"Duten?"
"Moody" never imagined that it would be Duten who appeared in front of him. www.biquge.info He thought he had got Harry, he thought his plan was foolproof, but he never expected that the plan would go wrong in the last step, and he took Duten, who was disguised as Harry, back to his office and explained everything like an idiot, only to be hit hard by the other party.
"How could it be you? Impossible, this impossible, how would you know all this, impossible! β
"Moody" roared and was about to stand up, but Du Teng stepped on his shoulder, and his wand almost pressed against his head to make him "drowsy", and "Moody" was completely defenseless, and collapsed on the ground motionless.
"Professor, you can come out."
After doing all this, Du Teng turned his head to the side and said.
Albus Dumbledore, Professor Snape, and Professor McGonagall stood in the doorway, with Dumbledore in front, wand in hand.
Dumbledore's face was so horrified when he looked at the unconscious Mad Eye Moody that it was beyond Harry's imagination. There was no kind smile, no spark of pleasure in the eyes behind the lenses. Every wrinkle on that old face was tinged with cold anger. Dumbledore radiated a power around him, as if he were burning.
He walked into the room, stuck a foot under Moody's body, and flipped him over, revealing his face. Snape followed, looking at the mirror on the wall, his face still looking into the room. Professor McGonagall walked straight to Harry.
"Let's go, Du Teng," she whispered, her thin lips trembling as if she were about to cry, "come with me, to the hospital......"
"Professor McGonagall, I'm fine." Du Teng smiled and shook his head.
"You have to go to the hospital, you've had enough today, you have to face that person......"
"He can stay, Minerva, and trust his powers," Dumbledore said simply, "and besides, I'll have to trouble you to come and bring Harry, and Harry will need to know what this is all about." Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and recovery is only possible after acceptance. He needed to know who had brought him through tonight's ordeal and why it had happened. β
"This ......" Professor McGonagall was stunned, looked down at Moody on the ground, and finally nodded, "Okay." β
Professor McGonagall left, and she returned with Harry about ten minutes later.
Harry had gauze wrapped around his head, and as soon as he entered the door, he could see what was going on inside, and he couldn't react. Du Teng stepped forward and briefly explained, and Harry's eyes widened suddenly.
"Moody," Harry said, but he still couldn't fully believe it, "how could it be Moody?" β
"That's not Alastor Moody," Dumbledore said calmly, "you don't know Alastor Moody. The real Moody isn't going to want to get you away from me after what happened tonight. As soon as he wanted to take you, I knew itβso I followed. And fortunately, he took Du Teng with him, otherwise we would have been half a step late...... The consequences are unimaginable......"
Dumbledore bent down and pulled out a curved bottle and a bunch of keys from a stuporous Moody. Then he turned to look at Professor McGonagall and Snape.
"Severus, please go get your most powerful elixir, and go to the kitchen and get a house-elf named Twinkle. Minerva, please take a run to Hagrid's house, he has a big black dog in his pumpkin patch. You bring the dog to my office and tell him I'll be there in a moment, and then you come back here. β
Snape and McGonagall may have thought the instructions strange, but they didn't reveal them. The two immediately turned and left. Dumbledore walked over to a chest with seven locks, inserted the first key into the keyhole, and opened the box to reveal a stack of spell books. Dumbledore closed the chest, inserted the second key into the second lock, and opened it again, and instead of spell books, it contained various broken speculums, some parchment and quills, and a silver cloak of invisibility.
Harry watched in amazement as Dumbledore inserted the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth keys into the lock, opening the chest, and each time something was different. Finally he slipped the seventh key into the lock and lifted the lid of the box, and Harry exclaimed.
At the bottom of the box turned out to be a large pit, like a basement. About three meters deep lay a man on the floor, skinny as wood, as if asleep. It's the real Mad-Eye Moody. His wooden legs were gone, the eyelids of the MONOCULUS were empty, and the gray hair was missing a few pinches. Harry looked at Moody, who was sleeping at the bottom of the box, and at Moody, who was unconscious on the floor of the office, and was shocked.
Dumbledore climbed into the box and landed gently beside the sleeping Moody, leaning over to look at him.
"Knocked unconscious, and under the Imperius Curse, he's very weak now." "Of course, they need to keep him alive," he said. Harry, throw the fake Moody's cloak down, he's frozen. He needs to be handed over to Madam Pomfrey, but his life is not in danger yet. β
Harry complied.
Dumbledore put his cloak over Moody, covering him tightly, and climbed out of the box.
He picked up the curved bottle on the table, unscrewed the lid, turned it upside down, and a sticky liquid spilled onto the office floor.
"Polyjuice potion, Harry," Dumbledore said, "look how simple and ingenious it is. Moody has a notoriously notoriously only used the curved bottle he carries with him. Of course, the impostor needs to keep the real Moody's by his side in order to constantly make the decoction. Look at his hair......" Dumbledore said, looking at Moody in the box, "has been cut for a year, and does he see anything untidy?" But I think our fake Moody's may have been overexcited tonight and forgot to drink his pills on time...... We'll see. β
Dumbledore pulled out the chair in front of the table and sat down, his eyes fixed on the unconscious Moody on the floor. Harry stared at him as well. Minutes and seconds passed in silence. Du Teng stood aside boredly, picked up a book and flipped through it casually. He remembered this plot very well, so he intervened directly in all this, and now all he had to do was watch the situation continue to develop.
As he waited, the face of the man on the ground changed, the scars gradually disappeared, the skin smoothed, and the mutilated nose grew and shrunk. The long gray hair is shortening and turning a yellowish color. Suddenly, there was a thud, and the wooden leg fell to the side, and a real leg grew. Then, the enchanted eyeball popped out of its socket, and a real eye took its place. The magic eye rolled to the floor, still dripping and spinning.
He was pale-skinned, slightly freckled, and had pale yellow tousled hair. Harry knew the man, having seen him in Dumbledore's meditation basin. When he saw him taken from the courtroom by the Dementors, he defended his innocence to Mr. Crouch...... But now he has wrinkles at the corners of his eyes and looks much older......
Hurried footsteps rang out in the hallway. Snape returned with Flash, Professor McGonagall following closely behind.
"Crouch!" Snape stood in the doorway, "Barty Crouch, Jr.!" β
"Oh my God." Professor McGonagall stood there, glaring at the man on the ground.
Scruffy sparkle poked its head out of Snape's lap. She opened her mouth wide and let out a piercing scream.
"Young Master Barty, Master Barty, what are you doing here?"
She threw herself on the young man's chest.
"You killed him! You killed him! You killed the master's son! β
"He's just under the stun spell, Flash." Dumbledore said, "Get out of the way. Severus, did you get the potion? β
Snape handed Dumbledore a vial of clarified liquid, the same truth-spitting potion he had mentioned when he threatened Harry in class. Dumbledore stood up and bent down to drag the man on the ground up, making him sit against the wall under the mirror. In the mirror, Dumbledore, Hook, and McGonagall were still looking at them. Twinkle was still on her knees, her hands over her face, trembling all over.
Dumbledore opened the man's mouth, poured three drops of potion, and pointed his wand at the man's chest and said, "Rise quickly!" β
Crouch's son opened his eyes, his gaze blank and his cheeks flabby.
Dumbledore crouched in front of him, face to face.
"Can you hear me?" Dumbledore asked calmly.
The man's eyelids twitched a few times.
"I can hear you." He whispered.
"I want you to tell us," Dumbledore said gently, "how did you end up here, how did you escape from Azkaban?" β
Little Crouch took a deep breath with a shudder, and spoke in an emotionless, flat tone.
"My mother saved me. She knew she was going to die, and begged my father to get me out, which was the last thing she would do for her. My father loved her very much, even though he never loved me. He agreed. They came to see me together and gave me a dose of polyjuice decoction with my mother's hair in it. My mother drank a polyjuice decoction with my hair. We exchanged looks. β
Twinkle shook her head, trembling all over.
"Don't say it, Master Barty, don't say it, you're going to get your father in trouble!"
But little Crouch took another deep breath and continued to speak in a flat voice.
"Dementors are blind people who smell a healthy man and a dying man walking into Azkaban, and a healthy man and a dying man leaving Azkaban. My father smuggled me out. I pretended to be my mother, in case a prisoner could see through the crack in the door. It didn't take long for my mother to die in Azkaban. She never forgot to drink the compound decoction, and when she died, she was still my appearance, and she was buried as me. Everyone thought it was me. β
The man's eyelids twitched.
"What did your father do with you when he brought you home?" Dumbledore asked calmly.
"Pretending my mother died. A secret funeral was held, the grave was empty, and the house-elves nursed me back to health. My father wanted to hide me and control me, and he had to use a lot of spells to restrain me. After I recovered my strength, I only wanted to find my master...... Serve him again. β
"How did your father restrain you?" Dumbledore asked.
"The Imperius Curse," said Crouch Jr., "was controlled by my father and forced to wear an invisibility cloak from morning till night. I've been with house-elves all the time. She was my caretaker. She took pity on me and persuaded my father to give me some preferential treatment at times as a reward for doing well to me. β
"Master Barty, Master Barty," Sparkle sobbed as she covered her face, "you shouldn't have told them that we'd be unlucky......"
"Has anyone found you alive?" Dumbledore asked softly, "Aside from your father and the house-elves?" β
"Yes," Crouch's eyelids twitched again, "a witch in my father's office, Bertha Jorkins. She came to my house with the papers and signed them for my father. My father wasn't home, so Sparkle ushered her into the house and went back to the kitchen to take care of me. But Bertha Jorkins heard Twinkle talking to me and came over to check, and she could guess who was under the cloak of invisibility. When my father returned, she asked him in person. He cast a very powerful amnesia spell on her, causing her to completely forget the secrets she had discovered. The spell was so powerful that my father said it had caused permanent damage to her memory. β
"Why does she want to meddle with my master's private affairs?" Twinkle sobbed, "Why didn't she let us go?" β
Dumbledore then asked a lot of questions, and Barty Crouch Jr. explained everything, even how they attacked Moody and infiltrated Hogwarts, and even how he killed his own father.
"I waited for my father to arrive at Hogwarts for a week. Finally, one night, the map showed my father entering the venue. I put on the cloak of invisibility and went to meet him. He was walking on the edge of the Forbidden Forest when Potter and Krum arrived, and I waited a moment. I can't hurt Potter, my master needs him. While Potter was running to find Dumbledore, I knocked Krum unconscious and killed my father. β
"No!" Twinkle wailed, "Young Master Barty, Master Barty, what are you talking about?" β
"You killed your father," Dumbledore said in a calm voice, "what was done with the body?" β
"Carry it back into the woods and cover it with an invisibility cloak. I had the map with me, and I saw Harry running into the castle and bumping into Snape, and Dumbledore coming out. I saw Harry take Dumbledore out of the castle and come out of the woods, go around behind them, and go up to greet them. I told Dumbledore that Snape told me.
Dumbledore told me to go to my father. I went back to my father's corpse, looked at the map, and when everyone was gone, I recited the Transfiguration Charm on the corpse, turning it into bones...... Then I put on the cloak of invisibility and buried it in the freshly dug dirt in front of Hagrid's hut. β
There was silence, only Twinkle was still sobbing.
Then Dumbledore said, "...... tonight"
"I offered to put the Triumph Cup into the maze before dinner," Barty Crouch Jr. whispered, "turning it into a portkey." My master's plan succeeded. He's rejuvenated, and I'll be rewarded in a way that all wizards can't ever dream of. β
A perverted smile appeared on his face again, and his head drooped.
There was silence in the room, except for Twinkle crying beside him. (To be continued.) )
