This is the social landscape in the African country of Sierra Leone, where many people died from Ebola during that time, but even more people died from riots and repression than from Ebola. Over the years, I heard that there was another civil war there, and the situation did not get better, but worse.

What's worse is that, despite the civil war and the plague, the population of their black Africa is still rising against the trend, not decreasing.

Moreover, Sierra Leone is, after all, a small country, far from the worst part of Africa's demographic crisis. As long as automation technology continues to advance, even if the population of the developed countries stagnates, economic growth will not be hindered, and at most a little bit of the smart students of the third world will be selectively accepted. As for the remaining billions of low-quality people who are unable to engage in neither modern industry nor modern agriculture, from the perspective of social productive forces, they are simply redundant, no different from the disabled, and live entirely on the kindness and charity of others.

In the same way, on the planet today, although technological progress has not stagnated, land expansion has stopped - human beings have only one earth.
