Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Decisive Battle of the City Hall (2)
"Did you find Subject 1 inside?" Willy Boken asked.
"According to the report of the squad that was patrolling on the east side, the other party used smoke grenades in the process of escaping! They didn't confirm who it was! It can only be determined that there were three people, and there was a woman inside. The staff said.
"If the patrol team doesn't confirm it, forget it! Why hasn't your monitoring system confirmed it either?! William Boken said angrily.
"Sir, there are no surveillance cameras on the east side." The staff said timidly.
"No?! The entire town hall was built at our expense, how could it not be installed with surveillance? William Boken said in surprise.
"Well, it was supposed to be monitored. But some time ago the town hall was renovated... Surveillance cameras have been temporarily removed. The staff explained.
"This bastard mayor!" William Boken said fiercely.
"Looks like you're in trouble! William. Assiford said sarcastically.
Looking at Alciford, William thought for a moment. "Take Dr. Alsifford down to rest!" With that, the guard took Asifford down.
"Let's go to the monitoring center and have a look." After seeing Yassiford leave, William Boken said to the staff next to him.

East side corridor
Taking advantage of the smoke bombs to temporarily stop the pursuit of Ambrera guards, Carlos and his party quickly moved towards the interior of the building.
Carlos had thought that he could take advantage of the difficult terrain inside the town hall to get rid of the pursuing Ambrera guards, but to his surprise, they ran into a huge warehouse through the corridor.
"Get behind that car!" Looking at the warehouse, where there was only one jeep, Carlos hurriedly said.
He realized that there was no way to escape here, and that running away in such an empty situation was no different from committing suicide.
Hiding behind the jeep, he immediately aimed his gun at the entrance to the warehouse. The black guy and the female reporter did the same.
After a few breaths, one of Ambrera's guards ran out. Carlos decisively pressed the trigger, and after killing 3 Ambrera guards in a row, there were no guards rushing in.
"Report to the command center! Request support! Request support! Suspicious people took advantage of the terrain to limit us! We can't get into the R1 warehouse! The team leader spoke quickly, but he remained calm. He reported while motioning for the team to stay at the entrance, where they could observe the inside of the warehouse and the shooting corner.
William Boken, who had just walked into the monitoring center, heard the voice of the squad leader as soon as he came in. He walked up to the liaison, picked up the microphone and said into it, "I order you as the supreme person in charge of Raccoon City!" Enter the R1 warehouse and find out who the intruder is!"
"But sir! We can't get in at all! This is no different from sending you to death! After hearing William Boken's words, the squad leader hurriedly said.
"I don't want to repeat it again. Execute the command. William Boken said lightly.
After saying that, he hung up the communication directly, turned to the people behind him and said. "Have the H3 team go to the west side and get those two men and the little girl for me."
"Your Excellency, I have a question ... I don't know... The head of the security department, who had conveyed William Boken's order, said hesitantly.
"Say whatever you want." William Boken, who was sitting in a chair, said.
"Don't we need to support the east side? After all, Subject 1 may be on the east side... The head of security said worriedly.
"No, there's no way she's on the east side." Picking up an apple, William Boken took a bite and said faintly. "If she had been on the east side, the H1 team would have been wiped out a long time ago!"
"Sir! Sir! Is anyone still listening? The team leader was still shouting into the communication channel, but it was clear that the other party was offline.
"Captain, did you give us any support?" One of the team members asked.
The team leader was silent for a moment and said, "We can act on our own without support!" Then he looked at his teammates.
"Wait a minute, you guys throw grenades into it first. Then I'll rush in first! You rush in with me! The team leader said in a resolute voice.
"But it's no different from death! Captain! One of the team members said.
"If we don't carry out the order and the chief leaves us here, we will surely die!" He said to the players, "Just give it a try, we still have a chance to live!" As the captain, I rushed in first! β
"Say, why is there no movement over there?" The black guy whispered to Carlos.
"I don't know, but I always feel that something is wrong." Carlos said, still staring intently in the direction of the entrance.
The female reporter on the side leaned on the body of the jeep tremblingly, not in the mood to participate in their conversation.
I don't know how long it took, but suddenly several grenades were thrown at the entrance. Then the grenade exploded, and the sound was heard throughout the town hall.
In the explosion, Carlos and the others subconsciously lowered their heads. Taking advantage of this time, the team leader ran directly to the side of the jeep as fast as he could, and when he got there, he could shoot Carlos and the others who were hiding behind the body.
As soon as the explosion passed, Carlos saw the figure of the squad leader as soon as he looked up, and he quickly picked up his gun and shot in the direction of the squad leader. But the squad leader subconsciously dodged all the bullets.
"Let's go! Let's go! Carlos shouted as he looked at the squad leader who was about to run to shoot him, and the other Ambrera guards who rushed in after the squad leader rushed in.
The black guy hurriedly stood up and went to the back to prepare to escape, but the female reporter tried to stand up and was unsuccessful!
"Give me your hand, quick! I'll drag you away! As he spoke, Carlos stretched out his hand and pulled it towards the female reporter.
But before he could take the female reporter's hand, the squad leader over there reached the firing position and immediately opened fire.
Carlos suddenly felt a sharp pain in his outstretched arm. Seeing Carlos' arm hit by a bullet, the black guy hurriedly said, "You will die here with her like this!" With that, he dragged Carlos and ran inside.
Looking at the two who fled, the squad leader was not ready to pursue, because William Boken only said that it was enough to find out the identity of the suspicious person. He had seen that one of the men was Ambrera's mercenary attire, and the other was a standard survivor's attire.
He slowly approached the jeep, carefully observing, before he could appear. Voices were heard from behind the jeep: "I surrender!" Don't kill me! I have no ill will! When the team leader walked to the back, he saw a woman spread on the ground, he stretched out his hand to pull the woman up, and then connected to the communication channel with the command centerγγγγγγ
