650, Burning Legion

As the Titans continue to reshape the worlds of the universe, the Pantheon's most powerful warrior, Sargeras, and his companion Agrama serve as their first line of defense against the evil forces of the Twisted Void. Their duty is to constantly destroy demons from the Twisted Void to prevent them from invading the physical universe. Since the demons that enter the physical universe cannot be truly killed, and their souls can only return to the Twisted Void to be resurrected, Sargeras uses the power of the Void to create a powerful evil prison.

The world, known as Marton, became an impregnable fortress that forever imprisoned all the demons defeated by Sargeras.

For tens of millions of years, Sargeras has fought against the forces of the Void, contacting and imprisoning all kinds of demons. But soon, the mighty warrior discovers to his horror that he still knows nothing about the secrets of the Void. On a remote, remote planet, Sargeras encounters the Elder Gods, the most powerful and fearsome beings of the Void Lords.

They are like endless mountains of flesh and blood, devouring this devastated world. What's even more terrifying is that there is a star soul inside this planet, that is, it will awaken into a Titan one day in the future. But the star soul has been captured by the whispers of the Elder God, and it is indulging in creepy nightmares.

Sargeras captures and tortures a gang of Nasrezm and receives a terrifying message that the Void Lords who rule the Twisted Void want to use the Titans of the Corrupted Star Soul Age to turn them into spokesmen for exercising the will of the Void in order to devour the physical universe once and for all.

Sargeras killed the sleeping star soul in fear and immediately returned to the Pantheon to relay the news to the other Titans. However, the other Titans did not understand his actions, and instead reprimanded him for killing his own people without asking for help from the Pantheon. Sargeras was so disappointed with the Pantheon that he decided to find a way to fight the Void on his own.

The solution that Sargeras found in his despair was to destroy all matter in the universe, thus completely eradicating the influence of the Void Lord on this universe. He believes that since the universe once gave birth to life on its own, then after all existence has been eliminated, life in the universe can naturally bloom again and enter a new era. Sargeras then destroyed the Prison of Marton, and the spurt of evil energy changed his posture - an irresistible god burning with evil fire, and the demons and void creatures he had defeated and imprisoned in the past trembled under his rage. He commanded the demons to make a choice: obey him, or perish forever. Thus was born the Burning Legion, who, led by the Dark Titans, used their evil powers to turn the worlds into a sea of fire.

In the distant world of Argus, a powerful and prosperous civilization flourished once again. Sargeras took a fancy to the wisdom and strength of the Eredans, and he contacted the three main leaders of the Eredas: Kil'Gardan, Akmund, and Viren. In exchange for the loyalty of the Eredas, Sargeras gave them untold power and forbidden knowledge.

While Sargeras's offer sounded tempting, Viren had a terrifying premonition of the future. Sargeras is blunt: the Eredas who follow him do have access to knowledge and power like never before, but they can also be transformed into demons. Kilgardan and Akmund were seduced by Sargeras's promise. They swore allegiance to Sargeras and became gigantic and evil creatures as a result.

The prayers of the almost desperate Viren were not in vain, a mysterious being came to him, and with the help of this self-proclaimed Naru race, Viren immediately summoned the Eredas who did not want to follow Sargeras. They refer to themselves as Delaney, which means "exile" in the Eredan language. The Draenei escaped from the world of Argus, and the demons followed. Kilgardan believes that Viren has betrayed him, and is enraged by this, vowing to search every corner of the universe and destroy Viren and the Draenei.

The world that the Dark Titan wants to destroy most is Azeroth. This planet means a lot to him—it was once completely infected by the Elder Gods and saved by the Titan Guardians led by the Pantheon. What's more, it's the first world with a star soul to encounter since Sargeras began his burning expedition.

The Legion used the power generated by the Night Elves' misuse of arcane magical power as an opportunity to invade Azeroth for the first time. The war spread throughout the world, and in the end, thanks to the efforts of the demigod Cenarius, the Night Elf hero Malfario, Tyrande, the guardian dragons Alexstasa and Ysera, and the spouse of Nozdom, Sargeras was unable to step through the portal set up on the Well of Eternity, and the Well of Eternity was blown up. The first invasion of the Burning Legion failed.

Sargeras later designed to enter the body of the Guardian Egwen, taking control of her child, the last Guardian, Medivan, Karazhan's former master. His hench, Kil'Gardan, seduced the orcs living in Draenor, using the Warlock Gul'dan and his Shadow Council to manipulate the entire orc tribe behind his back. The orcs invaded Azeroth with the help of Medivan, and after a protracted war, they were eventually defeated by the Alliance, and almost all of the orcs were sent to concentration camps to be guarded. And since the death of the human wizard Medivan, who was possessed by the soul of Sargeras, there have been no more rumors of seeing the Dark Titan. In Sargeras's absence, the Demon Lord Kilgardan took over the leadership of the Legion.

Due to a failed orc invasion, Kil'Gardan captured Gul'dan's mentor, Neozu, and turned him into the Lich King to unleash the plague of the undead in Azeroth, thus raising a mighty Scourge Legion of corpses, ghosts, and other dark creatures. The Scourge opened the portal for the Legion to invade the world, and an army of demons led by Akmund swept in and attempted to seize the World Tree in Mount Hyjal. Eventually, with the help of Medivan's spirit, the Alliance and the Horde banded together to defeat the Burning Legion at the Sacred Mountain of Hyjal, and Akmund was wiped out by the wrath of the World Tree.

Although the Burning Legion was defeated at the Battle of Hyjal, many of the demons of the world of Azeroth survived. These demons come together to form small groups throughout the world of Azeroth, and they are often in contact with each other, as occasionally they act in tandem. Some demons are spreading corruption or guarding military bases; Other demons come together to accomplish some unknown plan.

Kilgardan, as the current leader of the legion, was clearly not happy with his previous plans. In the original book, he would soon send himself to the world of Azeroth through the Well of the Sun on the island of Queldanus as a portal, and resurrect Kael'thas Sunstrider who died in the Outlands in the Storm Fortress to summon himself. This behavior caused panic throughout the world of Azeroth, and once Kil'Gardan stepped into the world of Azeroth, the world of Azeroth would face one of the most terrifying wars in tens of thousands of years.

Soon, Azeroth was able to take action, gathering a powerful coalition of draenei and blood elves, the Shattered Sunbreakers, an organization led by Naru, composed of Aldor and astrologers, whose purpose was to crush the Kael'thas Sunstrider's plot in the Sunwell Heights. Kael'thas Sunstrider was overwhelmed by the shattered Sunbreaker soldiers who poured into the Sunwell Heights. When he dies again, Kil'Gardan's plan to descend on Azeroth in the Sunwell Heights is in full swing. In the end, with the help of the Blue Dragon Karegos and Anvina, the incarnation of the Sunwell, the Shattered Sun Coalition crushed the Burning Legion's conspiracy in one fell swoop. Although the price was tragic - Anvina's sacrifice caused a powerful explosion of energy to destroy the portal, and Kil'Gardan was driven back into the Dark Void.

The Burning Legion has suffered yet another defeat and will no longer be threatening Azeroth anytime soon. However, the main force of the Burning Legion is still in the warped void, and the demon army may come again, and more importantly, the master of the Burning Legion, Sargeras, is not completely dead, and he is still waiting for the right time somewhere.

Sargeras was very disappointed with Kil'Gardan's approach. In order to please his master, and more importantly, to wash away the shame of a series of defeats, Kil'Gardan abandoned the previous invasion. Instead of supporting a golem, he opens a portal that needs to be strengthened to send demonic forces into Azeroth. The fraudsters took a more secure and direct approach by sending the Burning Legion's fleet directly into orbit on Azeroth, using the Tomb of Sargeras as a teleportation node to plunge fleets, soldiers, and war machines directly into Azeroth's atmosphere. The entire world was forced to unite against the most violent invasion, resulting in the largest and most intense war since the birth of Azeroth.

The first wave of the Legion's offensive took a heavy toll on Azeroth, with both the Alliance and the Horde losing their beloved leader. Soon, however, the demonic invasion was thwarted by the combined forces of the mortals of Azeroth, who had been tested by war, suffering, and death—the Night Elves recruited by the Legion were once and for all defeated in the Night Fortress of Sulama; The Legion fleet assembled at Broken Beach was nearly wiped out, and the Tomb of Sargeras was attacked; Kilgardan himself died on his own flagship...... But victory was far from coming. Using the Sagrit's Keystone, the Legion's time-traveling artifact, Illidan Fury has brought the planet of Argus very close to Azeroth, and this time it is the mortals of Azeroth to attack, and the Footmen will go deep into Argus to face the greatest fears in the Legion's core world and end the burning crusade once and for all.

Whether voluntarily or forced by their own addiction to magic, many creatures have fallen under the control of the Titan Sargeras and pledged allegiance to him in exchange for the immortal life and unimaginable powers that Sargeras bestowed upon them. For this enticing promise, many races joined the Legion. But not all legionnaires are conscious. Some of them were mere beasts, but they had the misfortune of catching Sargeras's attention. While most Legion members are demons, there are exceptions, such as Hellfire.

Regardless of the situation, willing or not, when a creature's body is filled with demonic energy, it will be transformed into a demon. Not all demons are part of the Legion, as exemplified by Illidan Fury, but over the millennia, Sargeras has created countless demons to support the scale of his Legion of Destruction.

All the demons were once afraid of the immense power and wrath of Sargeras. However, most demons are completely subordinate to Sargeras because they are happy to do so. Those demons of the highest and wisest know the ultimate purpose of their creators. To this day, those demons are not afraid of the catastrophe they fought for, as Sargeras promised that they would rule the coming nascent universe.

In the past, the Legion focused primarily on worlds visited by the Titans. In the end, however, no world is truly safe: the Legion will eventually devour or destroy all life and magic. Unless destroyed, the Legion will inevitably accomplish its terrible purpose. Defeating it requires an army of comparable size and power. An army that fights for light, hope and peace, for the existence of the universe.

Now Duten wanted to build such an army, and with the most distant plot he knew, he was ready to use these things to convince Ysera.

Alexstrasza's huge body slowly landed, and a large cloud of dust shook up the moment it landed.

Green dragons of various sizes appeared around, and the first one was almost the size of Alexstrasza. However, this is a male dragon who is supposed to be one of Ysera's mates.

"Dokunitas, is Ysera in there?"

Alexstrasza asked slowly, looking at the huge green dragon in front of him.

"Alexstrasza ......" The dragon known as Dokunitas flapped its wings and landed in front of Alexstrasza, "I haven't seen you for a long time, how are you doing all these years?" And, the humans behind you...... You should understand that the Emerald Dream does not allow mortal races to enter in the flesh. ”

"I've had a good time all these years," Alexstrasza nodded, she tilted her head slightly, "This human, related to the future of Azeroth, he knows the information about the Burning Legion, and wants to build a large army to defeat the Burning Legion once and for all, I need Ysera's help, if she is there, let her come out to meet me." ”

"I'm sorry."

Dokunitas shook his head, "I don't know what you're talking about, Isera she'......"

"I'm here."

A familiar voice rang out, and Duten turned his head to see Ysera's figure slowly emerging from the massive building.
