Professor Hua was infected with the plague in his early years, and although he was cured of his illness, he was left with a disability, and when he walked, he first drew a circle with one foot, and then followed in a straight line with his hind foot.

Hua Luogeng's early research field was analytic number theory, and his achievements in analytic number theory are particularly well-known, and the internationally renowned "Chinese School of Analytic Number Theory" is the school founded by Hua Luogeng, which has made many significant contributions to the distribution of prime numbers and Goldbach's conjecture.

Hua Luogeng is also the founder and pioneer of Chinese analytic number theory, matrix geometry, canonical groups, automorphic function theory and other research.

Hua Luogeng's research on the theory of multiple complex variable functions and typical groups has been ahead of the Western mathematical community for more than 10 years, and he is the internationally famous "Chinese School of Typical Groups".

He founded the Chinese School of Mathematics and led it to the world-class level. It has cultivated many outstanding young people, such as Wang Yuan, Chen Jingrun, Wan Zhexian, Lu Qikeng, Gong Sheng, etc.

In the world, the mathematical research achievements named after Fahrenheit include "Fahrenheit's theorem", "Wyyi-Wahrenheit inequality", "Fahrenheit inequality", "Prouwer-Gaddanghua theorem", "Fahrenheit operator", "Hua-Wang method" and so on.

In the 40s of the 20th century, the historical problem of estimating the complete trigonometric sum of Gaussian was solved, and the best error order estimation was obtained. The results of G. H. In addition, there are more than 150 academic papers, such as the popular science works "Commentary on the Optimization Law and Its Supplement", "Commentary on the Overall Law and Supplement", etc., which are compiled as "Selected Works of Hua Luogeng's Popular Science Works".

This international mathematician, who only graduated from junior high school, was admired and respected in later generations, even at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, in the United States, or at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, Europe. He also taught a large number of famous mathematicians such as Chen Jingrun and Wang Yuan.
