Chapter 32: Spoiling the Situation
If you slow down what happened in the last few seconds, you'll see two rockets dragging smoke and tail flames through the main entrance of the hotel lobby. Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info one of them landed at the base of the innermost wall of the hall, and the other fell near the balcony. Crystal chandeliers fall from the rooftops, expensive glass shards fly all over the sky, and the flames rise in the moment the lights disappear, and the frightened fleeing people are cast into a chaotic shadow, flickering in the flickering firelight.
The shock wave spread to the balcony, and the cracks in the ground crawled down the ground like spider webs, splitting the balcony in two.
The moment his body was lifted by the impact, Eric reacted. An idea, the backpack hidden under the trench coat immediately reacted. The armor parts turned out like a liquid, covering his body piece by piece. The moment the cuirass was assembled, a splash of shrapnel happened to pop up a violent spark on the armor, and if he had reacted a little late, I am afraid that it would have been pierced by the whole thing at this moment.
And Iron Man, who is only in the beginning stage of superheroes, has obviously not developed the subsequent pile of portable or on-call armor, and now he is just an ordinary person in a suit. Stark was knocked to the balcony railing in a disgraced manner, blood streaming down his forehead, and he fainted instantly. The shamprapnel exploded a deep rift, like a laser knife slicing a small part of the platform out, and Stark unfortunately landed on that part.
As Eric hit the ground, the armor pounded heavily on the ground, and the shock became the last grass that crushed the camel, shattering the small balcony that was already crumbling. Stark, unconscious, fell down the sloping ground to the ground three stories below.
Eric scrambled to catch up, grabbed Stark's wrist at the edge of the platform, and lifted him up with one arm.
He turned and looked out into the chaotic hall. By this time the feast was already in flames, and the richly dressed people fled with screams and flocks of frightened birds. A large black shadow towered in the center of the hall, as tall as a hill, and its footsteps made a loud "sonorous" sound, completely ignoring the chaotic crowd, and headed in the direction of the balcony.
Due to the poor lighting, Eric could only see the round glow on the black thing's chest, and his eyes glowing with a dark red light. With each step it takes, its body makes a sound similar to the movement of parts and the clashing of gears, like a killing machine in approach.
And nine times out of ten, this thing should be for Stark.
He doesn't like to look for trouble, but it always seems to come to his door. If he gets out of the way now, Stark will have to explain if he doesn't have a protagonist aura explosion.
He clenched his fists and stepped forward.
The big black guy also kept an unhurried pace approaching. When the two sides were close to an arm's length, the guy struck first, his thick black arm falling from the sky like a giant hammer.
Eric dodged with a roll on the spot, his steel fist smashing almost straight through the floor, the rubble crashing softly against Eric's armor. In the moment of misalignment, the firelight illuminated the whole picture of this large iron block.
A missile launcher on the shoulder, a Gatling barrel on the arm, an extra-large arc reactor, and that impressively ugly iron mask, this guy ......
Iron Overlord!?
Iron Tyreson, a giant steel suit developed by Obadiah Stein who pirated Stark's technology, is the boss of the movie "Iron Man 1". But Eric remembers that Iron Man seemed to have killed him when he first reported it, and the newspapers said that Obadiah Stan's death had been confirmed, and that the Iron Overlord should have completely exited.
So who is wearing this suit now?
While thinking about it, Eric had already seized the opportunity to stick closer, and swept one leg into the Iron Overlord's waist with a whistling wind. The metal crash made a crisp sound and sparks flew everywhere, but it didn't shake the big guy in the slightest.
The Iron Overlord's right foot jerked up, and his leg, which was as thick as a tree root, was incredibly agile. Eric hurriedly raised his arm to his chest, and the Iron Overlord's astonishing force spanned his entire body, causing him to smash an elongated dining table and splash himself with crushed juice.
The Iron Overlord then lifted the barrel of the Gatling, and the dense bullets swept over with a "click", and Eric hurriedly fell to the side, leaving a dented bullet hole in the part of his arm that had been swept away.
Stark Industries' special armor-piercing bullet even broke through the armor of Iron Man's forearm at the end of the "Iron Man 1" movie, and the penetration is quite amazing. Fortunately, Eric had just dragged Stark to a corner of the balcony, otherwise he might have been shot by this guy.
Sure enough, it's still a bit overestimating the combat effectiveness of the basic mode of the sub-demon armor, and the sub-demon armor is diverse in ability, but it is still lacking in terms of original performance.
The drive of the Armor does not require electricity, but the life force of the operator. Every time he switches modes and uses various superpowers, the consumption is quite serious, so he doesn't want to use his extra abilities to fight as much as possible.
But now, it seems that it is still not possible to show some real skills.
Just thinking of this, he saw that the Iron Overlord had already raised his left arm, and a loaded missile rose from the back of his hand, locking it in this direction.
Eric couldn't help but glance in the direction of Stark on the platform.
When this missile comes down, there is a chance that it will affect Stark at this distance, right?
The Iron Overlord did not hesitate, and the tail of the missile quickly ignited, rushing out like a cupola, blasting towards the area where the two were located.
Just a second before he launched, Eric had already chosen to switch modes without hesitation.
"Complete, Speed Mode is live."
Suddenly, the missile was slowed down as if infinitely, slowly propelled through the frozen air. Eric, who was dragging the golden electricity behind him, flew to the edge of the balcony, picked up the unconscious Stark, and rushed out of the hall at full speed.
"Boom!"
The flames confined to the missile's casing were released, and the aftermath pushed the two men who had just rushed to the door, knocking them to the ground, but they managed to avoid the splash of shrapnel.
The Iron Overlord turned his head sideways, glancing at him with disdain, and then his gaze pointed to the sky. Endless flames erupted from beneath the roots-like feet, and the massive body rose from the ground, stirring up thick smoke and bursting through the rooftops and disappearing into the night.
