Chang'an County), crossed the desert of quicksand to Khotan (now Hotan, Xinjiang), and indeed obtained the Sanskrit version of the "Great Product Sutra". He copied there, copying 90 chapters and more than 600,000 words. In 282 AD, Zhu Shixing sent his disciple Fu Rutan and others to send the copied scriptures back to Luoyang, and he remained in Khotan, where he later died at the age of 79. ”
"Boy, you said this could be Zhu Shixing's cemetery?"
"If the mural is correct, there is a chance that it will be nine times out of ten!"
The fourth mural is very strange, as if a temple has been buried in the ground, and there is a deep pit at the bottom of the temple, and there are many people in it, all kinds of things, just like the tributary pictures of ancient China. However, those people's faces were pale, their eyes were slightly closed, and they didn't feel a trace of vitality. This mural has no relationship with the owner of the tomb, so I can't understand it, and these many people don't look like burial objects.
?
"This mural, I don't see the famous hall for the time being, it is estimated that it is a funeral procession for the owner of the tomb!"
?
"The funeral procession? Then why don't you see the coffin? ”
?
"Hmmm! The strangeness in this, if there is no literature to support it, I am bored to understand! "I kept staring at the mural and thinking about it, and there were other people who looked at the mural and some who wandered around the world. The bald head seems to be a brute, and he is completely interested in these, and he barely listens to me finish this paragraph.
?
The bald head seemed to be dizzy when he heard it, and the cat was about to go out, striding forward, as if he was in a hurry, for this kind of reckless action, we naturally wanted to stop it, and asked, "What are you going to do?" ”
"What can the tomb of an old monk be robbed of...... The wind was gusting outside, and I went out to get a door panel to block it! Out of sight, out of mind......"
"Don't go!"
"It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter......"
Maybe it was our negligence, so we let the bald head go out to block the door, who knew that the "door" that had just been blocked was hit with a "bang", only to see the bald head rush in with a breath, and when he rushed to my side, he sat on the ground with a butt, a fat face was pale, and he muttered vigorously: "Paper, paper man......"
"Paper man?"
Li Dazui frowned and said, "I said that the bald head is strong, can you speak to explain it?" What kind of paper man? Look at your cowardice, you're scared silly! ”
"You know the, that thing is scary!"
The bald head shouted exaggeratedly: "When Lao Tzu blocked the door, he picked up a jade by the way, and I felt cold on my buttocks." Turning my head to see that it was a paper man, it was still smiling at me, almost not scared Lao Tzu to death, Lao Tzu had an idea, spit hard, smeared it, and knocked the door over directly, and I ran in! ”
"I guess the Yin Soldier has arrived!"
Zhengyang carried the Chunjun sword on his back, and flew out of the tomb without raising his head, and a whirlwind blew in with cold air.
After waiting for more than ten minutes, Zhengyang, who had just rushed out, finally came back, but his hair was messy, and his clothes were torn in several places, looking a little embarrassed. ”
Li Dazui saw the talisman in his hand and his color changed greatly: "Zhengyang, what is it outside, why did you even take out this talisman?" ”
A trace of jealousy flashed in Zhengyang's eyes, and he gritted his teeth and said four words word by word: "Yin!" Soldier! Borrow! Road! ”
As soon as Zhengyang's words were finished, the faces of everyone in the tomb suddenly changed...... Even the hairballs in the backpack began to get restless......
According to the record of "Maoshan Secrets", the Yin soldiers borrowed the way, which is nothing more than the following three situations......
The first scenario is the Great War, where there was a large-scale bloody clash in which these soldiers died. Most of them are in a foreign country, their grievances do not disappear, and they grow up over the years, and they become the yin soldiers of the separatist side. Mainly when the mortal enemy appears, these Yin soldiers will launch an attack until both sides are defeated, or the winner is divided.
The second is that the Yin soldiers of the underworld come to the yang world to catch the yin soul on a large scale, the Yin soldiers and the yin difference in the underworld are actually two concepts, the yin difference is not high in the underworld, similar to the ancient errand service, to put it bluntly, it is for the ghost king, the underworld handsome, these errands, come to the yang to hook the soul of the dead. And the Yin soldiers are different, their status in the underworld is the regular army, the army raised by those ghost kings and underworld commanders!!
When there are natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and famines in the yang world, resulting in large-scale population extermination, the underworld is full, and the yin world is not enough to come to the yang world to capture the yin souls, at this time, the yin soldiers will appear in large numbers in the yang world and wantonly capture those yin souls who are dead and refuse to go to reincarnation!!
The third is the war of the underworld......
