Chapter 29: Inward Vision
Su Ming walked around the streets of Taiyuan for a long time, and it was not until dusk that he found a hotel to stay in. After nightfall, I opened the window and went out. His room was on the third floor, and he went out through the window, using his hands and feet at the same time, and the whole person was like a tanuki on a tree, and he reached the roof in three times and two times.
Tonight's moon is exceptionally round, and the clear light is sprinkled all over Kyushu. Su Ming was on the roof, standing under the bright moon and silver light, looking up at the sky, overlooking the prosperity and loneliness of the world, and took a long breath in his chest, endlessly, like silk threads entangled, light and delicate, soft and continuous, and suddenly felt that both the body and the mind were refreshed.
Although the "Washing the Marrow Sutra" is a secret legend of Shaolin, pretending to be passed down by the ancestor of Bodhidharma, it is actually an out-and-out authentic Taoist qi practice. The true meaning of the boxing method refers to the internal boxing method represented by Wudang boxing, which is consistent with the Taoist practice of qi, which transforms the breath ingested from the outside into the internal breath of the human body, so as to mobilize the power of the internal organs, and then exercise the five internal organs, shock the bone marrow, and finally strengthen the muscles and bones, and reach the whole body. On the other hand, it is the "Yijin Sutra", the "Hum Ha Eryin" of Bajiquan, and the "Tiger and Leopard Thunder Sound" of Xingyi Boxing, which are actually the origin of the saying that they practice muscles and bones outside.
It's just that the saying "practice the muscles and bones on the outside, and practice the breath on the inside" was widely spread later, and some people looked at the text to make sense, but they distorted the original meaning of these two sentences. In the end, it was rumored that many people were deceived.
Su Ming followed the method of "Washing the Marrow Sutra", his mind was integrated, his spirit was introverted, and his breath was breathed. When you enter the body in one breath, you often work in the body for a long time before you spit it out. As his breath gradually grew and deepened, the breath in his body seemed to be mobilized by some invisible and intangible thin lines. The internal organs of the five organs fluctuate together with the breath, making strange sounds. The sound was like a humming chanting, not loud, but as shocking and thought-provoking as the evening drum and morning bell. Under this sound, the inside and outside of the bones of the body, between the fur and muscles, seemed to slowly begin to vibrate, and the qi and blood around the body also became boiling and hot.
This is exactly the degree to which a breath in the body can reach the bones, tendons and veins from the five internal organs. The strong cultivation of bones and muscles is not as fierce as boxing, but it is better than the wisps of continuous effort. With the "Yijin Sutra" and the practice of Bajiquan, it is one inside and one outside, complementing each other.
People who practice boxing, if you want to be full of kung fu, in addition to forming your own unique style and concept, with your own spiritual will, at the same time, boxing should also go deep into the bone marrow, shake the bone marrow, change blood all over the body, and the physical strength is unprecedentedly strong. In addition, the strength in the body should also intersect with light and dark, rigidity and softness, and miscible water and fire. Only by taking a three-pronged approach can we step into the chemical energy.
Throughout the ages, dark energy is easy to practice, but it is difficult to enter. Otherwise, he will not be a master of strength, and he can be called a generation of grandmasters, who can start a sect and inherit boxing skills.
Taoism practices qi arts, mostly meditation, pay attention to the concentration of life and tranquility, quiet and give birth to wisdom, there is a spirit in wisdom, and the fugue is too empty. During Su Ming's practice, between exhaling and inhaling, it became slower and thinner. Later, even the buzzing sound caused by the vibration of the internal organs became extremely subtle.
I don't know how long it took, but slowly, the buzzing sound began to sound again, and Su Ming's breathing gradually returned to normal. When I opened it, it was still the bright moon hanging high, full of clear light, savoring the experience just now, a breath from the nose, long and long, like silk, starting from the heart and lungs, through the blood and blood of the body, the feeling of reaching all parts of the body.
Under his mental concentration, every breath he took seemed to feel that in his mind, an image of the inner lobe of his body appeared.
It's like the eyes are able to see the internal organs of your body.
"Inward?" Su Ming suddenly had this thought in his heart.
A real boxing master, after kung fu training to the internal organs, seems to be able to see the inside of his body, which is called "inner vision". This is not really seen, but the image that naturally arises in the heart when boxing has reached a certain level, and all parts of the body are familiar to the extreme.
Legend has it that after the Taoist practiced qi and changed his mind, he could survey his internal organs, muscles, bones, veins, blood vessels and blood. Its clear subtleties, such as the observation of the pattern on the palm, are delicate and distinct.
In Buddhism, there are also open eyes of heaven, which can transcend the skin of the body, through thousands of fogs, discern the illusory truth, and see the invisible places of one's body.
It is impossible for a person's eyes to see through, but a person who practices martial arts, after his strength penetrates into the five internal organs, between one breath and one inhale, his mind and mind are concentrated, distracting thoughts are eliminated, and he is very sensitive to the internal organs and can feel every subtle change. Over time, I know my internal organs very well, and finally I get to the point where it is more accurate and real than the naked eye.
To this extent, all parts of the body, no matter if there is any pain and discomfort, can be accurately "seen" for recuperation or treatment.
For example, when people drink water, they know their own warmth and coldness, which is the real Taoist way of practicing qi and health.
When Su Ming descended from Changbai Mountain, the thunder was already shaking, and his muscles and bones were ringing in unison. After descending the mountain, he went to the battlefield and experienced the baptism of blood and fire. Then he set out from Shenyang, spared a big circle, experienced the vast and boundless prairie of Inner Mongolia, and came to Taiyuan City. At any time, he did not stop practicing the "Washing the Pulp Sutra". It wasn't until tonight that something was finally achieved, so to speak.
Closing his eyes, between breaths, Su Ming seemed to be able to clearly see the expansion and contraction of the lung lobes in his body with his breathing. The organ in charge of breathing in the human body is the lungs, and the lungs are the first to train a breath inside. Now he can only "see" his lungs, and when he goes deeper step by step, he can "see" all over his body, all parts, and every detail.
It is rumored that Shakyamuni Buddha enlightened under the Bodhi tree, saw the nature of the mind, saw the nature of the Buddha, confirmed his own body, and saw the ten trillion Buddha countries, and the sand of the Ganges River counted the Buddha. This is the highest level of inward vision.
Su Ming knew that he had stepped into the realm of inner vision, and his heart was naturally happy, and he felt that the time was almost up, so he returned to the house and slept and rested.
After sleeping for only four hours, Su Ming habitually got up and began to practice.
The human body is naturally based on the time of day, and naturally works at sunrise and rests at sunset. The law of people's work and rest, following the four seasons of heaven and earth, can maintain health and live a long life.
However, people who practice martial arts and boxing can refine and refine qi, and can transform the essence ingested into the body's vitality. It can also refine qi and transform the spirit, and transform the vitality in the body into a spirit and mind. It is mysterious and mysterious, but it is a real truth.
Therefore, people who practice boxing, with sufficient spirit and blood, are full of vitality and vitality, and can naturally sleep in the middle of the night and get up five watches, but they will not feel tired, but feel comfortable. Some boxers have said that the more you practice, the more comfortable you are, and if you feel tired, then you haven't practiced correctly.
In particular, Buddhism and Taoism each have their own secret methods, which can make a person recover all their energy without sleeping, or sleeping for a very small time.
Among the Buddhist sects, there are many eminent monks who often do not sleep all night. Just sit on the futon or on the bed, and after an hour or two, two or three hours, you can regain your energy. This is not an ordinary meditation, but a strange way of resting, and it is also combined with special breathing and exhaling skills, which ordinary people will never be able to do.
Among Taoists, there are similar methods. For example, Wudang, known as the ancestor of Neijiaquan, has a dragon sleeping pill skill. This exercise comes from the ancestor of Chen Chuan, who is said to have been lying on Mount Hua and sleeping for several days, and then attained the Tao in his sleep. Chen Luan's ancestor preached to the Fire Dragon Daoist, and the Fire Dragon Daoist passed on to the sloppy Taoist Zhang Sanfeng. It is said that once you fall asleep, you can achieve deep sleep, and one hour can be equivalent to seven or eight hours of sleep for ordinary people.
When he was in Luo Tuan, Su Ming had seen Li Shuwen, although he was already close to the sixtieth birthday, he was full of energy, and others were incomparable. Su Ming had gone to bed at eleven o'clock at night and got up at three o'clock in the morning. Li Shuwen slept later than him, got up early, and practiced almost all the time. At that time, Su Ming also asked his master Li Shuwen about this, and Li Shuwen only replied: "God is full of sleep." ”
However, people who have reached the realm of Li Shuwen can even do it at will, run qi and blood, always pay attention to the subtleties in the body, and can rest in walking, living, sitting and lying, and can also practice boxing. All kinds of mysteries are difficult to guess.
Su Ming turned over and went downstairs, it was more than three o'clock in the morning, and the road in the city was very clear under the bright moon and clear light. So he walked all the way, which contained the pile gong of Bajiquan, and the body and footwork of Baguazhang. Regardless of the road, you can take a detour around the city at will.
Although there are also body techniques and footwork in Bajiquan, they are not as flexible as Baguazhang. When Su Ming started with Xu Yijiang and his son in the Chinese Samurai Association in Tianjin City, he suffered some losses in body and footwork. Later, when he was in Shenyang, he practiced fighting with his senior brother Huo Diange, and he also suffered some losses in this regard.
Huo Diange and Cheng Yougong exchanged skills, and Bajiquan and Baguazhang were integrated. The eight poles are fierce and violent, and the gossip swims flexibly. The combination of the two kung fu, one rigid and one soft, one stable and one slippery, really gives people a feeling of being like a tiger with wings.
Su Ming received the teaching of Baguazhang from Huo Diange, and since then, he has also practiced from time to time. When I arrived in Taiyuan City yesterday, I didn't change my habits, I still got up at three o'clock and walked around the city. Baguazhang's body and footwork are becoming more and more proficient in continuous practice.
Walking in the city non-stop, sometimes there are occasional people on the road, and there are people like him who get up early in the morning to practice boxing. However, people who practice martial arts, when they encounter each other, will deliberately avoid them to avoid some inexplicable troubles.
After walking for an hour or two, I don't know where to go. When I turned a street corner, I saw a person who was also practicing early in the morning. As soon as Su Ming wanted to avoid it, he saw seven or eight big men suddenly rushing out from all directions in front of him, and he could vaguely see holding a gun in his hand, forcing the practitioner into a corner, tying it with rattan, putting it in a sack, lifting it and running. The whole process is extremely fast, it doesn't take more than a minute.
"Kidnapping?" Su Ming's heart moved, and he followed.
