611, Twilight and the Bugs

Silysus is a desert similar to Tanaris, but without the friendly goblins that supply drinking water like the latter. Despite this, frequent precipitation has kept the diversity of life high, at least higher than in places like the Glitter Plains. The plants here are able to store water, and travelers can collect cacti to get water.

The most terrifying thing about Silysus is the storms and sandnadoes that frequently blow over rocks and cliffs. To make matters worse, wandering air and earth elementals hide in all corners, waiting for an opportunity to attack creatures that pass by, but their range is mostly confined to the depths of the desert far from settlements. In addition to the bugs, Silisus has two major groups: the elves of the Council of Cenarion, and a group of rebels known to the world called the Twilight's hammer.

That's right, this is the cultist that everyone is very familiar with, and it is easy to see in all versions. These cultists come from all over the world, from all races, and each of them is convinced that in the near future, the Elder Gods will break the prison that imprisoned them and return to this world, restoring order to the time before the arrival of the Titans. This means that others often come to these fanatics for "theories", but this deterrent does nothing to stop them from frantically bringing the Last Judgment into the world.

While most factions don't like Twilight's hammer very much, the biggest threat to them comes from organizations with other faiths, such as the Council of Cenarion and Silver Dawn. And they did strike at some of the Twilighthammer's squads or organizations, but the foundation of the Twilight's hammer was not shaken by this. Indeed, what they worship is older than anything else.

Of course, the original initiators of this organization and cult were not natives of Azeroth. The Twilight Hammer clan was originally founded by an ogre named Gurgar. The Twilight Hammer clan is a religious fanatic clan loyal to the Shadow Council led by Gul'dan and others, this particular clan is composed of orcs and ogres, they believe that this universe is ruled by a group of unspeakable ancient gods, in the sacrifice to the shadows, Gurgar touched the void of the universe, so he named his clan Twilight's hammer.

Ogres are native creatures of the continent of Draenor, descendants of Goron. They are tall and powerful, and to outsiders they lack sufficient intelligence and are superstitious about brute force. But in fact, the ogre once founded a brilliant magical civilization in Draenor, and the power of the ogre empire spread throughout the entire Draenor world.

On the continent of Draenor, ogres, orcs, and draenei are the three largest races of humanoid creatures. Orcs and draenei could not talk about friendship and covenant until they were tainted by demons, but they lived in peace and traded regularly. The orcs traded their hunting meat and hides for gems and artifacts from the Draenei for what they thought was incredible. Ogres, however, are mortal enemies of orcs. Because they once enslaved orcs, even in the eyes of orcs, these savage creatures had little civilization to speak of.

However, after the Draenor Orc tribe planned to attack Azeroth, Gugar was convinced that the Orc tribe represented the forerunners of the apocalypse, paving the way for the gods of the void to rule the universe. So they answered the Horde's call and crossed the Dark Gate to attack the world of Azeroth.

When Gul'dan emerges from the war and begins his search for the tomb of Sargeras, the Twilight Hammer clan of Gurgar, as well as Gul'dan's own Tyranny Clan, follow him closely. However, for some reason, Gugar believed that once the tomb was opened, it would mean the end of the world, so he did not enter the tomb of Sargeras.

Upon learning of Gul'dan's second betrayal, Orgrim Doomhammer sent forces to purge the rebels and slaughter them. But Gugar took the opportunity to escape.

Although it was believed that Gugar might have died, he and a handful of his cronies had actually fled and fled all the way to Silisus. There, he discovered Angela, the ruins of the ancient Zerg subqui empire. There, Gugar discovers a terrifying power that can almost rival the leader of the Burning Legion, Sargeras, Kthun, one of the ancient gods sealed by the Titans in the primeval era.

Cthun and several other Elder Gods were sealed away after losing the battle between the Primeval and the Titans. After countless years of flowing, Cthun took control of Angela's Zermen. But in order to regain control of Azeroth, it is clear that Cthun needs more people to work for it. Wormoids weren't really suitable for anything other than Silishus, so they were too eye-catching, so Cthun chose Gugar.

After gaining the power of the Elder Gods, Gurgar organized the Twilight Hammer Cult and began to serve as a servant of the Elder Gods, so that the Elder Gods could return to the surface and secretly gather power in preparation for their evil master's return to the continent of Azeroth.

However, despite their dedication to the destruction of the world and their secretive actions, there are some organizations that have joined forces with Twilight's hammer in some way. The Twilight Hammers want to build an altar in the Flame Lord's lava temple, so they've sent some emissaries to the Blackstone Abyss.

The Black Iron Dwarves still don't trust the Twilight Hammer cultists, so instead of being allowed into the Molten Cavern, the Twilight Hammer is sent to assist them in managing the prison - apparently an arrangement that confirms the mutual benefit of the relationship. The Inquisitor Gstahn and his men sent by the Twilight Hammer also made the Black Iron Dwarves shudder because of their torture methods.

Similarly, in the Dark Abyss, a Naga clan is working with some of the Twilight's Hammer cultists. Naga are an upper-class elf cursed by the Elder Gods and share a common interest with Twilight's hammer.

On the surface, Twilight's Hammer is an organization formed by a union of loose secret sects. Each sect is led by a Twilight King. Without exception, the leaders of these sects were charismatic, powerful, and brutal.

Only the most faithful and devout Christians can follow the Twilight King closely. This inner organization actually acts as a medium between the cultists and the Twilight Lords, and in doing so, it makes the Twilight Kings even more mysterious. The cultists, on the other hand, will regard their Twilight King as the embodiment of the dark forces they worship, and will obey him without objection.

Behind these independent sects are much larger organizations. The Twilight King forms a council to determine the direction of the organization. Although to outsiders all appear to be equal Twilight Lords, certain random choices persist that are determined by their own strength and prophecy powers, or by the favoritism of their masters. Those who dominate the Twilight Kings can rally the support of other Twilight Kings (by any means) to become Twilight Lords, enjoying special treatment in the Order. Basically all Twilight Kings are spellcasters, with only a few being war-type classes.

These different denominations are kept in touch with each other by a letter called the True Believer. True Believers was written and distributed by the high-ranking members of the Twilight Hammer in order to educate believers about the Apocalypse Day, the latest signs of the return of the Elder Gods and all that these monsters call "news".

One might think that such a publication could easily allow these believers to leak secrets, but this is not the case. First, "The True Believer" is written in an extremely perverted cipher. The tool for deciphering these codes—the Twilight Dictionary—is split into three parts, and they're all heavily guarded. Second, even if someone cracks the code, those articles are nothing more than fanatical pagan linguistic revelations. Anyone in their right mind probably won't like these things.

And every follower of the Twilight Hammer is convinced that Azeroth will return to the rule of the Elder Gods. Once the Elder Gods return, they will perform a complete purge of Azeroth, which the Twilight cultists call the "Twilight Trial".

At that time, all the creations of the usurper (Titans) will be destroyed. Only the truly pious will be able to live beyond Judgment Day.

According to Twilight's prophecy, most creatures with life-possessed forms will be destroyed, except for the Faceless, Twilight Dragon, Eternal Dragon, and Elemental Creatures, the chosen creatures, who will be able to share the glory of the Elder Gods in that new world shrouded in shadows, which is the scene that exists in the end of time. Therefore, expressing devotion to the Elder Gods and seeking forgiveness from the Elder Gods is the fanatical pursuit of every Twilighthammer member.

True devotion will be blessed by the Elder Gods to strip their flesh and blood through the Order's secret dark rituals, fill their souls with pure elementals, and transform themselves into a monstrous elemental creature, the so-called "Elemental Ascendant", thus gaining power beyond form and flesh. Finally bathe in the kindness of the ancient gods in a new world shrouded in twilight.

Osidis, the ascendant lord in the Blackstone Grottoes, and the Ascendant Council in the Twilight Citadel are both products of this ritual.

Being an Elemental Ascendant is undoubtedly the highest honor for all Twilight's Hammer followers, but there is more than one way for Twilight Followers to seek "Ascension". Blackstone Mountain's Twilight's Hammer Sacrifice Corra is able to use the Void Essence to transform cultists into Twilight Dragonmen. Major Mountain Museson, a high-ranking cultist lurking in Stormwind, can even use dark magic to transform himself into a Faceless.

The canon of Twilight's hammer also makes it clear that all the devout who have died in the great cause will also be reborn in the new world, and they will be reshaped by the ancient gods to gain true power beyond flesh, beyond form, beyond life and death, beyond mortal bodies!

Well, the more you look at it, the more you think that Twilight's hammer is actually a cult? That's right, they're a cult, from a Titan's point of view!

Because the Titans are planets, they can be said to be a stone giant in the universe, and the power of the ancient gods can corrupt Titans, turn hard rocks into flesh and blood, and turn their golden and iron skin into sponges.

Therefore, the Elder Gods and the Titans are essentially two completely different creatures, and the two sides are inherently opposed, so the Titans will be eager to destroy these flesh monsters.

But in fact, what if you look at it from a human perspective? If it weren't for the fact that these Elder Gods would eventually destroy Azeroth, and if it weren't for the fact that taking refuge in these Elder Gods would have made their bodies look strange, the devil knows how many people in this world would have aspired to become the Elder Gods' subordinates.

You know, whether you are loyal to the Titans or take refuge in the Void Lord, what does it have to do with ordinary people? What's more, if it weren't for the Flesh Curse, humans would not have been born so easily. You must know that those Titans, that is, the guardians of Azeroth, are all goldstone bodies, and the creations of the Titans they create are also cast from rock and metal.

And human beings, isn't it precisely because the creations of these creatures are infected with the curse of flesh and blood that they appear in this world little by little?

So for human beings, and for many other races, it doesn't matter who they turn to. Of course, this had to be based on the premise that the Old Gods would not destroy Azeroth. In fact, if Azeroth were completely overrun and corrupted by the Old Gods, the first planet to be destroyed would be beneath its feet. Therefore, the major camps, as well as the foot men, will spare no effort to press down the ancient gods over and over again.

Resurrection is not good, raising one's head is killing, and it must be killed to the end, and it must be killed until it does not dare to come forward.

There are no foot men in the real world, but in fact, the Horde and the Alliance are equally strong in combat, and in the original books, didn't they defeat Cthun? The same can be done in this life. Before they can beat Cthun, though, Duten has something to do.

After meeting with Gary Vix and briefly agreeing on an alliance between the two sides, Duten did not rush back to Pandaria, but came to Silisus as fast as he could, and instantly crossed the sky above Silisus, rushing into the ruins of Angela before the elves below found themselves.

It was full of bugs, as big as a steel chariot and as small as ants.

As soon as Du Teng landed, he accidentally stepped on hundreds of insects with one foot, he didn't care, but before he took two steps, he was surrounded by countless insects.

The Wall of Beetles is a seal that specifically restricts insects, and humans can enter and exit, of course, provided that it takes a little skill. But this is not difficult for Qianyu, or rather, it is difficult for the magic in his hand. After all, it is a completely different magic system from Azeroth, and with Azeroth's enchantment, it is difficult to stop him.

So he came in, and then he was fenced off.

"Click, click, click...... Click......"

"Click, click!"

"Click, click, click......"

The insects used the shaking of their tentacles to communicate, Du Teng didn't understand, he didn't bother to understand, he looked around, raised his foot and stepped on the ground hard, and a shock wave spread rapidly, shaking the hundreds of insects surrounding him.

"I know you don't speak human language, and I don't expect you to be able to communicate with me, it doesn't matter who I am, you don't need to know, and you don't have the right to know, call your leader out, and say that the prince of the human kingdom has come to visit, bringing news that several major races outside are ready to join forces to destroy you, if you don't want to die...... Better hurry! ”

Du Teng sneered, crossed his arms, and said with a lazy expression.
