Chapter 21: Spiritual Locking
The bell for the end of class is like a clarion call for liberation, and it may be the most popular sound for students in any corner of the world. The drowsy students in the classroom www.biquge.info were instantly resurrected as if they had been beaten with chicken blood, and they were all active.
A few boys in the front row seemed to be out to play basketball, and a shy boy next to him seemed to spend a planet finally mustering up the courage to ask the girl he admired to go out and confess. And Eric, as if they all belonged to another world different from him, left the classroom without answering anyone.
He may be excellent in many aspects, but he has always failed in the area of interpersonal communication. He himself doesn't know whether it's because of his own personality problems or because his mental age is too different from this group of high school students who seem to be the same age, and he always feels as if the world is rejecting him.
In addition, what made him even more upset was that Aegis actually sent Sharon Carter directly to him as a teacher, and God knows if the headmaster would be replaced by Aegis's Coulson or something. Oh wait, it seems like it's possible......
Annoyedly, he slapped the door of the locker, and Eric was about to go out with his school bag on his shoulder, when he suddenly paused.
He frowned slightly.
Inexplicable palpitations hit from the bottom of my heart. It's a strange sense of alertness, a bit like the palpitations of being watched, but it seems to be even worse, like being seen into the depths of the soul.
He had always been very alert, and he trusted his instincts, and most of these palpitations were unfounded.
It's the rush of school, and the students outside the school building are walking in pairs and threes, like a tidal wave flowing into chaos. Eric seemed to feel a pair of invisible eyes behind the sea of people, and his cold gaze swept through the crowd like a razor, making people's hearts shiver.
Almost subconsciously, his feet suddenly launched, and his body burst out at an unbelievable speed towards the crowd. His running performance in the physical fitness test was always intimidating to others, but what his classmates didn't know was that it was a result he deliberately kept his hands on. Since Eric came to this world, he has never stopped exercising his physical fitness, even in the school track and field team.
Pushing through the crowd under the astonished gaze of others, Eric shuttled by like a swimming fish. His pupils suddenly closed, and he felt as if he had found his target.
A dark-skinned girl. She stood on the steps of the flower bed like a flagpole stuck in the ground, dressed in a bright crop top, and had a strange smile on her face as if she was fascinated. Her round eyes seemed to have only the whites of her eyes left, just like the characters in a horror movie, but the eyeless eyes clearly shot out of the cold gaze of a blade.
The moment he saw her, Eric was sure that this heart-piercing palpitation undoubtedly came from this girl!
Who is she? Was it sent by the same unknown forces that attacked last time?
He rushed in the direction of the girl, feeling as if his thighs were doubling with each step forward. The invisible resistance repelled his forward pace, and he struggled.
The black girl gave a weird sinister smile.
In an instant, she vanished from Eric's view - no, it wasn't just her, and everything around her began to become illusory. The sunlight was blackened inch by inch, and the world suddenly began to lose its luster, and the bustling crowd around it gradually quieted down, as if suddenly he was the only living creature left in the world.
It was as if someone's exclamation could be heard somewhere far away. The brain can't maintain balance, it's like it's spinning in a dream. His body fell uncontrollably, and his head fell to the cold floor tiles with a "bang". The pain was like a tidal wave, not a bump, but a heart-piercing headache from inside the brain, as if an invisible hand had reached into the inside of the skull, trying to tear it apart.
Unbelievably painful, Eric couldn't help but lie on the ground and moan in pain, his pale face dripping with beads of sweat.
There is no doubt that a psychic person attacked him directly through his brain.
The surrounding students stopped and watched in amazement as he struggled. The black girl quietly disappeared into the crowd and disappeared without a trace.
Another girl rushed out of the crowd.
She was completely black from head to toe. She wears a black blouse and a pitch-black hood, and her slender legs are also covered in black silk. She crouched down beside Eric and gently removed her hood, the face under which it was extremely delicate, but her complexion was almost unusually fair, and there was no trace of blood.
"Malson, tell the headmaster to go to the first aid." The girl ordered in a hurried tone, and although her voice was not loud, there was a non-negotiable meaning in her cold tone.
Malson was the name of one of the schoolgirls who was traveling with her, and the girl woke up from a dream at her command, and hurried away.
The girl gently lifted Eric up, her slender fingers pressed lightly on his sweaty forehead, and whispered a incantation like an ancient ritual. An invisible, eerie aura emanated from her, swirling like smoke around her and Eric's side.
"Your pain belongs to me...... Your pain belongs to me......"
The pain was noticeably lessened, and when Eric's senses regained slightly, he dimly seemed to see the girl's sweaty, but frosty face, and the whisper of "Your pain belongs to me" was vaguely wrapped around his ears.
"Are you...... Who? He barely opened his dry lips and asked, "What did you do?" ”
"Me? Oh, it's nothing......" The girl helped him to his feet, "...... It's just holding you up. ”
Who is she? I've seen her, and I'm thinking about it...... Who is she?
The brain was incredibly groggy as if it was muddled. He couldn't help but pat his head.
"I'm sorry, please get out of the way." A hurried voice came from outside the crowd, "Let the first responders take care of it!" ”
The students chattered and moved aside, and the first responders on campus hurriedly arrived with stretchers. Eric lay on the stretcher, but didn't take his eyes off the black girl for a moment.
She put her hood back on, and seemed to deliberately hide in the corner of the crowd, keeping her head down as much as she could not be noticed. But if you deliberately stare at her, she in the crowd is like a black tulip, trying her best to reject the refraction of light, but the special beauty of loneliness makes her more conspicuous.
Eric finally remembered.
Her name is Raven, codenamed Raven, and she is a member of DC's superhero team, the Teen Titans.
