Chapter Seventy-Three: Paying the Bill (Part II)

On the following journey, members from the Northern Association continued to attack Su Qin and the others.

Most of these various supernatural power users were directly and violently crushed by Su Qin, who was holding a magic sword. But there are other special beings that have caused him a lot of trouble. In addition to humans wielding various supernatural powers, the attacking group is also mixed with creatures unique to myths and legends from all over Europe.

In the face of these hideous or mysterious creatures, Su Qin just silently raised his magic sword and moved forward to kill. As the cyclops captured and domesticated from Norway fell to his knees, Su Qin, who was standing at the top of the corpse pile, was covered in all kinds of blood all over his body. Viscous blood continued to drip down the cracks of the demon armor, and the thick blood stain gradually disappeared from the surface of the armor, but in contrast, the reliefs depicting the scenes of hell became more and more vivid.

In the distance, Rhetia sat down exhausted. The demonized rifle slipped out of her hand, and the hot barrel even distorted the air around her. Samiyah silently collected the souls of his enemies floating around him. After kneading for a moment, several brand-new magic bullets appeared in her hand.

"Knot... Is it over? Everram, who was lying in the corner and pretending to be dead, pushed away the corpse pressed against him, and asked the two in a low voice.

"Maybe." Su Qin dragged the magic sword down the corpse pile, and the whole person looked extremely tired. Although every time he slashed the Demon Sword, he would replenish some of his physical strength, so that he wore the Demon Armor and fought with all his strength for much longer than expected. But mentally, he felt on the verge of collapse several times because of the height of his attention. Thankfully, in the end, he supported it until the end of the battle.

An excessively tired spirit is like a numb hand or foot after a long period of exercise, temporarily unable to perceive the Force and psionic energy. However, the black blood that made up the main body of the magic sword became extremely active because it devoured a large number of high-quality souls. The high-speed blood flowing in his body made Su Qin subconsciously clench the hilt of his sword, as if the battle was not over.

"Be careful, though most of the Northern Society's experiments have been unsuccessful. But a few of these experiments have yielded unexpected results, and the by-products of those experiments can empower people at a cost. The blockers that appeared before were nothing more than miscellaneous fish compared to them. Everam said nervously as he wiped his cracked lens.

Rumble!

As he spoke, a small building on the side of the street was suddenly smashed through from behind by some kind of vehicle. Looking at the unprecedented heavy armor and thick caliber tank guns, it is not difficult for anyone who knows a little about World War II weapons to guess that this is a rat-type super-heavy tank that was designed and built only at the end of the war. Perhaps because of the supernatural powers in this world, the tank, which was supposed to be prototyped two years later, in 1944, appeared in front of everyone.

The tank turret turned slowly, facing the pitch-black barrel. Su Qin could almost hear the sound of cannonballs being loaded from inside. Before the first flash of fire appeared, he leaned down and charged the tank. The secondary shell that fired first passed by him, directly destroying half of the building behind him. The 128-millimeter-diameter gun didn't have time to fire.

The magic sword that pierced the turret along the cannon shield screamed and turned the main cannon into a pile of parts, and the blade pulled horizontally cut off all the armor plates at the top of the turret. Exposed to the twilight light, the commander bravely drew his pistol and tried to make a last stand, but the black flames on the sword erupted like a snake, burning the pistol to ashes along with his right hand.

Facing the angry glaring crew members, Su Qin stopped the further attack of the magic sword.

"The war is over, and you don't need to lose your lives for it."

After saying that, he jumped out of the tank without looking back and walked into the distance.

At this moment, these soldiers who came to carry out the mission with a determined heart only saw confusion in each other's eyes. As the war progressed endlessly, even the most determined warriors inevitably felt lost. Because no one knows how long this dehumanizing catastrophe will last. Suffering has made most people look no further than victory, and all they pray for is a pitiful and small peace.

Neither side of the war could see the light of hope. As the war deepened, all that came with it was an increasingly harsh social environment and the souls of the dead who could not return to their hometowns.

"The time is ripe." Seeing the tank crew leave, a sneer came from the abandoned roof. There stood a man in a German Army uniform with strange runes painted on his face. He looked at Su Qin and the others below who set off again with a vulture-like gaze, and after a long war of attrition, the Northern Association was finally able to launch a real killing move that lurked behind the madness.

Fatigue prevented Su Qin and the others from spotting the assassins peeping from above, and when they left the battlefield and continued to advance towards the headquarters of the Northern Society. A cold killing intent erupted, and several bandaged enemies sprang out of the shadows. The cursed and venomous daggers in their hands silently stabbed into the backs of the people.

"Be careful!" Su Qin pulled Rhodia over and used her gauntlet to block the assassin's dagger. At the same time, the barbed chain hanging from the hilt of the sword also automatically launched a defense like a living thing, and the chain, driven by Henig, wrapped around the neck of the assassin behind Su Qin like a python and strangled him directly. On the other side, Efram was unresponsive, but he had the best luck to slip and dodge the dagger in the Assassin's hand.

Despite the loss of a companion in the first round of the fight, this did not deter the other Assassins. With the first wave of attacks failing, a variety of enemies are constantly being drilled from all corners of the street. These monstrous creatures with absurd appearances that should only appear in nightmares launched endless attacks on Su Qin and them.

"Hell, they're all the failed products of the Golden Human Plan." Efram exclaimed, then rolled and ducked into the rubble. In terms of the ability to escape, he is not at all like a scientific researcher who is not diligent.

"Again...... Human experiments......"

Su Qin lowered his head and whispered, Retia, who was protected by him, could clearly hear his increasingly rapid heartbeat even through the heavy armor. The thunder light wrapped around Su Qin's body again, and his back, which had become a little rickety from exhaustion, slowly straightened.

"They're just the Doctor's playthings." Holding the pale gold pendant on her chest meaningfully, Rhodia sighed softly in a sad voice.

"Well, all we can do is bury them."

The demonic rifle that was picked up by its master began to roar continuously, and bullets burning with cyan phosphorus fire whistled out like a swarm of swarms and shuttled back and forth among the monsters. Su Qin, who was holding the magic sword, stood behind Rhedia to block attacks from all directions, and the blood-colored fur floating behind him condensed into six whips and danced wildly in the air. The fastest part of the whip even left white trails in the air, which were left behind after the sonic barrier had been breached.

The blade of the sword shines, and the projectile gallops.

In the ruined Dublin, which has been reduced to a dead city, the battle is as dazzling as the last fireworks.
