Chapter 45: A Simple and Fulfilling Summer Vacation

The first year at Hogwarts came to an end, with Gryffindor triumphing over the evil Slytherin to finally claim the final victory.

Last night, the entire Gryffindor common room was almost a sea of revelry.

The older students held the butterbeer they had bought earlier from Hogsmeade, and the younger students drank their drinks. They played almost all night in the common room.

Harry, the classmate who had done the smash for his house, was naturally the object of the toast, and he even drank several times the butterbeer.

Fred and George got a handful of Bibi Beans out of nowhere, and all the classmates started their game around them.

Everyone played until late at night, and then went back to their dormitories to sleep.

The next day, Li Yi and Hermione once again stepped on the train home.

To the sound of the train's "woo-woo~", Hogwarts Express carried all the young wizards out of the school.

All of a sudden, the castle began to feel deserted.

On the train, Li Yi and Hermione bought a lot of snacks from the aunt in the small cart and put them on the table in the box.

The little guy looked a little hungry, and when Li Yi just put it on the table, it began to eagerly start to bite directly into the bags of those snacks.

As you can see, this little guy is very smart, and he is now able to distinguish what can and cannot be eaten in a bag of snacks.

Hermione flicked her finger at the little one's head, and it looked like it was about to sneeze, most of the little one's genes were dragons, so it would occasionally spew a little spark when it sneezed.

"Do you have any plans for what we're going to do this summer?" Hermione teased the little guy and asked Li Yi, who was fascinated by the scenery outside the window.

"Oh......" Li Yi reacted, "I probably want to do something, my experiment has basically succeeded, and the direction has been determined." The next thing to do is to keep experimenting to find the optimal solution. By the way, Hermione, where have you learned? ”

"Acceleration, there's still a lot to learn......"

"Otherwise, let's go find a high school and take classes."

"Okay...... But I remember you said you were going to make a big move......"

"Well, well, I thought we might be able to make a plan to go to the moon, just think about it, the only two students in the whole of Hogwarts who have ever been to the moon, that's cool. But for now, forget it. Our technology isn't up to scratch yet, and we haven't figured out the mechanics of magic yet, so it's dangerous if our magic disappears when we leave the atmosphere......"

"Okay, it looks like we're going to be good babies, but it seems like the students are also on vacation at this time."

"It's okay, anyway, it's indispensable to make extra money at any time, not to mention, some private schools won't have holidays. Besides, we might have to go to college......"

Regardless, both Li Yi and Hermione learn new things quickly.

……

During the summer vacation, two twelve-year-old children were mixed in at a private high school that had not yet been on vacation, but no one seemed to pay attention to them, as if they hadn't seen them.

Listening to the teacher on the podium talking about the main points of learning, Li Yi and Hermione sat in the empty seats of the classroom and listened to the lecture.

Now Li Yi lives in Hermione's house.

During the Christmas holidays, Hermione's father, Mr. Granger, knew that Li Yi had no relatives in this world, and that he and Hermione's mother were caring people, and more importantly, they were not short of money, so they also welcomed Li Yi to live here and let him make it their home.

There was not much to talk about during the summer vacation, and Li Yi and Hermione were studying far faster than they should have at their age.

In the last days of the summer vacation, they learned almost everything a high school student should learn. In terms of magic, their current research also surpasses that of most adult wizards, at least their combat effectiveness is very strong.

The specific performance is that Hermione made a pot of compound potion during the summer vacation, although because this thing is difficult to drink, so she did not personally test the specific effect of this potion, but after a little test, Li Yi judged that this is completely a bottle of high-quality potion.

In the last days of the summer vacation, Hermione and Lee received a letter from Hogwarts.

It was sent by an owl, and Li Yi looked at the owl, and then at the little guy who was drinking the milk prepared by Mrs. Granger comfortably, and couldn't help but say to Hermione:

"Hermione, do you think this little guy can deliver a letter?"

The little one has wings, and they are not small for its size, except for the golden feathers that cover it, the shape of the wings is not much different from the dragon's wings.

"Of course not, this little guy is so beautiful, what if someone catches him?" Hermione looked like a normal girl again, always caring for good things.

However, Li Yi is not very clear whether Hermione's love for this little guy is because of his appearance or precious "experimental value". He took two letters from under the owl's talons, then took a biscuit from the table and fed it to the owl, who looked a little hungry.

The owl flapped its wings twice after eating the biscuit and flew away.

"It's a letter from Hogwarts, I guess it's the book we're going to use next semester......"

Saying that, Li Yi opened his letter.

The letter first said that he missed him, and then some materials needed for this semester.

Looking at the series of books on the letter about Lockhart, the liar of the wizarding world, Li Yi shook his head and handed Hermione's letter to her.

Hermione saw Li Yi shaking her head and asked curiously, "Sige, what's wrong with you?" ”

"I'm fine, I just saw something strange. I don't really understand why our Defence Against the Dark Arts class should have some storybooks with us...... By the way, Hermione, do you know Gilderoy Lockhart, it looks like we're going to buy a whole set of his storybooks next semester......"

"I don't know, is he famous? But you mentioned it, I seem to have a little impression......" Hermione was a little surprised, she had been immersed in high school physics and chemistry and biology experiments lately, and she didn't have time to read any stories.

"It's nothing, it's just an impostor, I'm not going to buy these books, just save a little money to buy materials."

In fact, books in the wizarding world are not very expensive, but Lockhart's book is an exception, probably because of the good packaging and the fact that many housewives like it.
