78 Possessed Ghosts
It was a collapsed underground palace on the edge of the Scarlet Plains, less than ten miles from the Black Songde River, and the sound of the raging river could still be faintly heard.
Alan cautiously watched the collapsed area from a distance, and his body was covered with a layer of fantasy that simulated the surrounding environment - silent phantom, this spell can create a five-squared illusion, and now it is used by Alan to disguise, and the effect is also good.
"How did the Warlock's lair end up in this wilderness?" he wondered as he looked at the ruined place.
He didn't come right away after asking where Jacob was going, but instead took a detour to the same place where he had hidden his belongings and retrieved his belongings, originally worried about running into the mystical warlock, but apparently, Alan had overestimated the warlock, or underestimated his means of escape.
The journey went smoothly, and he retrieved his things without incident, and then he ran here without stopping - it was already that night.
It was impossible for the merchant to know Jacob's specific goal, and Alan naturally didn't know, he only knew a rough idea, but when he came to the neighborhood and looked for it for a short time, a loud noise attracted him, and now he saw that what should have been a flat meadow was now exposed to the buildings below, and turned into a complex of buildings in ruins.
He thought that the ruins must have been caused by Jacob, but he didn't find a human figure, so he didn't dare to expose it, but observed.
Around the ruins, a circle of bright white light floated, like fireflies, but like a special power, which was one of the reasons why he could see there clearly.
There had been an obvious battle here before, so much so that what was hidden underground was exposed, but Eren had been here for so long that he hadn't noticed the slightest soundβwas it over?
Just as he was secretly wondering, a vine suddenly burst out of the earth not far from the ruins, and then bloomed like a bud, revealing a tall figure, it was Jacob, and he was still holding a man in his hand.
"How did you find this camp?" a question rang out in the ruins as Jacob appeared, and the voice was familiar, it was Walter who had captured him.
Then Alan saw that the black mist rose out of the ruins, slowly converging into a human form, dressed in a black cloak, wrapped in it, unable to see his appearance, but obviously it could not be someone else.
"Why did you get here?" Alan secretly wondered, according to his thoughts, this guy should still be tracking himself, did he give up when he saw that he had no clue?
"I only know a rough idea. Jacob smiled, then shook the man in his hand: "He found it." β
"Who is he?" the black cloak asked.
"Who knows. Jacob chuckled, then looked down and asked, "Tell me how you found out about these guys' lair." β
"I didn't know it was their lair, I just sensed the power of the shadows. The captive who was held in Jacob's hands replied, and Allen had a good eye and could see everything there clearly.
He thought the man was familiar, but for a moment he couldn't remember where he had seen him, but he didn't wonder for long, and the words of the black cloak told him the answer.
"You're Rabert, aren't you having a grudge against these Apocalypse, how did you help them?"
"Ratt?" Alan thought for a moment, wasn't that the guy who had brought the letter to him when he was Samuel, why did he get here?
And, looking at that outfit, it seems to be similar to the guy who would be invisible before....
Enmity with the Apocalypse?
"I'm just with the Chriss, not with Samuel. Rabert's answer made Alan frown.
"I have a grudge against Chrissy, so let him bring the letter...", he subconsciously thought of the letter.
The letter was in the camp, and he didn't carry it with him, so he didn't pay much attention to it, but now that he thinks about it, I'm afraid that some manipulation has been done inside.
"So don't you know that Chrissy and Samuel were together?"
"What can you do clearly? Can't you see what I'm doing now?" said Rabert, pulling the corners of his mouth bitterly.
He was now held in Jacob's hands, and his body was still wrapped in countless vines, and the spikes were pressed against his clothes, and green smoke was emitting from them, and he looked so terrifying that he didn't dare to move.
It can only be said that he was very unlucky, and ran into a group of people who pit the black cloak, but the black cloak did not pit and led him out.
"Don't talk nonsense, let's continue?"
"Hmph, it's a fool to beat me with you!" the cloaked man sneered, and suddenly turned into a black mist and swept away, seeing this, Jacob didn't seem to have any intention of giving up, and as soon as he raised his footsteps, he went straight to the black mist in mid-air!
The green and black forces surged and entangled, and the fight drifted away, and Alan got up and was about to do something, but a vine suddenly grew at his feet, and he looked down to see that there was a bunch of notes rolled on it.
"Can this be?" Alan was not surprised by his exposure, but surprised by Jacob's methods.
Although he didn't know the specific situation, he thought that the master's perception of the surrounding environment was definitely not weak, and Allen's silent phantom was just a disguised illusion, and it couldn't be seamless, and he even suspected that the black cloak had found himself, but he temporarily ignored it because of Jacob's existence.
Picking up the note, the line on it made Alan squint: "There's a trap inside, wait for me to come back." β
"Sure enough. Shaking his head secretly, Alan did not intend to be good at making a good opinion, but followed Jacob's advice, in this case, he felt that he should be cautious.
However, when he got to this day, his original intention of waiting quietly was suddenly dispelled, and he looked at the exposed ruins and showed a malicious smile.
"I don't know what kind of trap is inside, I'm afraid of flooding. β

In the simple and bright church, a group of monks surround a middle-aged man in a linen shirt, with a sad face.
"Don't, don't, don't come!"
In the face of many monks, the middle-aged man retreated in horror as if he had seen some terrifying enemy, which made the monks' faces more and more sad.
"How many are you already?"
"I can't count, the first one of the day, I can only be sure of that. β
"I wish Kilmond's brilliance would have mercy on these poor people, alas. β
"It is estimated that His Majesty Deliel is probable, and His Majesty Kilmond does not advocate saving people.... We can only pray silently for him. β
"So why did they send these poor stupid people here?"
"There's no other place to settle down, churches are places to save lives, everybody thinks, but don't they know what Kilmond's crown is about?"
"Ugh...."
The monks sighed, but the priest who passed by not far away shouted: "Silence, do what you have to do!"
"Father Robert, we have applied a stabilisation to him, but to no avail. β
"yes, he's been so frightened that it's beyond our capabilities. β
Seeing the sad expressions of the monks, the priest went up and looked at the sick man sitting on the ground, frowned, and then whispered something, and tapped his finger lightly to his forehead.
A burst of light blue brilliance appeared from the belly of his finger, and in the face of this light approaching, the middle-aged man looked sluggish as if he had seen a stunning beauty, and he was not panicked, just watching this finger approach.
However, when the priest's finger touched his forehead, the man's sluggish face suddenly became extremely hideous, and he grabbed the priest's arm violently and bit it down!
"Ahββ!h
The screams appeared in this small church, and many monks hurriedly stepped forward to pull the priest away, only to find that the priest's arm had been bitten and bloody, and the skin was open.
The monks hurriedly found ropes, tied up the man, who was obviously in an abnormal state, and looked at the injured priest.
"Are you alright?"
The priest clutched his arms and did not respond, his eyes looked at the man who was constantly struggling with a distorted face, his face looked extremely frightened, and he subconsciously muttered: "Can these ghosts already be possessed?"
Many monks looked at him with a pale face, and although they didn't quite understand the situation, they also felt a sinking heart.
Walking back and forth, the priest suddenly walked towards the outside of the church: "No, I have to inform the Charles Knight as soon as possible!"
