Chapter 11: Jumping out of the window

Back in the rental house, the door was closed, and Qiming walked to the balcony.

Since it was the height of summer, although it was already more than four o'clock in the afternoon, the sky was still bright, and there was no intention of getting dark at all.

There are a lot more zombies downstairs than when Qiming saw it before, and it can already be called a mourning group, but what Qiming wants to see is not these.

He leaned out of the balcony window and looked left and right. The rental house he was in was located on the far left side of the residential building, and the window on the left was the bedroom window of the rental house.

He looked to the right again, and the adjacent window was a neighbor's house, and there was an iron flower stand outside the window, on which were placed some flowers and plants that Qiming could not name.

The flower platform was so close that Qiming could reach out and touch it.

I pressed it hard and felt the firmness of the flower stand, which was okay.

Gritting his teeth, he climbed to the window of his balcony, cautiously, and trembled onto the flower platform.

Then, he regretted it.

"I ...... Day! ”

Qiming admits that he has no fear of heights, but standing on a half-suspended flower platform almost five stories high, without handrails and no leaning, if he is not careful, the whole person will fall from the height of the five-story building, this feeling is simply fatal.

Taking a deep breath, Qiming forced himself not to look back, and focused on the plastic steel window in front of him.

Pulled, didn't pull, locked.

Qiming's heart immediately retreated.

I turned my head and looked at the balcony of the rental house, where the window was open.

However, it is easy to come up, but if you want to go back, it is impossible to do it without a place to help.

In fact, from the moment he climbed out of the balcony, Qiming had no way out, he needed to smash the window open.

Pull out the dagger tied to your leg, hold the handle, want to break the glass, just use the handle.

Gripping the dagger tightly, Qiming raised his arm, but, after thinking about it, he put his arm down again, he didn't want to break the glass recklessly, he didn't want to be scratched by the glass, God knows what was in the air now.

Even if he doesn't, in this world, if the wound is infected, he has nowhere to find medicine, and it is estimated that he will have to finish the game.

Holding on to the wall, Qiming grabbed a placket that was exposed from the armor with one hand, and pulled out most of the clothes, and with the other hand, he used a dagger to cut off the exposed clothes, a whole large piece of cloth.

Spreading the cloth on the window, Qiming held the handle of the dagger, hit the center of the cloth, and smashed it hard.

"Wow!"

The whole piece of glass shattered, and the fragments were all facing inward, and did not fall on Qiming, which made Qiming breathe a sigh of relief.

Because he knows that the glass in reality is completely different from the one in film and television works, and when it is broken, there will be countless small but extremely sharp fragments, which will be scratched if you are not careful, which is completely different from the prop glass in the movie.

He knew that because of his experience as a child, things in his home were often broken.

Jumping from the flower platform to the house, Qiming did not put the dagger down, and now he is not sure that it is safe, he is not sure if there are zombies in the house.

Looking around, although there was only a wall apart, the room was obviously much better than his rental house, with wooden floors, solid wood furniture, white sheets, and a large wedding photo hanging at the head of the bed.

He'd seen the two people in the photo, and in fact, this was the home of the little girl he had killed earlier who had turned into a zombie.

Qiming chose to come here because he knew that people with children would store food at home, at least rice, flour and oil.

He wanted to go through the main entrance, but the main entrance was locked, and he had to go through the window, which was the only home he could reach by this means.

The door to the room was closed, and Qiming tiptoed over to the door, making sure he didn't make too much noise. Slowly turn the doorknob and gently push the door open.

Then, he froze.

The living room is furnished with a family touch, sofa, air conditioning, TV. The kitchen and living room are connected in one piece, refrigerator, cupboards, sink, everything seems to be in order, except for the central ...... of the living room

Two zombies, a man and a woman, back to back, were firmly tied to two chairs.

Although his skin had turned blue-white, his eyes were cloudy, and his face was hideous, Qiming still recognized the identities of the two, who were the owners of this family, the parents of the girl he had killed before who had turned into zombies.

Seeing Qiming, the two zombies struggled desperately and wanted to get up from the chairs, but the ropes were tied too tightly, and the two zombies were separated from each other, and they both wanted to pounce on Qiming, but they could only go in the opposite direction and couldn't move a bit.

Holding a dagger in his hand, Qiming tentatively walked to the side of the two zombies, and saw that the two zombies were indeed unable to move.

Swallowing his saliva fiercely, he stomped his feet to pretend to be gallant, and then stabbed one by one, Qiming pierced the heads of two zombies with a dagger.

The two zombies immediately stopped struggling, and then, a piece of paper fell from the female zombie's hand to the ground.

Qiming picked up the piece of paper and looked at it, and only a few words were written on the paper:

Child, stay alive - Dad, Mommy.

Qiming instantly understood what was going on, the two must have known that they were about to become zombies, tied themselves up, and let their daughter leave alone, but the world was impermanent, and the little girl couldn't live at all.

Sighing, Qiming pulled out the dagger, wiped the blood off the male zombie's clothes, and inserted the dagger strapped to his leg.

Looking at the two corpses that fell on the chair, Qiming took a closer look and found that there were no injuries, Qiming couldn't help but be a little puzzled, the two must have known about the zombie outbreak before their deaths, and they must have known that they would become zombies, otherwise they would not have done such a thing, but he didn't know anything, the two families were only separated by a wall, and the information gap was so big.

When he woke up in the morning, everything was fine, what did he miss?
