Chapter 21: First Acquaintance with the Avengers
Yesterday afternoon, the S.H.I.E.L.D. building collapsed, but fortunately there were no casualties among nearby residents, and all the Hydra agents who infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. were wiped out.
Steve's wanted was also removed, and the rest of the people went about their normal lives, except for some construction work.
"Your mission is not over yet, and it's okay to have a late meeting."
Nick Fury sat in Stark Tower and made a cup of coffee.
After the S.H.I.E.L.D. building was blown up, it became a temporary gathering place for the Avengers.
"There's a lot of strife." He sighed.
"You should go and relax for a while." Stark walked out of the room: "The sunglasses are beautiful, much cooler than that blindfold."
"Thank you."
"Here they are."
Stark said suddenly.
The elevator door opens, and Steve and the rest of the Avengers walk out of it.
"If you had come to help at that time, S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't have collapsed."
Natasha, the Black Widow, casually walked over to the stage and poured herself and Bruce a glass of wine.
"Thank you." Bruce smiled shyly.
"I was out playing." Stark sat on the couch: "Besides, you didn't contact us."
"I'm sorry, I'm traveling." Bruce said.
"Something happened to Asgard." Thor said, "I'm going to find Loki's scepter."
Nick Fury stood in front of everyone: "This time I have gathered you to destroy Hydra's scientific and technological laboratory in Germany."
"Loki's scepter is there, too."
Nick looked at Thor.
"One more thing, we've got another monster in our city."
Nick used the remote control a little, and the image of Rengar appeared on the big screen.
"This cyborg, no matter how you say it, didn't do anything bad, just an old man."
"The first time was at the museum, and Steve stopped him."
"The second time it was Spider-Man who saved the old man."
"The old man has a lot of information, Stark, you know him." Nick looked at Stark, who was nonchalant.
"I fought in World War II, and then worked as a librarian, security guard, etc."
"I fought him." "He's very aggressive, and his combat experience is far superior to mine," Steve said.
With one hand, Nick said: "Since you haven't done anything bad, I hope you can meet him, and it is best to summon the Avengers."
"Who's going first?"
A virtual map appeared in front of everyone, with red points of light located on the hill of a pasture.
……
……
Rengar had bad luck today, it was the first time this had happened to him, and it was strange that every time the old man was about to die under his claws, there was a human with decent combat power to stop him.
Taking out the map and looking at the red dots on it, Rengar gradually calmed down, and his temper was a little more irritable than when he was in Valoran.
For a hunter, it is fatal.
"Hey! Lion Man! Hello! ”
A red strange man fell from the sky and stood firmly on the ground.
The bone knife was pulled out from his waist, and Rengar's legs were slightly bent, a sign that he was ready to attack.
"Hey, hey! Don't do this. ”
Stark hurriedly waved his hand.
"Listen to me!"
The palm cannon of his hand was inadvertently aimed at Rengar.
"You're a very strong fighter." Stark said, "I used to have that idea."
"Gather some people with special abilities and then protect the world."
"You are strong, we hope you can join the Avengers."
"I just want to get out of this world." Rengar said, turning to leave, ignoring Stark.
"You said you were leaving this world?" Stark seemed to hear something new.
"Are you from another world like Thor?"
Stark asked.
"Thor?" Rengar looked at Stark suspiciously.
"A blast from Asgard that summons thunder and lightning."
Stark explained.
"Not bad."
After saying that, Rengar turned and leaped, and disappeared into the vast forest, but was always tracked by satellites in the sky.
"It seems you didn't say anything about him."
Inside Stark's helmet, all the Avengers snickered.
"When did I get this nickname?"
Thor asked expressionlessly.
"I hope he won't cause a big deal, you guys go to Germany first, the Kun fighter is on the tarmac."
……
……
In the evening, the Avengers defeated Hydra's super soldiers in Germany, obtained the lost scepter, and the playboy made the host, and held an extremely grand banquet at Stark Tower.
In addition to the members of the Avengers, as well as some bigwigs of the commercial army.
Mr. Tans Lee and some of his old friends who fought in World War II also came here.
The banquet was held a little late, but the atmosphere was still very lively.
"This is the wine I brought back from Asgard, and it's been sitting for thousands of years."
Thor, dressed in a suit, took out a delicate small bottle from his pocket and said to his comrades.
"Pour a drop for each person, or you will get drunk."
With that, Thor bent the vials slightly, dripping the wine into the Avengers' cups one by one.
"Please bring me some." Tans Lee handed the cup over.
"Okay."
Thor shrugged.
Looking at that little bit of wine, the old man was a little unhappy: "Do you think I'll be drunk?" More more! ”
"You're going to get drunk, you can't drink anymore." Thor said.
"Hurry up, you big man, I've been on such a fierce battlefield, how could I get drunk with some wine."
Tans Lee urged.
"Seriously, you should stick to your bottom line." Natasha looked at the old man who was jumping and jumping with his glass in his hand and shook her head.
Rengar hid in a dark alley, quietly waiting for Tans Lee to arrive.
"I'm going to invite a ready Avenger." Stark said, looking at the surveillance on his phone.
In the corner of the building, a steel robot flies out of the building and lands in front of a small alley.
"Mr. Stark invites you to a drink, even if it's a sip."
The stout figure emerged from the darkness, and Reingar looked at the robot, which was two or three heads shorter than himself.
He hadn't thought of how he had been discovered, a mistake that only a low-level hunter would make.
"Take me in."
Rengar had to ask.
A tall lion man, dressed in hideous armor, walked in indifferently through the gate of the building.
I didn't care about the eyes of passers-by around me.
"Guys, a big guy is coming." Stark said as he looked at the video on the surveillance.
"Ding Dong!" The elevator doorbell rang, and even the war machines that told jokes turned their heads and looked at the elevator.
