A true bhikshu does not wear anything other than three clothes, and the cold wind does not need to be resisted by thick cotton clothes, but should be faced, the cold wind can keep the bhikshu awake, and it is also a practice to overcome the cold with the body.

Speaking of this "food", the monks should eat once a day, that is, they only eat one meal a day at noon, and the monks only use a bowl to fast, and I can say that after having the filial disciple of Sun Wukong, there are no less than three meals a day.

Speaking of bowls, my purple gold bowl is actually out of line to be honest, but this is a gift from the Tang King, and I have to use it.

It stands to reason that monks can only use clay bowls or iron bowls, stone bowls because they are sacred objects used by the Buddha when he attained enlightenment, so monks cannot use them, gold, silver and bronze are not allowed to touch them because they do not hold money rings, porcelain, glaze and flower inlays can not be used, and wooden bowls are things that are not allowed to be used. There are also rules on the color of the bowl, which can only be black, dark red, dark blue, and even the volume is specified in detail.

If a bowl that is not in accordance with the rules is not as good as the Dharma, other monks can snatch it and smash it, and it is not considered a violation of the precepts.

Bhikshus should have no place to live, and if they live, they are the place of Aran, and what is Aranja is a quiet place suitable for meditation.

They live in a quiet place far from the village where the drums are not heard, usually at least four miles outside the village. You can live in a mound, stop under a tree, a cave, or a deserted and abandoned empty house.

If it is a rainy night, there is no shelter from the rain, and the walking monk will keep walking.

Buddhism says that urban and rural settlements are places where the habits of the lay people are polluted, and the sand gate should not stay, far away from the dyeing and quiet, the Brahman line is far away, and the mountains and forests are long, not in the middle of the people, and they are happy and idle, and they are dedicated to it.

Finally, he said that this "line" should not talk to people, but look at the ground, sit up and walk, and do not change his mind, so as to travel to distant countries and teach the people.

The monks all walk all the way on their feet, but I not only have horses, but also dragon horses! Look at how powerful you are! Are you still qualified to say that you are a walking monk when riding a horse?

Actually, it's not because I'm lazy or physically poor that I can't walk, there is indeed a reason, 108,000 miles! Just kidding, if I really walk step by step with my feet, I really don't know what year and month I have to go to Lingshan.

In fact, I used to walk by myself, when I was still in Jinshan Temple, every spring and autumn would carry out a short distance of foot begging, from the beginning of my entry into the temple, every year I was in the list. And the old owner of this Guanyin Temple has not been out of the temple for two hundred and sixty years.

There is also this tin cane, Tang Seng's tin cane in the TV series is held all the time, and it is completely used as a trekking pole.

The monk's tin staff should be usually collected, and can only be taken out after the statue, and can not be shouted loudly when holding a battle and begging, and the cane lets people know that the monk is coming, and there are regulations for shaking a few times, first three and then five and then seven, and can not be used as a crutch weapon.

When holding the cane, the tin cane cannot touch the ground, and it must be placed on the surface of the foot when stopping, the head of the cane should not face down, and the head of the cane cannot be put away first, but it can be hung on the tree, and the monk must sleep in the same direction as the head of the cane, and the head of the cane is not allowed to face down when walking.

There are 12 rings on the tin rod, which symbolize the 12 causes and conditions: ignorance, action, knowledge, fame, sex, six entry, touch, receiving, loving, taking, being, birth, old age and death. These 12 methods of cause and effect reveal the laws of the cycle of cause and effect in the past, present, and future lives.

The 12 karma is a chain of hooks and locks, and the relationship between them is implicated, and there is a verse that says: "Ignorance and love take the three afflictions, and there are two branches for the karmic path, from knowing to receiving and dying of old age, such as the seven things are the path of suffering." It is the principle that the twelve causes and conditions are the three realms of confusion, karma, and suffering.

However, the nine-ring tin staff given by Guanyin Bodhisattva can be disassembled, because I don't have to beg for food, the food is done by Sun Wukong, and my nine-ring tin staff is disassembled in the suitcase, the tin staff should be twelve rings, and mine is only nine, and the missing three rings are implying something.

In my previous life, I also laughed at the fact that today's monks are all fake, not to mention drinking wine and eating meat, and even some are married and have children, but even the fake monks are not for everyone, and they still need a diploma!

But when I came to this Shenzhou world, I really became a monk, thinking about the real monks I had seen before, I knew what a Buddhist disciple was, of course, not including this Guanyin Temple.

In my previous life, I wondered how monks solved their physical problems, whether they would have spring dreams or something. Only when I became a monk did I know that I didn't have any troubles about this at all, because monks only fell asleep in the middle of the night.

The night is divided into three sections, before, during and after, and the middle night is about 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock in the morning, which is only about four hours.

If you only sleep for four hours, you basically don't dream, and when you wake up, you have to continue your practice and meditate. At first, you may feel tired because you haven't slept enough, but after a period of time, your sleep quality will improve, and sleeping only in the middle of the night is enough, not only will you not feel tired, but you will be able to free up more time to practice.

Thinking wildly, it was almost ten o'clock, I fell asleep in a daze, and around two o'clock in the morning, when I woke up again, I was dumbfounded.

Didn't I sleep in the house, why do I open my eyes now and see the stars in the sky?

Except for the rattan bed I slept on, the whole meditation room was burning like crazy, and I felt like I was in a big furnace!

I suddenly found that although the fire had been burning violently and the roof had collapsed, I didn't feel the heat of the flames, I didn't smell a trace of smoke, I didn't even hear the sound of burning.
