The eighteen hells can be divided into four categories according to the nature of the punishment.

Youzeng Hell: Each of the eight hot hells has four gates, and each gate has four small hells, for a total of one hundred and twenty-eight hells. All sentient beings who come out of the Eight Heats Hell have to travel here one by one to suffer, so they are called Youzeng.

Eight Cold Hells: Extremely cold, where sentient beings often cry out because of the cold, and their bodies are frozen and discolored.

Lonely hell: Living a lonely, inhuman life by the mountains and rivers in the world can be said to be a hell on earth.

There are eight heats, eight colds, wanderings, and loneliness, so there are eighteen levels of hell.

I said in a hesitant voice, "The two ghost judgments, the punishments I have seen in the Ten Halls of the Netherworld and the Eighteen Hells seem to have many inappropriate crimes. For example, a person who remarries is tried and tortured after death. In clichéd terms, this is backward feudal thinking, is there something wrong with the law in the Yin Division? ”

Niu Tou Ma was shocked and shouted: "King Ming, Hugh has to talk nonsense in the underworld!" ”

Seeing that my face was full of sincere fear, Ma Mian eased his face and said, "Before Shakyamuni became a Buddha, hell was completed. All the laws of Yin Si are set with reference to the laws of the world, because the ten halls of Yama are also people in the world. It's just that after I attained the Buddha's enlightenment, in order to educate the Three Realms, the Bodhisattva of the Earth showed great compassion and voluntarily became a Bodhisattva instead of a Buddha, and became the leader of the Netherworld Sect in charge of the Yin Division. ”

"Although the Buddhas and the Tao are integrated, because the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have jumped out of the Three Realms, not in the Five Elements, and the hells are also within the Three Realms, it is inconvenient for the Jizo Bodhisattvas to interfere more. Therefore, the law of the Yin Si has been used and has not been amended to this day. ”

Hearing the words of Ma Mian, I kept reciting the six-character mantra, and suddenly the golden light flashed on my forehead, and just when I was startled, I saw that the qiē around me seemed to be gone, and I was like being in an infinite dark environment.

In the darkness, a golden light grew stronger and stronger, and finally illuminated the entire pitch-black world.

In mid-air, a tall old monk with Buddha light on his head, lotus under his feet, and a white dog on the side accompanied him, chanting the Buddha's name loudly.

When I saw this, I hurriedly knelt down, chanted the Buddha in my mouth, and said, "Meet the Jizo Bodhisattva!" ”

Jizo Bodhisattva Lang said: "King Ming, you were originally my Buddha's son, entrusted to the world, observed the suffering of the world, and understood the teachings of Buddhism. There are many inconsistencies in the Yin Si Prison. It's just that I, the Buddha, have come to educate all the disciples and people in the Buddhist sect, and it is inconvenient to meddle in the affairs of the Three Realms. You are now an ordinary man, and you are destined to enter the underworld, and if you see that it is inappropriate, it should be the will of the people. After that, the laws of Yin Si must be revised again! ”

I quickly knelt on the ground and chanted the Buddha's name aloud. Jizo Bodhisattva said: "King Ming, hell torture seems cruel, but it is actually compassion. I, the Buddha, come and educate sentient beings. If you commit karma in the world, and in hell you will be tortured with all kinds of suffering, and you will be able to cut off the six evil desires and stop greed, hatred, and foolishness. When all evil is gone, you will naturally get out of hell and re-enter reincarnation! ”

I was about to ask again, but I saw that the golden light disappeared in an instant, and the Jizo Bodhisattva was gone.

I bowed down again and again in the darkness to send off the Bodhisattva. When I looked up, I realized that as if nothing had happened, I was still sitting on the sofa in the living room of Lao Wang's villa as before.

The qiē in the dream echoed in my mind clearly. It's just that there is no longer a gloomy underworld around, and Ding Xiaomei who is chasing me for my life is gone.

I was also puzzled for a while, was it my Nan Ke dream just now, or did Ding Xiaomei's ghost really come here, and then I went to the underworld with her?

Yes, in the Yin Division, didn't the Son of Yama give me the Yin and Yang Eyes? So why don't I give it a try? If I can really see the things of the underworld in a sober state, then it means that everything I just said is true.

The Son of Heaven said that this yin and yang eyes are light and cannot be used, so I have to find a reason, right? Ding Xiaomei's soul must have left, this is not the reason for me to open the yin and yang eyes. And at this time, I am no longer worried that Ding Xiaomei's soul will continue to haunt me, at this moment, her soul must have chased after Lao Wang. This decaying ghost may be the time when Lao Wang's wealth is shattered. As long as Lao Wang's wealth is broken, the ghost killed by him will have revenge and revenge.

Now the most worthy of my attention is where is that Ah Liu? And why did he kill his former lover Fei Fei? As long as I find Ah Liu's trace or Fei Fei's ghost, maybe I can get a glimpse of Lao Wang's secret.

I sat silently for a while, and my heart suddenly became empty, and I was surprised to find that the underworld I had just seen appeared in front of my eyes again. Although I was very excited, I became depressed after a while, because I didn't see Ah Liu and Fei Fei in the underworld.

This means that their souls are not in the underworld. Although there is a soul that resembles Ah Liu, but that soul is white, almost transparent, and the bull head and horse face have told me, which shows that this soul is still in the world, that is, his physical body has not yet died, and what I see is only the scene in the future.

Therefore, in order to get a large sum of money, he will inevitably get through his previous relationships. And Lao Wang is the most suitable candidate for Ah Liu.

Ah Liu used to be his subordinate, and he helped Lao Wang do a lot of bad things, and now that this kid has an accident, he will definitely ask for help and even extort money from Lao Wang. In other words, the people who are looking for Lao Wang now are not only me, but also Ah Liu.

Ah Liu must have a better way to find Lao Wang than me, so Lao Wang's chance of being exposed is a little greater. Therefore, I was relieved that I couldn't find Ah Liu in the underworld.

In this bizarre world, several ribbons of different colors jumped in front of me, looking close but ethereal.

Hey, what's going on? I've never seen this before. I was in a daze, and the Heavenly Eye Pass had disappeared. Recalling the scene I saw just now, I thought about it for a long time, and suddenly figured out something.

The ribbons I saw just now must be Fei Fei's soul. After Fei Fei died, her soul could not enter the underworld, and could only wander in the yang world, so I would only see it when I activated the Tianyan Pass.

Why are there several ribbons of the soul you see? After a little contemplation, I realized the truth. After death, the soul is scattered when it leaves the body. In other words, the seven souls and six souls of a person will temporarily wander away in the yang world.

After seven days, which is what the folk call the "first seven", the seven souls and six spirits that have left the body will slowly recondense again, or enter the underworld to report, or become a lonely soul and wild ghost floating in the world.

It is customary to think that the 'first seven' refers to the seventh day after the death of a person. It is generally believed that the soul of the deceased will return home on the 'first seven', and the family should prepare a meal for the soul of the deceased before the soul returns, and then must avoid it, the best way is to sleep, and if you can't sleep, you should hide under the covers, if the soul of the deceased sees the family, it will make him remember, and it will affect his reincarnation as a human being. It is also said that when the family returns home on the seventh day of the first day, the family should burn a ladder-shaped object at home, so that the soul can follow the "ladder" to the heavens.

Counting from the day of the deceased's death, the mourners will hold a paper-burning memorial service every seven days, a total of 7 times, commonly known as 'burning seven'. Generally speaking, 'Sanqi' and 'Wuqi' are more important, and relatives and friends should also send some paper and candles.

There is also a ritual of 'huisha' (also known as 'huisha'). The old custom believed that the soul of a person still exists after death, and before 7749 days, the ghost of the deceased will return home once, and the specific time is calculated by the Taoist priest. At that time, the bereaved family will arrange the incense, candles, wine and food, and spread a layer of charcoal ash or plant ash on the ground to test the footprints of the deceased. With a bamboo pole and a sticker money every foot, stand on the doorstep or insert it under the eaves of the house where the deceased has fallen into the air, and it is said that the ghost will enter the house when he sees this.

A hard-boiled egg was placed in a pot in the corner of the house to bribe the god of evil (commonly known as the god of chicken feet) to keep the ghost of the deceased in the house for a little longer. At this time, the family hides far away, and after the specified time has passed, they first throw a string of firecrackers into the house, and then they can enter the house after the explosion. At the end of the 100th day and anniversary, paper is burned to commemorate the occasion. Half a year or a year after the death of the deceased, another ashram is given to the deceased.

The 'first seven' sacrifices to the dead at night, relatives and friends stay all night, eat the 'first seven wontons' at midnight, and send people to other people's fields to 'steal vegetables', the purpose is to be cursed by the thief's house, and it is said that the more fierce the scolding, the faster the wealth will be made. And the stolen house will often notice the secrecy of the 'burning head seven' of the nearby people and be silent.
