"God Emperor bless, all this is incredible. Pen Γ fun Γ Pavilion www. ο½ο½ο½ο½ο½ο½ γ "I said to the old man," I said, "you must have been blessed by the Emperor. β
"I don't know these things, Lord Reverend," said the old man, whose name was Vonne, "but you may be right. β
"How many of you are left?" I slowly sat down on my mattress, still holding my holy book in my hand.
"About forty or so people, all railroad workers and militiamen," Feng En sighed, "when the whole city is evacuated, we will be responsible for moving them." β
It dawned on me what was happening, they were vehicle dispatchers, they were responsible for getting the others to evacuate, but when everyone else had left, there was no one to evacuate them.
"May the Emperor be with you." I said.
"Thank you, Reverend. By the way, we can give you some supplies if we want supplies, but we don't have much of our own, after all, there was very little left behind during the Great Evacuation. β
Von sat against the wall, a pen in his hand, the harsh living conditions of the nest made him look almost seventy years old, his face wrinkled like a crumpled persimmon, only a few tufts of white hair on his head, and a scruffy beard on his chin.
"Actually," Ryan interrupted suddenly, rubbing his red and swollen soles just now, "It's better if there are supplies, but I'd prefer to have a transportation to take us to the city of Anco Ostan to the east, a train is the best." β
"A train?" The old man snorted, "Do you think there will be any trains left in a nest that has just undergone a great retreat?" The tone was sarcastic.
"That's what I want to know." Ryan stared intently at the old man.
"That's a good point."
The old man frowned a little dissatisfied, took a small black stick from his pocket, and shoved it into his mouth.
"I know you big soldiers, so I'll just say it, no. Yes, we still have a few cars to use, but they don't work, we don't have the front of the car to pull them, and the front of the car is broken. β
"Can you fix those broken ground heads?" Ryan writhed twice with some uneasiness, and it was clear that the crowded nest was making him uncomfortable.
I understand that feeling. I had never experienced life in the Hive, but in my past years of fighting, I had seen the crowded rooms and the gray-black steel sky countless times, and in fact, in that environment, people who were not familiar with life in the Hive City were indeed prone to irritability.
But on the other hand, I glanced at Arbitrator Alice standing in the doorway, and she seemed to be at ease.
"Perhaps, at least none of us can fix them," said the old man.
Then an awkward silence enveloped us, and in fact, we could barely hear anything but the snoring of the slumbering soldiers who were slumped on the ground.
"Actually, we have a mechanical priest on our team." Ryan said suddenly, interrupting the awkward silence.
"Mechanical Priest?" Von wiped his mouth, "That's another story." β
Then we lowered our heads again, and did not speak, except for the chewing of the old men and the snoring of the soldiers.
"It's all settled" Suddenly, a short figure appeared at the door, "Uncle Vonne, I've already taken those soldiers to the rooms on the third teleportation floor, well, I think the ventilation there is better." β
"Ah, yes, yes," said the old man, "go and inform Norman, that he may prepare some hot water for our guests." β
"Okay" The short figure let out a crisp echo and walked away, but after a short while, came over again, and looked at me, and at my priest's robes.
"The Emperor is with you, child." I smiled as kindly as I could, so that my face of all the trials and tribulations would not frighten the young girl
"Is there anything I can do for me?"
"Hello, Lord Reverend! The Emperor is with you. Can you let the emperor bless my mom and dad? Tell them that Ann is very well-behaved and obedient, okay, Lord Pastor? β
The old man had an embarrassed expression on his face, as if he wanted to say something, I raised my hand to stop him, and then stretched out my holy book to the girl, "Of course, child, I always believe that the emperor will bless those who are loyal to him, and so will you. β
The girl smiled happily, solemnlyβin a manner not appropriate for her ageβa somewhat lame Aquila salute, and ran away.
"Ann is a good boy, Lord Reverend. I hope you don't be surprised, we told her after the evacuation that her parents had gone with the crowd, and she seemed quite happy. Von said, tears welling up in his eyes, "Thank you, Reverend. β
"No, don't thank me, I couldn't do anything," I looked at the girl who was actually going downstairs - and the empty floor sleeve to her left.
I never do enough.

"Damn it, Lester, what do you want to do!" Makan let out an angry roar, if in the old days, he would definitely not have just shouted twice, but now Makan, the powerful Chaos wizard, collapsed to the ground like a dead dog, weak and tired, completely incapacitated, unable to even move.
"I don't want to do anything, I told you about that."
"What you told me at the time was that I would be a little weak, not like I am now."
"Oh, then you may be mistaken." Lester slowly walked out of the darkness, his eyes twinkling crimson under his breathing mask.
"I mean, when you were in your heyday, as for now, you don't even have a single percent of your strength, and you still blindly use the curse to bind the evil blade, do you think you can stand it? You're as stupid as a, Makan. Lester walked over to Makan, who was slumped to the ground, and a group of dark servants stepped out and set him up.
"So, guess what I'll do with you who are no longer useful? Vignon's overlord? β
"Damn bastard!" Makan shouted, "How dare you threaten me like this, Lord Pilattobao's loyal men? β
"No, it's not a threat" Lester circled around and walked into the darkness again, "Your Excellency Pilatto doesn't like useless waste, that's what he told me, so, your threat is meaningless, if you want to say, you can only blame you for being too greedy and too unlucky." β
Then, the Dark Servants lifted Makan to his feet, ignored Makan's fearful shouts, and entered a secret assembly plant.
In the midst of the filthy flesh and machinery stood a pitch-black steel behemoth, with a square shape, a heavy cannon flashing with purple light in its left hand and a giant claw glowing red in its right hand.
"The Annihilator!" Makan let out a cry of despair: "What are you going to do? β
"Just give you a chance, a chance to dedicate your remaining power to the cause of Chaos, and that way will also make you immortal, won't it?"
Lester's emotionless voice rang out, "Be happy, what are you not satisfied with?" I saved your life. β
"No !!!" The mournful echo of Makan echoed through the chamber like a dying beast, vicious and desperate.
