Chapter 64: The Scorpion
Peter Parker - aka Spider-Man, an entry-level superhero who tries his best to do good, is often complained by the media that "where Spider-Man is, there is trouble". Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć Info really doesn't understand what the brain circuits of the police and the media are, and he sometimes almost feels a little sympathetic to the traffic police comrades - because they are also often ridiculed for "traffic jams wherever there are traffic police".
All in all, the police came to the scene in line with the basic principle of "it's not wrong to blame Spider-Man for something", and directly identified the scorpion wearing dark green armor and Spider-Man as a gang. They surrounded the two of them, shouting "Lie on the ground."
And obviously not everyone has such a good temper as Spider-Man.
"Don't bother me! Die! ā
The scorpion shouted, a cloud of dark orange liquid scattered from the pinhole on the back of his hand, the size of a little finger. It was a corrosive venom that splattered across the faces and arms of the officers, causing a terrible scream of pain.
"No!"
Spider-Man yelled and flew towards the scorpion.
But the scorpion moved quickly, it turned its back to Spider-Man and didn't even look back, and the long tail swirled with a gust of wind. Spider-Man was caught off guard in mid-air, only raising his arm to block it dullly, and the great force penetrated through the tail, and the small scorpion body was almost like a dinosaur hidden.
Spider-Man smashes the glass door of a grocery store and collapses between the shelves.
The scorpion stepped forward quickly, its tail raised high. He shouted, "You can't catch me!" And the tone was like a desperately panicked fugitive.
Spider-Man lifted a row of shelves pressed against his body and touched his somewhat dizzy head. And the scorpion's tail had locked onto him, and the corrosive liquid leaked out of the tip side, dripping onto the floor tiles and "sizzling" to melt.
"Hey!"
As if someone was calling him, the scorpion turned around, and a black iron alloy fist came at him and slammed it on his cheek.
No small amount of force knocked him to the ground, and he rolled several times in a row before barely unloading. He raised his head, stared at the armored warrior in front of him with some dismay, and asked in disbelief, "...... Are you one of them? ā
"What? Who's a member? Eric asked rhetorically.
Spider-Man was also surprised: "Wow! You are...... Ah, I've seen you! Oh I mean, on TV, we haven't really met......"
"Spider-Man, I know you too." "Your record is admirable. ā
"Uh...... Thank you? I was touched and honestly, very few people say that to me. And when I say 'rarely', I really mean 'never'. ā
Sure enough, it's the same as the legend. Eric thought to himself.
"You ...... You're all trying to get me, I know. The scorpion whispered to himself, "But I won't let you catch it, I can't be caught again!" ā
"Uh...... Mr? "But when you wreak havoc in an underground mall with a long tail, of course everybody wants to catch you." ā
"Roar!"
There were no more words, and the poisonous scorpion directly erupted into the roar of a beast, and pounced as if frightened, as if it had been cornered and decided to give it a go.
The two of them dodged each other, and the scorpion pounced on it and suddenly pulled it up, and the amazing bounce helped him jump straight up the aisle on the second floor of the mall. He was hunched over, his tail raised alertly, ready to strike.
He jumped suddenly, like a green projectile, and the afterimage seemed to come on the wind. Spider-Man jumped up, dodged a somersault gracefully in mid-air, and half-crouched down on a display case in a clothing store on the first floor. Eric fell backwards sharply, and the moment the scorpion's form leaped directly above him, he kicked his right foot out and kicked in the direction of the scorpion, and the latter smashed through a column of display cases like a cannonball and fell into the broken glass on the ground.
Eric got up, touched his fist, and walked slowly towards the scorpion.
Unexpectedly, the scorpion's tail raised its head violently like a poisonous snake, and the tip coldly "swished" out venom again, and the slender venom was like a dark arrow that broke through the air.
The armor's face made a "popping" sound, the sound of venom and nano-bioalloys reacting violently. Eric frowned, and although he was not injured, it looked like a green mosaic on the monitor and lost his vision.
The poisonous scorpion crawled up, on all fours, its tail raised high, really like a scorpion about to pounce. And just before he could pounce, two white spider silks fell from the sky and "snapped" to the tip of his tail.
"You've been warned that it's illegal to carry your tail on the streets, sir?" Spider-Man asked, crouching on the display case and pulling the spider silk.
The scorpion roared, its tail flicked violently, and the incredible explosive force caused Spider-Man to be dragged back with an "ah", smashing through a row of shoe cabinets.
Spider-Man scratched his head: "Okay...... I'll admit you're a great thing, what is it made of? ā
"Roar!"
As if it had lost its only ability to speak, the scorpion replied with an angry roar. And he was only halfway through his majestic roar, and Eric swept him five or six meters away with another kick that was very shameless.
The venom on the monitor has subsided quite a bit now, and although there is still a little left, it is basically unaffected.
Eric walked over to Spider-Man and reached out to pull him up, "What? Just deserted? ā
"Almost, a nap."
The scorpion violently shook off the mess around him, and when he looked up, he saw that Eric and Spider-Man were not even a step away from him.
The two of them punched in unison, and the superimposed force was like two cannonballs hitting the door. The poisonous scorpion screamed miserably, and its entire body flew upside down in the air, the metal shell of its face shattered, and dark green fragments flew all over the sky.
The poisonous scorpion landed heavily on a sofa, breaking the unfortunate sofa by the waist, and the cotton wool fell like snowflakes.
"Happy working together!" Spider-Man held up a hand, "High-five?" ā
Eric ignored it and walked straight towards the scorpion, which had fallen to the ground.
Spider-Man keeps high-fives posing: "Okay...... Well, that's embarrassing. ā
Sirens sounded outside, and police reinforcements arrived.
Generally speaking, Spider-Man has to get out of the way before the police come to clean up the mess, or they will think that he has done all the work of the police and will have to catch him to prove that the police are not useless......
It's Parker's own brain supplement.
The two of them gathered around the scorpion, who was already unconscious and moaning.
"Okay, it's time for us to see your true face......
When Spider-Man said this, he couldn't help but be stunned, and the face under the scorpion mask was like a stop button, suffocating all the jokes in his stomach.
Not only Spider-Man, but Eric was also taken aback at this time.
Underneath the scorpion's mask was a face that was all too familiar to both of them - Peter Parker.
