Chapter 11: The Court of Order
In the town, the streets are quiet when night falls, and although there is occasionally a cold wind whining, there is no such eerie atmosphere as before.
At the long dining table, guests and hosts are seated.
The owner is still the same, but there are only six guests, plus two pets.
There was steaming food on the table, but the guests had no desire to eat. Only a dog and a monkey feasted on baked bread with dipping sauce.
"Tell me where you came from, including what all this is all about, I want to know everything as it is." Bluebell dragged a plate of roasted poultry in front of him and ate it slowly. But his eyes have been staring coldly at the iron monster Alpha on the main seat.
"Okay. But be prepared, what I'm going to talk about next may be a little hard to understand. Alpha spread his hands, and his mechanical tone had a trill, which made people sound extremely uncomfortable.
Wren pushed a plate of baked dough and a jar of meat sauce in front of Rena, and he couldn't wait to munch on it. After all, he couldn't remember how long it had been since he had eaten properly.
The other Three Musketeers of the Wasteland were originally a little restrained, and seemed to have a lingering fear of Alpha. But in the end, hunger got the upper hand, grabbed the food and began to gobble it up. Especially Pan Fatzi, it's like a dough crusher.
"Before I can, though, I need a little bit of energy." In Alpha's eyes, blue light flickered, as if it was a light bulb that would lose power at any moment.
Bluebell seemed to understand what it meant, and pulled the piece of metal from his pocket, which was still radiating heat, and threw it on the table.
"Don't, let it stay away from me."
Alpha seemed to be a little jealous of the metal block, but he just stretched out his right hand and drew the energy that flowed out of it.
"Thank you." Alpha stretched and bowed his head to Bluebell in gratitude.
"That was a long time ago......"
"How long ago was it?" Bluebell interrupted suddenly.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know much about the world's calendar." Alpha said with a slightly innocent look.
"My people call themselves the Wanderers, born in the wilderness of the universe, living in no fixed place, and have been living as nomads in the vast extraterrestrial sky. Our life forms are extremely special and need to draw on the polar power of the planets to survive. However, this energy is extremely scarce, and in order to ensure the normal operation of each planet, we cannot stay on one planet for a long time.
Therefore, our race is like a seed that can never sprout, and has been wandering in the universe for a long time. Although the boundless star field gives us a great degree of freedom, it is also accompanied by darkness and loneliness with no end in sight.
I don't know when there was a divider among the clansmen. In order to free the tribe from the shackles of extreme power, they began to use some radical means to transform the tribe in vivo. This process is brutal, but it has paid off. These modded are able to derive life energy from light or dark matter. However, this has become a source of some kind of disaster.
Due to the new life traits, the reformed become a new force in the race, and gradually gain the leadership of the race. Under their dominance, the race was rejuvenated. Better transformation solutions are constantly being introduced, and various new types of modified people appear in batches.
As time passed, the title of Wanderer was gradually forgotten, and eventually the Wandering Council was destroyed and the Court of Order came into being. The new race calls itself the Order, considers itself the pride of the universe, endowed with a divine mission, and an unstoppable ambition continues to swell and spread.
Finally, under the guidance of the Order Court, the Order started its first war, and a giant planet was conquered. The sapient races were forcibly transformed into the first conquerors under the command of the Order.
In the long time that followed, these conquerors traveled the infinite star realm, pouring the will of the Order like light on every inch of reach.
However, in a never-ending quest for expansion and conquest, the Order Court has finally encountered a formidable foe. Nearly a hundred of the conqueror's star warships were destroyed by unknown forces at once, and no trace of the attackers was even found.
What's even more terrifying is that the hidden power is more brutal and terrifying than imagined. In the time that followed, the planets that the conquerors had set foot on were destroyed one after another. The Court of Order finally tasted panic, and they chose to compromise as the conquerors' forces retreated.
Begin to signal compromise to the Void. However, there was never a response. In desperation, the Order Court began to gather its forces and transfer all the conquerors back to their base camp to deal with a decisive battle that could arise at any time.
As soon as the conqueror stopped, the unknown force of terror faded away. Just as the Order Court once again exposed its hidden desires, the Order Court suddenly welcomed an uninvited guest. This guest, who claimed to be the seventh son, single-handedly broke into the court of order as if it were no one, and when he left, the hundred princes of the court of order were slaughtered.
The destruction of the Court of Order has led to a great loss of power for the Order, and it is impossible to control the large number of conquerors. Finally, when the first conquerors rose up, the vast alliance that the Orderers had spent countless years building collapsed. The remnants of the Order were ruthlessly slaughtered, and only a handful of the Order's people escaped the Conqueror's control through the dark matter as a last resort.
These surviving orderlies never imagined that although they escaped the clutches of the conqueror, they did not escape the punishment of the seventh son.
The spaceship where the orderer escaped seemed to be infused with demonic power, and it gradually lost control and headed in an unknown direction on its own.
As the ship flew to the planet, it suddenly seemed to come to life and began to devour the lives of the Order. Eventually, the Orderlies fought back in desperation, initiating the ship's self-destruct program.
As the spaceship entered the planet's atmosphere, it fell apart and fell into the earth as a rain of fire. And the mysterious power hidden in the spaceship also landed in all corners of the planet.
And I am the survivor of the only Orderlies who have landed on this planet. This town is the heart of the ship, the power module, and the main concentration of that mysterious force.
By the time the power module crashed, we had completely lost control of the ship, and the series of disasters were the work of its own consciousness. It can also be said that it is the cause of all these evils. ”
At this point, Alpha pointed to the piece of metal that was still on the table by Bluebell.
