632. The dilemma of the Alliance
The Swamp of Sorrows is located on the eastern coast of Azeroth, bordered by Red Ridge Mountain, the Headwind Trail, and the Cursed Lands. There are no major roads passing through this wetland, and it is almost an area that cannot be explored. A handful of inhabitants include orcs of a different race from the Burning Plains, some obnoxious green dragons, and the Draenei, enemies of the orcs, who now call themselves the Lost.
The inhabitants of this area are different from most areas, no one can understand what these humans, undead or even orcs are up to, and the swamp is full of unexpected things.
In the original planetimeline, the tribe would eventually land on this land. Although Thrall ordered the tribesmen to live in peace with the Alliance, it was difficult to maintain peace as the Alliance did not welcome orcs to the continent.
The northern part of this swamp is inhabited by the isolated, fallen Draenei, and in the east is the evil Green Dragon. This quiet swamp is still full of dangers in addition to the man-eating quagmire and monsters.
Aptly named this swamp, the sea water crusts the broken logs and rocks due to the deposition of salt. The road surface is only a few inches above the water's surface, and this painstaking construction makes it possible to travel around the area. This ruined land is made worse by swamp tigers, mud pond monsters, as well as crocodiles, multi-toothed monsters that lurk at the water's edge for travelers.
Due to the Swamp of Sorrow making an area forgotten, there are only a few inhabitants. The only way to survive here is to settle down with those who are strong.
However, none of this matters, and with the strength of the Alliance, there is no problem at all if you want to establish a foothold here and stay there for a long time. Even if the alliance is unwilling, it will definitely not be able to stop Du Teng's will, but the hidden enemies in this land are obviously not comparable to one or two alliance armies.
The sunken temple is actually the Temple of Atahaka. It is the place where the blood god Haka was suppressed, and the place where the Green Dragons sealed this evil god.
A thousand years ago, the mighty Gulabash Empire was torn apart by civil war. A group of high-ranking troll priests named Attalai attempt to summon an ancient bloody deity called Haka the Soul Reaver. Although these priests were eventually defeated and exiled, the great troll empire was still torn apart by civil strife.
The exiled priests fled to the swamps of sorrow in the north. There, they built a huge temple for Hakka and tried to return him to the physical world. The great guardian dragon Ysera learns of Attalai's plot and destroys the temple located beneath the swamp.
To this day, the submerged temple ruins are still guarded by the Green Dragons, preventing anyone from entering or leaving. But it is believed that some fanatical atalai survived the wrath of Ysera and is still worshipping the evil Haka.
For centuries after the Cataclysm, the Trolls spent their lives in extremely harsh conditions. Hunger and terror are the order of the day for the shattered empire, and the desperate Gulabash trolls to the help of the ancient powers, and while both troll empires believe in a common ancient god, the Gulabash is dominated by the darkest of gods.
Haka, the Soul Reaver – the dastardly bloodthirsty deity – decides to help the trolls upon hearing their call. Haka bestowed his blood on Gulabash and helped them expand their territory into most of the Valley of Thorns, as well as some of the islands in the South China Sea. Although he brought great power to the Gulabash Empire, Haka also hoped for more and more rewards.
This cruel god demanded that his soul be sacrificed to him every day. He dreamed of coming to the material world through this so that he could suck the blood of all living beings. Slowly, Gulabash realized the true nature of the god they had so lovingly worshipped and rose up to fight against it. The most powerful tribes revolted against Hakka and his faithful sacrifice, the Attalai.
The terrible war that took place between the followers of Haka and the tribes of Gulabash circulated only in whispers. The empire, which was just beginning to revitalize, was shattered by the magic unleashed by the angry evil god and his rebellious people. Just as the battle was about to end with Haka's victory, the trolls destroyed Haka's avatar and exiled him from the material world. Even the Atalai sacrifices were driven away from the capital city of Zur Grab and forced to survive in a northern swamp region that is not even mapped.
In these gloomy swamps, they built a great temple for the god Haka, the Temple of Atahaka, and continued to work there for their master......
One day, the Atalai priests felt that the power of Hakka had awakened again, and they became extremely fanatical. They shouted the name of their god, waiting for Haka's figure to re-enter the already traumatized Azeroth, allowing darkness to reign over the continent once more......
At this time, Ysera's Green Dragon Legion got the news, and they immediately rushed to stop the demon's plan. They bravely fought the trolls under the leadership of the green dragon Illaniku, and the green, red, and black blood soaked the swamp of sorrow...... However, when Haka's large, evil figure appeared on the battlefield, the tide of battle immediately began to turn, and the green dragons were defeated one after another, and Azeroth was about to fall into endless tribulation......
At this most critical moment, the green dragon warrior Illanicus suddenly let out an earth-shattering roar, unleashing all his energy, and the divine sword, the dragon summon, a symbol of the green dragon's power, was born!
"With the immensely powerful Dragon Summon, we drove Hakka back into the Twisted Void, but Illanicus' aura has been gone since that night, and we have always felt that the Dragon's Call has his soul attached to it. Although he is still in the sunken temple, the real Illanicus is gone, and the current one is only a shadow created by the forces of evil. Garantalas, a survivor of the Green Dragon Legion, said.
Later, the surviving Atalai priests discovered that the physical form of Haka could only be summoned in Zur Grab, the capital of the ancient Gulambash Empire.
As a result, these priests have recently secretly infiltrated the heart of the Qulambash ruins, and their work to summon Haka has made decisive progress.
A haka priest disguised as an archaeologist, the sorcerer Jindu. In normal times, he assumed the name of Yekia, secretly hid in the hot sand port outside Zulfarak, and hired warriors from all over the world to serve him with deceptive lies and large sums of money.
His orders were all bizarre, first to talk to the soul of the dead Flying Serpent, and then to go deep into Zulfarak to steal 2 ancient troll tablets.
However, the most difficult task is when you have worked so hard to retrieve the Ancient Egg from Hinterland, only to be put to an even tougher test - to the Temple of Haka, summon the avatar of Haka, and fill the Ancient Egg with Haka's soul.
The green dragon that suppressed the soul of Haka certainly did not allow this. But as a result of thousands of years of constant corruption by Haka, the Green Dragon itself has fallen into corruption and depravity. The warriors swung the sword of justice at the green dragon...... But who knew that this was just the beginning of another scam?
The surviving tribes of the Gulabash after the civil war remained in their ruined homeland, but took a different path, with the Sheaths, the Bloodtops, and the Darkspear fighting for jungle territory in the Valley of Thorns. Although they eventually reached a fragile peace, there were prophecies that Hakka would be reborn in this world one day, when he would destroy everything.
Duten knew that if his people were to gain a foothold in the land, the most important thing was to clear the temple.
No one knows how many trolls are left in the temple now, but it doesn't matter, since you don't know, you can just rush in.
The warriors of Gilneth smashed open the doors of the temple, and the sea began to pour in. The magicians cast spells to block out the sea, and then piles of soldiers marched into the temple in neat steps.
Duten walked in the middle of the group, followed by Ji and Haduron Mingyi, Sylvanas had returned to Silvermoon City, and Aisha stayed in Gilneth to help Duten manage some of the city's affairs.
On the other side, the alliance side also began to gather soldiers, and a major battle broke out with the enemy pouring out of the Black Rock Mountain.
One of the most fierce teams to stop humanity is composed of a group of orcs, and the leader of these orcs is the famous Red Black Hand.
He is the son of Blackstone, the leader of the Blackstone Clan, Blackhan the Destroyer. His father was the Horde's puppet Grand Chieftain before being killed by Orgrim Doomhammer. When the Orcs were defeated, he was imprisoned in Dunholden Prison along with his older brother Maim. Later, the Black Dragon Prince Nefarian rescued them for his own conspiracy, and now Red Blackhand has gathered his exiled Blackstone subordinates to form a new Blackstone Clan on the upper level of the Blackstone Tower, and is the current Blackstone Chieftain.
Before the world of Draenor collapsed, the Blackstone Clan was a powerful orc tribe that inhabited Gollund, known for their smelting and forging skills. When the Shadow Moon Clan Patriarch Nao Zu united the orc clans to form a tribe, the Blackstone Clan was one of the important tribal clans.
When Neozu won the victory over the Draenei, he also discovered the secret of Gul'dan's collusion with the Legion, and later lost his power over the Great Chief out of fear. Gul'dan and his Shadow Council supported and manipulated the bloodthirsty and violent Blackstone Clan leader Blackhan to become the Grand Chief of the Horde.
When the Horde made an expedition to the world of Azeroth, Red and Maim led the Blackstone Clan through the Dark Gate with their father, and quickly established numerous fortresses in the Swamp of Sorrows and the Red Ridge Mountains. After the Horde crossed the Dark Gate, Red and Maim led some of the Blackstone Orcs to split off and establish the Blacktooth Clan. When their father, Blackhan, was killed by Orgrim Hammer of Doom, an enraged Red and Maim decided to regain control of the Blackstone Clan and vowed to avenge their father by getting rid of Orgrim.
Although they won the support of many orcs and clans, they were not able to do so until the end of the war. Later, they were tasked with guarding the Dark Gate, but were defeated by the Alliance's forces. Eventually, the Dark Gate was destroyed, and the two were sent to the asylum together.
Speaking of Nefarian, the Black Dragon Prince has built the Blackwing's Lair at the top of the Blackstone Tower, where he is carrying out the final steps of his secret plan and preparing to destroy the power of the Firefiend's Ragnaros and eventually rule all of Azeroth.
However, after his father, Deathwing, disappeared in the Cataclysm of Draenor, the Black Dragon Legion's power was gradually weakened. In order to realize his plan, he needs the right puppet and assistants, and Blackhan's two sons are the most suitable people.
Nefarian freed Red and Maim from Dunhold prison under the pseudonym Nefarios, promising to help them ascend to the throne of the Grand Chieftain, and Rhett, blinded by revenge, happily accepted Nefarian's terms.
Soon, Red Black Hand regained control of the Blackstone Clan and conquered the Thorn Trolls and the Fireseal Clan, stationed on the upper levels of the Blackstone Tower along with Nefarian's Black Dragon Legion. There are also some Blackstone orcs stationed in the Burning Plains and Red Ridge Mountains. But with the purge of the Alliance and the Horde, the Blackstone clan gradually declined. Nefarian was killed when the Blackwing Lair fell, and the Blackstone Clan lost its master.
And Red Black Hand and Maim Black Hand also died at the hands of the Black Iron Dwarf.
But that's a later story, at this stage, the bravery of the two brothers is indeed a headache for the Alliance, because the preparations are in a hurry, so the Alliance cannot mobilize a large number of troops, and can only use the troops of Elwyn Forest and Red Ridge Mountain as a boost. They can't even mobilize the troops of the Wild West, as they have to guard against the Brotherhood of Defia, who are causing trouble in the Wild West.
The Brotherhood of Defia is actually the former Stormwind Stonemasons' Union, because Stormwind officials are seriously in arrears of wages, and one of them, Edwin Van Cleef, led an armed uprising of migrant workers, and the team was quite large for a time. The Brotherhood of Defia is an important force in the Stormwind region, with its influence spreading throughout the Wilds West and the Elwyn Forest. and infiltrate the twilight forest. Some members of the Brotherhood even invaded the vicinity of the North County Abbey. And it's obviously a well-known secret that the people of the Defia Brotherhood wear a kind of red mask, their only uniform is uniform. But the material of the mask is a symbol of their member's status within the gang.
Because of the existence of this group of people, the entire Western Wilderness, including the Twilight Forest, is not very peaceful, and Stormwind City does not dare to mobilize too many troops, so it can only ask Ironforge for help. However, on the Iron Fort side, the current situation is not peaceful, the orc army launched an attack on the Red Ridge Mountain, and the Black Iron Dwarf is directly north, through the scorching canyon, and directly towards Danmoro.
If they really did it, Ironforge would be directly exposed to the enemy's blades, which was no joke, so the dwarves didn't dare to draw too many troops. As a result, the alliance that was obviously very strong, but because of the war situation in all aspects, it was beaten and vomited blood again and again at its own doorstep.
They began to expect other original help, but alas, the reinforcements they were hoping for were now playing hide and seek with the trolls in the temple.
