Chapter 435: You're Here

The cold wind whistled in my ears, and as I fell rapidly, the robe on my body also bulged all at once, and immediately offset part of the force of the fall, just like those gliding suits, and I continued to support a layer of mana, so from a distance, I seemed to be floating directly from the top of Mount Everest.

In fact, at the end of the day, I kept stepping on the cliff with my feet to offset some of the momentum, so that I could get down as fast as I could.

At this time, the five people were already stunned, and even their eyes were full of awe.

"Ready? I have to go. I looked at the five people who were dumbfounded and said directly.

"Right away, right away, we'll be ready right away." At this time, everyone reacted, quickly ran back to the cave, and began to pack their things.

I waited in place for more than ten minutes, and then I saw that several people were all armed, with trekking poles in their hands and ropes wrapped around their bodies.

Sometimes, it is far easier to go up the mountain than to go down, and even in some places, you can go up without a rope, but you have to use it when you go down, and several of them are obviously veterans and fully equipped.

Seeing this, I was also a little relieved, although I was kind enough to take them, it doesn't mean that I like to be a nanny.

"Where's your sister?" At this time, the woman suddenly exclaimed, and the rest of the people also came to their senses, they had sensed something wrong before, but they had not thought about it, and after being reminded at this time, they immediately looked at me with shock.

"Don't ask what you shouldn't." I gave the woman a cold look, then turned to leave.

When I looked at her, the woman only felt cold, colder than the cold wind outside.

The middle-aged man stepped forward and gave the woman a look not to talk nonsense, and then quickly followed.

On the plateau, especially on Mount Everest, the most taboo is sudden vigorous exercise, and even any movement must be as soft as possible, so the speed of everyone walking is not fast, especially some flat places are full of snow, which can't help but slow down again.

In fact, autumn is generally chosen for mountaineering, and that time is also the most suitable time for mountaineering, so for these people who dare to climb up in winter, I have to admire their courage, and even don't they look at the weather forecast? With such a big snowstorm, you should be able to get the news in advance.

If it hadn't been for me up the mountain, they wouldn't have been here for much longer.

Along the way, because I was walking in front, they only needed to follow my footprints, so there was no need to waste time exploring the way, but for safety, everyone still had a rope tied to their waists, and the front end was directly held by my hand.

And in some steep places, I originally had to tie pegs on the ice and then go down little by little, but now I directly dragged the rope and lowered them one by one.

Perhaps they had never experienced this kind of experience, and although they were tired, they were in good spirits.

The road I came up before was not the same as theirs, compared to the route I took, this route was much smoother, and when I went down to an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, there were two places to stay, one was the Everest base camp and the other was Rongbu Temple.

If it is in April and May every year, the Everest base camp will also have tourists gathering, and it will slowly become a gathering point, but at this time, there is almost no one there, because the environment of Rongbu Temple further down is better.

Don't look at the difference between 5,000 meters above sea level and 8,000 meters above sea level, but in fact, from 8,000 meters to 5,000 meters, the distance in between is almost 20 kilometers.

If it is on a flat road, 20 kilometers is only two hours, but this kind of mountain road, especially the road on Mount Everest, after walking for five hours, you can still only see the lighthouse erected next to Rongbu Temple in the distance.

Because of the high altitude and the fact that the sun was setting in the west, it would not get dark until about eight o'clock in winter, so when I finally arrived at Rongbu Temple with five people who were almost exhausted, it was just getting dark.

The return of our group immediately caused a sensation, in fact, there were many people who came with these five people, but it was only the five of them who really dared to climb up, originally they planned to stay for a few days, and then leave when they returned, but no one thought of this, and it snowed heavily.

Those who didn't go were glad and couldn't help but worry, but in this kind of weather, there was no way to rescue at all, so they could only wait anxiously, but no one expected that before the search team arrived, several people came back, not only one less, but one more.

Rongbuk Temple can be called the tallest temple in the world, and even had a period of glory, but now it can only be used as a place for tourists to stay, and even gradually evolved into a place such as a hotel.

But even so, the main hall of Rongbu Temple still enshrines the Buddha statues of Shakyamuni and Padmasambhava.

Compared with the well-known Shakyamuni, Padmasambhava knows less, but in Tibet, Padmasambhava is almost comparable to Shakyamuni, because Padmasambhava is the patriarch of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, the ancestor of the Supreme Tantric Dzogchen teachings, and it is even rumored that he is the incarnation of Amitabha Buddha and Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Looking at the crowd, I quietly left alone, without alarming anyone.

"How did you get down?"

"Before, the search and rescue team said that they couldn't go up in this kind of weather, let alone come down from the mountain."

"yes, we've been worried about you all along."

The crowd gathered the five of them in the middle and asked nonsense.

"Actually, we were able to come down because of our benefactor." The middle-aged man said at this time, and turned around, but when he saw that the back was empty, he froze.

The rest of the people also noticed his strange appearance and couldn't help but look around.

"What about the benefactor?"

"yes, where is the benefactor?"

"He's not going to leave alone so late, is he?"

"Hey, I haven't thanked them yet, I don't even know the name."

It's just that they are doomed to be disappointed, and that figure can only be firmly remembered in their hearts.

Actually, I didn't leave at this time, but went south alone.

On the road before, I heard the middle-aged man mention that about three kilometers south of the current Rongbu Temple, there are the ruins of the former Rongbu Temple, and there is even a cave where Guru Padmasambhava practiced, and there are some scriptures engraved in it.

I don't know why, but when I heard about this place, I couldn't wait to find out.

The ruins were not hard to find, and there were some remnants of buildings, and as it was getting dark, I walked through them, and I closed my eyes and seemed to be surrounded by the sound of chanting, as if I was delusional.

I felt as if I had traveled through time and space, in the midst of the glory of the past, and the so-called splendor here did not refer to how brilliant the temple was, but the scriptures that kept lingering in my ears, like the thunder in the sky.

When I opened my eyes again, I found that I had unconsciously come to a cave, and above the cave, there were three big characters, Padmasambhava, and I thought that this should be the place where Guru Padmasambhava practiced.

Just as I was about to step in, I suddenly heard a thin chanting sound in my ears, which was inaudible at first, but as I listened closely, it seemed to ring in my ears.

"What is this?" I looked at the cave with some horror, staring at it as if I wanted to see through it.

I muttered outside for a moment, relying on the boldness of the artist, and thought about walking directly into it.

The cave is not very tall, and there are even traces of later excavations, and in some places there are still some stone carvings, as well as the hand and foot prints of Guru Padmasambhava.

When I turned a corner, the scriptures in my ears disappeared suddenly, as if everything was just my hallucination.

At the same time, I also saw a figure sitting on a lotus stone platform, the gray linen monk's robe wrapped around the seemingly thin body, the wrinkles on his face were many and deep, more like a little old man who did not look amazing, his eyes were closed, just sitting there gave people an incomparably peaceful feeling, and all distractions disappeared in an instant.

Looking at this figure, I even had the feeling that Guru Padmasambhava had been reincarnated, as if the figure sitting there was the same Guru back then.

"I've seen the Holy Living Buddha." I bowed deeply to the unremarkable old monk, as the dzi on my wrist was throbbing slightly.

I have thought about many possibilities of meeting before, maybe when I woke up this living Buddha suddenly appeared in front of my window, or met in a dream, but all after leaving Mount Everest, therefore, I never thought it would be so sudden.

The fact that this Living Buddha was able to appear here obviously knew that I would be here was awe-inspiring enough, because I had not planned to come here before, it was only a temporary intention, and the other party had been waiting here for a long time.

"You're here." The Holy Living Buddha slowly opened his eyes, and the originally dark cave suddenly lit up.

Of course, this was just a feeling in my consciousness, and in fact the cave was still pitch black.

The other party's eyes were dark and deep, just like the puddle behind the golden mountain, bottomless.

"How did the Living Buddha know I was coming here?" I couldn't help but ask the question in my heart, the previous Lianshan Master was able to know because he was proficient in Lianshan Yi, but the Living Buddha Lock didn't seem to be good at this.

"Does it matter? As you've come along the way, do you think the outcome or the process is important? The Holy Living Buddha did not answer my words, but asked.

"It's all important." I almost didn't think about it, I answered, in my eyes, the process is a necessary experience, but the result is what I want to pursue.

"What if you could only choose one?" The Holy Living Buddha continued to ask.

"But I want both." I shook my head and said firmly.

(Chapter 3 arrives!) )
