The three of them knew in their hearts that it was indeed a very nerve-wracking thing for the old monk to resist so many monks alone! I just hope that the total solar eclipse will pass quickly, and when the total solar eclipse passes, these scenes should disappear. Pen, fun, pavilion www. biquge。 info

Just when the three of them were very worried about the safety of the old monk, there was a sudden loud sound of scriptures, musical instruments, and dazzling Buddha light illuminating the entire mountaintop...

The old monk stopped chanting the scriptures and looked up at the sky with amazement!

Zhou Tianyi, Miao Weiqiang, and Dong Tinghua were shocked when they looked at the miracle that suddenly appeared above!

At this time, in the sky above the White Elephant Mountain, eight strange-looking monsters chanted scriptures, holding strange musical instruments in their arms, some were beating drums, and some were playing the pipa!

"Eight Heavenly Dragons ・・・・・・!" The old monk exclaimed.

Hearing the words of the old monk, Zhou Tianyi, Miao Weiqiang, and Dong Tinghua were shocked, these ・・・・・・ suddenly appeared Buddha shadows turned out to be the legendary Eight Heavenly Dragons!

The legend of the Eight Tenryu comes to mind!

The eight Tenryu are; One day, the two nagas, the three nakshats, the four gandharvas, the five asuras, the six garudas, the seven kinaras, and the eight maharajas. "Eight Heavenly Dragons", also known as the Eight Divisions of the Heavenly Dragon, the Eight Divisions of the Dragon God, and the Eight Divisions, these terms come from Buddhist scriptures. When many Mahayana sutras narrate the Buddha's teachings to the bodhisattvas and monks, the eight divisions of the Heavenly Dragon often participate in listening to the Dharma. The Eight Heavenly Dragons include eight Shinto monsters, and because the "Celestial Beings" and "Dragon Beings" are the most important, they are called the "Tenryu Babu".

Each Tianlong is different, and everyone refers to it every day; It is called Deva in India, and it is called Tian in Chinese. It is usually said that there are 28 days in the Three Realms, but the heavens mentioned here mainly refer to the earthly heavens in the realm of desire, including the four heavenly kings and the heavenly beings of the Celestial Heavens. If there are sentient beings in the world who should be able to attain it with a heavenly body, then Avalokiteshvara, that is, the heavenly body, is its saying. The Lengyan Sutra says: "If there are heavens, happy to be happy, I will appear in the heavens, and for the sake of the Dharma, so that it will be accomplished", this is the meaning. In the six astronomical circles of the former Nengying, although there should be six different kinds of heavenly bodies, they are said to be about a few days, and now they are always said to be heavens, so they are different from the past.

Two Dragons; In China, this has always been said to be one of the four spirits, that is, supernatural things that can be good at change. According to Buddhism, there are all kinds of dragons: there are heavenly dragons who guard the heavenly palace, there are sea dragons who guard the dragon palace, there are hidden dragons who guard treasures, and there are rain dragons that can cause rain. No matter what kind of dragon it is, no one has ever seen it. However, in ancient times, China and India had legends of dragons, and we can't help but admit that there were dragons. Although the dragon's good fortune is great, its karma is also very deep, and it is not possible to enjoy its good fortune safely.

According to Buddhist legends, the Dapeng goldfinch bird likes to eat dragons the most, because the dragon body is very long, they eat it, just like the world eats noodles, so dragon beings, often suffer from the threat of life, that is, the most afraid of the Dapeng goldfinch bird.

Once, when the Buddha was meditating by the sea, the dragon encountered the threat of the goldfinch and came to the Buddha to ask for help, hoping to relieve the goldfinch from its difficulty of grabbing food. The Buddha was merciful, that is, he gave some of the robes to the dragon king, and asked him to tear the robes into one by one and drape them on the body of the dragon's sons and grandsons, so as to avoid the difficulty of catching and eating the gold-winged bird, because the gold-winged bird saw the Buddha's robe, and did not dare to eat the dragon again, and protected the life safety of the dragons, which also shows the power of the robe!

Three Yakshas; There are also good and evil Nakshatras, the one who loves to eat people is the evil Nakshatra, and the one who supports the Dharma is the Good Nakshatra. For example, when a bhikshu or a bhikshuni ascends the altar and takes the ordination, he starts to perform the four karmas, and the earthly yaksha will tell the empty yaksha very happily, and when the empty yaksha gets the news, he will happily tell the four heavenly kings, and if he reaches the heavenly demon palace, he will be terrified! Good Nakshatra protects pedestrians and upholds the Dharma. If there is a class of sentient beings in the world who should transform into a Yaksha body in order to attain liberation, then Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is compassionate and compassionate, that is, the Yaksha body is the Dharma. As the well-known face of the monk, it is the appearance of Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Four Qianminpo; The Chinese translation is to seek incense, smell incense, eat incense, and incense god. It is the god of music in front of the throne of the Emperor of Theri. Since Emperor Shakti loves the five desires, of course, he also likes to listen to music, whenever Emperor Shakti wants to listen to music, he does not need to send celestial people to find the god of music, but only burns a stick of incense in front of him. This music god often lives in the Vajra Cave on the south side of Mount Meru and is able to fly into the void. If there is a class of sentient beings in the world who should be transformed into a person in the body of a Gandharva, and then they can attain liberation, then Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is compassionate and compassionate, that is, the body of the Gandharva is the Dharma. The Lengyan Sutra says: "If the Qiansha is happy, I am in front of him, and I am now the Qianyan woman's body, and for the sake of the Dharma, so that it can be achieved", which is also the meaning.

Five Asuras; 1. Non-heaven, which means that Shura has the blessing of heaven and man, but has no virtue of heaven and man. 2. Unjustified, according to the scriptures, the asura woman is very beautiful and dignified, but the asura man is extremely ugly and does not have the slightest uprightness. 3. No alcohol, legend has it that in the past, Asura was very fond of drinking, but there was a time when he couldn't find wine and had no alcohol to drink, so he simply quit drinking, so it was said that there was no alcohol.

The greatest trait of an asura is that he is very suspicious and does not trust others no matter what he does. Because of the suspicion, the fighting power is also strong, and the competitive spirit is much more than others. Shura loves to fight the emperor the most, but there are also reasons for it.

Legend has it that the king of Asura had a daughter named Sheri, who was indeed very beautiful, and it can be said that there are few beautiful women like this in the world. Later, it was known to the Emperor Shakti, who lived in heaven and did not break the love of men and women, so he married an asura woman, and had a son-in-law relationship with the king of Asura, and the relationship between them was also very good. Soon after the marriage of Emperor Shakti and Shefat, in order to show his respect for his father-in-law, Emperor Shakti specially invited the Asura King to visit and stay in the heavenly palace, of course, with great courtesy. When Asura was about to go back after having fun, Emperor Shakti was about to show a grand farewell, and the honor guard of the specially appointed heavenly soldiers and generals lined up on both sides to send him off, but he didn't know that Asura not only did not receive the hospitality of his son-in-law, but suspected that Emperor Shakti intended to demonstrate in front of him and intimidate him, and he felt very unhappy in his heart...
