This story is purely fictional, the origin of the story is in the Northern Zhou Dynasty Emperor Wu Emperor extermination of Buddhism, in the first month of the sixth year of Jiande (577), Emperor Wu of Zhou led his army to attack Qi Ye City (now Linzhang County, Hebei).

At that time, the Buddha style in Qidi was the most prosperous, and Emperor Wu of Zhou was determined to implement the policy of respecting Confucianism and destroying Buddha in Qidi. There is a Dr. Guozi named Xiong Ansheng in Qi State, who is widely familiar with the Five Classics, heard that Emperor Wu of Zhou entered Yecheng, and hurriedly asked his family to sweep the door to prepare for Emperor Wu of Zhou to visit, his family felt strange, Xiong Ansheng said: "Emperor Zhou respects Confucianism and will see me." Sure enough, at the end of the Southern and Northern Dynasties of the Zhou Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Yuwen Yong (Yong), was brave and heroic, personally conquered the Northern Qi in 575 AD, and unified the north again in 577 AD.

In 574, Yu Wenyong threatened not to be afraid of going to hell, and the Buddha and the Tao were destroyed together, destroying the Buddhist scriptures and statues, and making the monks and Taoists return to the world.

After the destruction of the Northern Qi Dynasty, he banned the two religions of Buddhism and Taoism in the territory of the original Northern Qi Dynasty, seized 40,000 temples as mansions, burned down the Buddhist relics, and forced 3 million monks and nuns to return to the world, so that the northern Buddhism was almost extinct.

In June of the following year, the Northern Expedition to the Turks, the army arrived, but Emperor Wu fell ill and died at the age of 35. The 19-year-old prince Yun (yun) succeeded to the throne, brutal and lewd, and the following year he gave way to his 6-year-old son, who devoted himself to the harem and indulged in lust, and died of illness at the age of 22.

The youngest son, Yu Wenyan, succeeded to the throne, and the power fell into the hands of his maternal grandfather Yang Jian. In 581, Yang Jian abolished the Northern Zhou Dynasty and established the Sui Dynasty.

In less than two years, 43 families of the descendants of the Yuwen royal family were exterminated, and the rest of the Yuwen clan was basically wiped out.

Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty's imperial catering officer, Ba Biao, was still an imperial catering official when Emperor Wen of Sui Emperor Yang Jian, and died violently one day, but his chest was always warm, and his family did not dare to enter the funeral.

Ba Biao woke up three days later and said, "Take me to see the emperor, Emperor Wu of Zhou has passed the word." After he saw Yang Jian, he said that he went to the underworld to see Emperor Wu of Zhou being tortured, and Emperor Wu said to him: "You send a message to the Son of Heaven of the Great Sui for me, he used to be my colleague, and now the gold and jade cloth in the treasury are also saved by me." Because I destroyed the Buddha when I was alive and am suffering greatly, I ask him to make merit for me. So Yang Jiantong ordered the world, and each family contributed a penny to Emperor Wu.

The Book of Sui records: When Yang Jiansheng was in the temple, the court was full of purple gas. The bhikshuni said to his mother, "This child is an extraordinary person and must be raised by her."

Yang Jian returned to his parents at the age of 13. After Yang Jian ascended the throne, as prophesied, he promoted the Eastern Soil Buddhism to its peak, and the Sui Dynasty also had a prosperous situation.
