Chapter 1 The Eight Extremes of National Art

Next Chapter

One morning in early October, a gentle breeze blows, and the branches and leaves of the trees and flowers sway in the wind, making a soft sound. Smell it carefully, there is a faint smell of sea tide in the wind, accompanied by a cool inhalation into the nose, which makes people instantly shocked.

It's just five o'clock in the morning, and the eastern sky is already shining. On the playground of Y University in Q City, Su Ming, who was alone, relaxed and stood on the shelf of the two piles, facing the direction of the sunrise. Exhale and breathe, long and thin, with the gradually rising sun, there is a unique feeling of vitality.

What Su Ming practiced was the Eight Extremes Fist in the national arts. The standing pile at this moment is the most basic pile gong and two instrument piles of Bajiquan.

Bajiquan was founded in the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty during the great master Wu Zhong, and is one of the most famous boxing techniques in the national arts. Those who call the "eight poles" follow the ancient saying that "there are eight yin outside Kyushu, there are eight Hong outside the eight Yin, and there are eight poles outside the eight Hong", which means "eight directions are extremely far away". In the early years, due to different regions, there were many names, such as "Bazi Boxing", "Eight Taboo Boxing", "Eight Skill Boxing", "Open the Eight Poles", "Open Boxing" and so on. However, in modern times, because of its characteristics that its strength can reach far away in all directions, it is named after the word "eight poles".

Su Ming is an orphan who grew up in an orphanage. At the age of six, he was adopted by his adoptive father Su Changxing. Su Changxing himself is a boxer who cultivates Bajiquan, and because the geographical location of Q City is close to the northeast, the Bajiquan he practices is Huo-style Bajiquan. Su Ming's Bajiquan was passed down from his adoptive father, Su Changxing.

Huo-style Bajiquan originated from the Republic of China period, and the great master of Bajiquan was Huo Diange. Huo Diange is the eldest disciple of Li Shuwen, the "magic spear" in the martial arts of the Republic of China. Li Shuwen, as a generation of giants in the history of Bajiquan, and his eldest disciple Huo Diange is also perfect. During the puppet Manchurian period, Huo Diange served as Puyi's martial arts instructor and guard officer for a long time. It was also during this period that Huo's Bajiquan spread in the northeast, especially in the three northeastern provinces, Tianjin, and Hebei.

Su Changxing has been practicing Bajiquan all year round, and he has also fought black boxing in the ring along the southern coast. Years of black boxing career have left him with a lot of dark injuries. Later, after not playing black boxing due to physical reasons, he came to Q City incognito and worked as a security guard in some companies for a living. By chance, when he saw Su Ming in the orphanage, his heart moved, and he couldn't bear to lose his eight-pole kung fu, so he adopted Su Ming. During this period, he naturally taught Su Ming all the boxing skills.

It's just that three years ago, after Su Changxing went out once, he returned with a serious injury. Su Ming asked again and again, but Su Changxing just kept silent. Although Su Ming was helpless, he also knew the reason in his heart.

When Su Changxing was at his peak, he was a master of boxing who practiced dark energy. Although he is no longer in peak condition, the person who can beat him to a serious injury is not idle. Su Ming is still young, and his boxing skills are just getting started, and he is definitely not an enemy opponent. Su Changxing was silent, obviously not wanting him to lose his life.

Su Changxing returned from serious injuries, and half a month later, he died. Su Ming suffered a great change from this, and his personality became taciturn. In the three years of high school, I didn't say a few words to my classmates. After the college entrance examination, I got good grades and was admitted to the city's Y University, and now I am a sophomore. However, with the improvement of boxing, the previous taciturn character has also changed a lot.

As the sun gradually rose, Su Ming stood for about an hour on the Liangyi pile, let out a long breath, and began to practice the small frame of Bajiquan.

The pile work of Bajiquan is different from the pile work of general boxing, which is divided into fixed-step piles and live step piles, which have an extremely unique side.

Among them, the Dingbu pile refers to the Liangyi pile that Su Ming practiced before, and the old-timers of the Baji Gate are also called the baby pile, which is said to be the secret of the standing pile realized by Wu Rong, the daughter of Wu Zhong, the ancestor of Bajiquan. If the two ritual piles are practiced, they will have the "cross strength" mentioned in Bajiquan. It is said that it is cross-strength, but in fact, it is strong in all directions, "there are hands everywhere", and no matter which direction the opponent attacks, it will be vigorously rebounded or injured.

The living step pile refers to the small frame of Bajiquan. The eight-pole small frame is composed of sixteen movements, although it is a live step pile, but it is built with two instrument piles as the frame. The small frame and the two instrument piles are interspersed with each other to practice, and when practicing, the movement and stillness are distinct, the square and the circle are both, the rigidity and softness are combined, and the inside and outside are combined, and the momentum is like a landslide, and the static momentum is like a sinking bell. There was once an image of the old-timers of the Baji Gate who pointed out that the practice frame is "one step at a time".

There are four ways to practice the live step pile of Bajiquan. First, the movement and stillness are distinct, one step at a time, when moving, it is like a thunderbolt, and when it is quiet, it is like standing on a fixed pile. The second is soft practice, no longer according to the practice method of one step at a time, the movements are soft and coherent, the virtual and the real are clear, and the luck is like a thread. The third is just practice, after the qi is full of strength and strength, the strength is really strong, the feet are sound, the steps fall to take root, the qi of the dantian, and the strength of the whole body. Fourth, the combination of rigidity and softness, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes rigid, sometimes soft, unpredictable.

These four practice methods cannot be obtained without the true transmission within the door. Each practice has unique techniques, power methods, etc. When Su Mingyuan was young, he only practiced according to the first two methods. Since fifteen years later, when the body is strong, the third method has been practiced.

Unconsciously, the sky was already bright, and there were many people on the playground, and many people pointed at Su Ming. Su Ming was just practicing his own, not caring about the eyes of others. Until finally, with a crisp sound, he knocked his elbow on the tree beside him. Under the vigor, the big trees trembled, and many leaves fell one after another. When he raised his elbow, he saw a clear elbow mark on the trunk of the big tree.

"I am now fully permeable, and the strength of my whole body can be twisted into a strand, which is already the upper level of Ming Jin's kung fu. It's just that I don't know how to practice that dark kung fu. After Su Mingchen finished practicing, he couldn't help but ponder in his heart.

"My big star, are you practicing again?"

A sentence came, interrupting Su Ming's pondering. Su Ming looked up and saw a boy about 1.8 meters tall, who looked to be no more than eighteen or nineteen years old, wearing a white T-shirt on his upper body and blue jeans on his lower body.

"Dong Peng, you're also here for morning exercises." Su Ming also smiled slightly when he saw the person coming. The person who came was called Dong Peng, and he and Su Ming were roommates in the same dormitory, and they usually liked sports. The whole dormitory has a habit of morning exercise, and only the two of them are there.

When Dong Peng saw Su Ming, he sighed in his mouth: "I can't compare with you, I get up before five o'clock every day to practice." Especially this kung fu, which makes others envious to death. ”

Su Ming heard that although he was a big star in his mouth, and he was envious in one mouthful, he knew that he was joking, and he didn't care, and said, "I'm going to have breakfast, are you going?" ”

Dong Peng also finished practicing in the morning, so he went to the cafeteria together.

As the highest university in Q City, and even the highest university in Hebei Province, Y University is close to the sea, and the campus scenery is breathtaking, and it is known as one of the most beautiful universities in northern China. Along the way, I saw young students of both men and women, full of vitality. There are many people pointing at the two of them, and they are happy: "Look at it, it is worthy of our Y big kung fu star, and he attracts attention wherever he goes." ”

Su Ming said angrily: "You didn't provoke it?" ”

This is a year ago, when Su Ming first entered the school, he got up early and exercised in the morning, and was discovered by Dong Peng. Dong Peng's family also has some forces, and he has also learned some fighting methods such as sanda and grappling since he was a child, and ordinary three or four people are not his opponents. Seeing Su Ming practicing boxing, his curiosity rose, and he insisted on practicing with Su Ming.

Su Ming's self-practiced national art, only killing the enemy and not performing, and never showing mercy when he shot, so he politely refused. How do you know that this Dong Peng is simply a talent, if you can't do it once, you will grind you twice, and if you can't do it twice, you will grind it three times. Until Su Ming couldn't bear it anymore, he finally made a move in secret.

Although Dong Peng has some fighting skills and strength, he is not too bad in a person like Su Ming who cultivates the Eight Extremes of Authentic National Martial Arts and has profound kung fu. Su Ming was just an elbow blow, and although Dong Peng blocked with his arms, his ears were buzzing, and his arms were in unbearable pain. Shocked, only then did he know that Su Mingping's kung fu was so powerful.

The two of them were originally in the same dormitory, and they had similar interests, so the relationship got better. Later, Su Ming also passed on some of Dong Peng's methods such as standing piles. It's just that Dong Peng has practiced fighting and other sports for many years, and his muscles and bones are too hard, and some hidden dangers will inevitably be left in the dark. Although the effect of standing piles is good, it is not something that can be seen at a moment's notice.

As for the kung fu star, it's another matter.

Every year after the new students of Y University enroll, there is a club recruitment activity. When they first entered the school last year, the Chinese Wushu Association and the Taekwondo Association of Y University both recruited a large number of newcomers. These two clubs are not dealing with each other in the first place, but the recruitment of new seats is still opposite. Both sides are people who practice martial arts, and the anger is already greater than ordinary people, and under the cynicism, it is inevitable that some conflicts will arise, and in the end, they will make a ring to compete in martial arts.

This originally had nothing to do with Su Ming, but Dong Peng was a good one. He was originally biased towards the Chinese Wushu Association, and after seeing that the Wushu Association was down, he volunteered to come to the stage and was also defeated. In this anger, he went back to the dormitory and pulled Su Ming over.

Su Ming has been practicing Bajiquan for more than ten years, and although he only practiced pile gong at first, he had the effect of cultivating yuan and nourishing qi, stretching tendons and pulling bones, and strengthening his physique. By the time I went to college, it was already the work of the upper echelons of Mingjin. This is just a taekwondo club on a college campus, where can you meet any powerful people. But since Dong Peng pulled him over, he also vented his anger for him.

After he came to the stage, he knocked his opponent down with the simplest elbow strike, numb all over, and lay down for half a minute before getting up. There were several more people, and they were all put down by him in one face.

The taekwondo club was unwilling, and secretly found a few masters from the taekwondo club in the city, but they were all easily defeated by Su Ming. After that, things got bigger and bigger. It wasn't until a master of the taekwondo club in the provincial capital came to Q City and secretly fought with Su Ming that although the taekwondo club was reluctant, it had no choice but to withdraw from the ring.

After that, Su Ming became famous in Y poop. He was originally tall and strong because he had studied national art since he was a child. And because of the lot of sports, the whole person looks relatively sunny, and he was crazy to be pursued by the girls of Y University, and was named the "Kung Fu Star" of Y University. This also leads to the fact that whenever he walks on the road, there is always someone pointing at him.

Su Ming himself is not a person who likes to be lively, and seeing this scene, he naturally blackmailed Dong Peng before giving up. But a year has passed, and the original heat has almost passed. Now that Su Ming is walking on the road, there are many fewer people pointing at him.
