In the evening, Li Ningyang rushed back to the cave, but when he came out to look for the body, he had to think that he was unlucky.

Li Ningyang has no body, wandering, and already looks like a beggar on the street. When he saw a hungry corpse in the woods, he went hungry through the chimney. He rubbed his eyes with both hands, and rubbed the eye sockets like two big holes, so he called himself Li Kongmu, and people often ignored his characteristic and only paid attention to the crutches, so they called him Tie Guan Li.

It has been passed down from generation to generation, and various sayings are different, but basically it is also a meaning, and some people say that it is said that the original name of Tie Guan Li was Li Xuan, and he once met Taishang Laojun to get the Tao. Once, its soul left its body and wandered among the three mountains and five mountains. Before leaving, he instructed his apprentice to take care of the body, but Li Xuan's soul wandered around and lingered. The apprentices waited for a long time, and when they saw that the master's body was always frozen there, and could not survive, they mistakenly thought that he was dead, so they cremated him. When Li Xuan returned, his body was gone, and his soul had no place to return. It happened that there was a starving beggar on the side of the road nearby, and the corpse was still fresh, so Li Xuan attached his soul to the beggar corpse in a hurry. After borrowing the corpse to return to the soul, Li Xuan was unrecognizable from the original Li Xuan, unkempt, with an open belly and exposed chest, and a limp. In order to support his body and walk, Li Xuan sprayed a mouthful of fairy water on a bamboo pole used by the original beggar, and the bamboo pole immediately turned into an iron rod.

The story of Tie Guan Li's resurrection of the corpse is also seen in the miscellaneous drama "Lu Dong Bindu Tie Guan Li Yue" written by Yue Bochuan in the Yuan Dynasty, and it is also recorded in the later "Journey to the East", but the plot is different.
